Jingfeng Ship's bridge.
Yunli searched for a long time before she finally found March 7th.
March 7th was crouched off to one side, quietly munching on watermelon.
"There you are, March! I've been looking everywhere for you and called you so many times, but you were here eating watermelon!"
"Huh?" March 7th looked back from her crouch, her lips smeared with watermelon juice. "You called me?"
"Yes! A bunch of times!"
"But my phone never rang."
March 7th tossed the rind onto the gleaming alloy floor, wiped her hands on her clothes, then pulled out her phone to check.
There were no missed calls.
"See? Nothing." March 7th held up her screen triumphantly. "With Luofu in such a mess, why wouldn't I answer my phone?"
"Huh?"
"That's weird."
Yunli scratched her head, pulled out her own phone, and called March 7th again on the spot.
Beep, beep, beep...
March 7th's phone still did nothing.
"What's going on? Is the signal bad?"
Yunli opened her messages and typed a line to send to March 7th.
A big exclamation mark appeared beside it.
"Huh?"
"I don't have service? That's impossible... I paid my bill yesterday."
"This feels familiar."
As Yunli grew increasingly agitated, March 7th remembered when she and Yan Huan had first come to Luofu.
They had lost contact with Dan Heng back then too. Their phones had been hacked.
"Your phone's been hacked!"
"Uh, has it?" Yunli gave March 7th a puzzled look. "Never mind that. Did you come into money recently? How could you afford armor worth two and a half million Strales?"
"???"
"How much?!" March 7th cried.
"Two and a half million? In Strales?!"
"I'd have to be crazy to blow that much money on armor! I'd come out of this event poorer than when I started!"
