"What exactly are you trying to say?" Piccolo said in a deep voice.
"A long time ago, we were the same person, separated by necessity. Now, I have decided to merge with you. I believe that once we fuse, we might be able to deal with these aliens." The Guardian smiled. "I hope you won't refuse; it is the only way we can survive."
"Merge?" Demon King Piccolo looked the man who was identical to him up and down. After a moment of silence, he replied, "Do you think that with our current levels, we could defeat them after merging? What a joke! Their energy is a hundred times stronger than ours; what use is a fusion?"
"Piccolo, listen to me first." The Guardian was not impatient, but patiently persuaded him, "Although our energy is weak right now, it is because we lost a great deal of our vitality when we separated. After merging, that vitality will return to our bodies. I have calculated it; if we fuse, dealing with those aliens will be more than enough!"
"Oh?" Demon King Piccolo's eyes darted back and forth, then he suddenly sneered, "I can agree to it, but I have two conditions."
"Speak." The Guardian nodded.
"First, if you want to merge with this Demon King, my body must be the foundation. Second, before the fusion, I must gather the seven Dragon Balls as quickly as possible to restore my youth first." Demon King Piccolo smiled faintly. "You should have noticed it too; we don't have many years left to live. You wouldn't want a powerful being to die of old age, would you?"
"I agree." The Guardian nodded gently and said, "I know the location of the Dragon Balls. Follow me."
After speaking, the Guardian soared into the air, heading toward the location where Vegeta was keeping the Dragon Balls.
"Boom! Boom!"
Accompanied by a series of loud explosions, the few spaceships on Earth were completely destroyed by Ginyu and his men.
Vegeta, who was flying toward the last Dragon Ball, sensed everything Ginyu and his group were doing and couldn't help but feel puzzled.
Why would these guys destroy the spaceships?
Suddenly, a flash of inspiration struck Vegeta's mind.
Could it be...
An ominous premonition surfaced in Vegeta's brain.
Vegeta gritted his teeth and increased his speed.
Almost there. He was about to reach the location of the final Dragon Ball.
He hoped he would make it in time!
"Captain, except for the five we arrived in, all other spaceships have been cleared out." Jeice smiled, then asked with some confusion, "But how are we going to notify Vegeta? That brat doesn't seem to be carrying a scouter."
"That's simple." Captain Ginyu smiled slightly.
The next moment, Ginyu's chest suddenly expanded. He exerted all his strength and shouted toward the direction of Vegeta, "Vegeta! Every spaceship on this planet except for ours has been destroyed. If you don't show up, I will immediately board our ships and wipe out this planet! I'm not bluffing. I'll give you half an hour; if you don't appear by then, you can wait to vanish along with the Earth!"
Far away, thousands of miles away, Vegeta gritted his teeth and ignored him.
As expected, they really intended to destroy the Earth!
However, going to Ginyu meant death anyway, so it was better not to go at all.
Vegeta pushed his speed to the absolute limit once more.
