Come forth, Shenron

Once he had his wish granted, he would kill Frieza first, then find a suitable planet to settle down on. When he grew up, he could come back and take Bulma home with him. That sounded like a good option, too.

There was nothing on Earth worth missing, anyway.

"Old Guardian, you'll regret making me leave Earth!" Vegeta smiled. Earth would have no shortage of trouble in the years ahead.

Even setting aside Majin Buu, who had been left in an uninhabited region, the Androids alone would give the Guardian and the others more than they could handle.

He had no idea whether Nappa had destroyed the Red Ribbon Army's laboratory, but Vegeta guessed it was unlikely. Apparently, the laboratory was somewhere very well hidden. Even with his current abilities, he might not be able to find them.

At that moment, Ginyu and the others finally arrived at the Lookout.

"I never thought this planet would have such an unusual place. You learn something new every day." Ginyu clicked his tongue in wonder as he admired the Lookout's magnificent buildings.

"Captain, Vegeta was right. It really is an old cat." Jeice had already spotted Karin.

Captain Ginyu nodded and looked at Karin with a smile. "You know why I'm here, don't you? Tell me, where is Vegeta now?"

"He may seem far away, but he's right before your eyes, meow," Karin said, his expression unchanged.

"Hmph."

Captain Ginyu made a grabbing motion in the air. The next instant, Karin rose straight off the ground and hung suspended in midair.

"You mangy cat, crushing you would be no harder than crushing an ant. You'd better stop speaking in riddles." Ginyu's face darkened as he stared coldly at Karin, whom he held in his grip. "Tell me, where is Vegeta?"

"Meow..." Karin gave a feline cry but showed no intention of speaking.

"I never thought Earthlings would be so stubborn. Fine, then. You can die!" A cold smile curled Ginyu's lips as a blaze of energy began gathering in his hand.

With barely a thought from Ginyu, Karin would be reduced to cosmic dust.

Yet Karin showed no fear at all. His face wore the smile of someone prepared to face death.

"Come forth, Shenron!"

Vegeta shouted at the seven Dragon Balls glittering on the ground.

Boom!

Rays of golden light immediately radiated from the seven Dragon Balls, clinging to their surfaces before merging together in an instant.

With a thunderous roar, a golden pillar shot up into the clouds, and the sky suddenly turned pitch-black.

Lightning flashed, thunder crashed, and fierce winds howled.

Shenron, tens of thousands of meters long, coiled across the vast sky, his roars ringing out one after another and making everything tremble.

Just as Ginyu was about to attack Karin, he suddenly noticed that the sky had gone completely black and looked around in surprise.

"Jeice? What's going on?" Ginyu asked.

"Captain, I'm wondering the same thing. There should still be five hours until sunset, but the sky suddenly went dark... How strange." Jeice shook his head, looking bewildered.

"Captain, look over there!" Recoome pointed at the distant, glittering Shenron, his expression startled.

Ginyu's gaze swept toward Shenron. His brows drew tightly together as he took a closer look.

"Vegeta! Do you see him? That's Vegeta!" Ginyu pointed at a tiny, barely visible figure in the distance and shouted to his team.

"It really is Vegeta!" Jeice and Recoome nodded in agreement.

"And what is that monster?" Ginyu had a feeling things were taking a bad turn.
