"I'd rather not. All the weapons on you are basically cheats!" March 7th politely declined Yan Huan's longbow.
Yunli stared at the weapon, looking slightly dazed.
"Why... can't I hear your weapon's voice?"
"Maybe it's because the forging methods are different." Yan Huan put the weapon away.
"So, where do we go next?"
"These two big rocks probably won't work. Let's go return them first." Holding the ore, March 7th sighed helplessly.
Yan Huan and Yunli followed Dan Heng and March 7th to a marketplace.
There were stalls selling vegetables, pets, antiques... it seemed like they sold everything.
"There, that's the stall where we bought them." Cradling the huge rocks, March 7th gestured ahead with her chin.
"When I said I wanted materials to forge a weapon, the vendor recommended these."
The group slowly approached the stall.
The stall owner was a little old man wearing tiny round sunglasses, seated in a chair and fanning himself with a palm-leaf fan.
Many ores were displayed on his stall. He had apparently set up shop specifically for contestants looking to forge equipment for the Martial Arts Ceremony.
"Hey, boss." Yunli stepped forward and addressed the old man.
"You're the one who sold her these two rocks?"
The old man glanced at the little girl speaking.
"Hehe, that's right."
"What, are you here to buy materials too, little miss?"
"Perfect timing. I've got another extraterrestrial meteorite here! It's supposedly what Nuwa used to mend the heavens in some world's legend, and now it's only selling for Credits."
"An opportunity like this won't come twice. If you're interested, place your order now!"
"Give it a rest."
Yunli waved a hand, having March 7th and Dan Heng set the rocks down, then said disdainfully:
"You think I'm an amateur too? These rocks are just for
