After a ripple in space, Jaco and Tights found their surroundings drastically changed.

The three of them were no longer on Earth, but had arrived at the Galactic Patrol headquarters, a place Jaco knew better than anywhere else!

"What kind of magic is this? How amazing!" Jaco exclaimed.

"That's just Lin Chen's Instant Transmission." Tights had already traveled via Instant Transmission with Lin Chen several times, so she was used to it by now.

Lin Chen turned to look at Jaco with a smile. "Mr. Jaco, please take me to see the Galactic King."

"Lin Chen, you better not have any devious ideas! This is the Galactic Patrol headquarters! If you dare to cause any trouble, the Galactic Patrol won't let you off the hook," Jaco warned.

"Don't worry, I really am here to discuss a partnership."

Lin Chen certainly wouldn't act rashly; he remembered that hidden within the Galactic Patrol was Merus, a top-tier expert of unknown strength!

The guy was suspected to be an Angel, on the same level as Whis. With Lin Chen's current strength, causing trouble in front of him would be nothing short of suicide.

The three of them then headed toward the Galactic King's office.

Along the way, many people were surprised to see Jaco back.

"Jaco, didn't you go to Earth?"

"Jaco, you're back? How come I don't see your ship?"

"Jaco..."

Tights watched the scene and said, "Jaco, you're quite popular, aren't you?"

"Of course, I'm a super elite!"

Lin Chen just gave a dry laugh.

Before long, the trio finally met the Galactic King.

Although Tights had known Jaco for many years, this was her first time seeing his boss, and she was momentarily stunned.

Unlike the image she had in her mind, the real Galactic King was actually a green octopus-man wearing a crown!

"Jaco, why are you back? And who are they?"

"A-a Saiyan?" The Galactic King jumped, his body trembling uncontrollably.

One of his guards nearby even began to sneakily move toward a button on the wall.

"Hmm?"

Lin Chen suddenly glared at the man, firing a restrained blast of pressure that knocked the guard straight to the floor.

"Don't be nervous, everyone. Although I am a Saiyan, I come with good intentions."

"W-what exactly do you want?" the Galactic King asked.

"Galactic King, I've come here to offer the services of the Saiyans to the Galactic Patrol," Lin Chen said.

Hearing this, the Galactic King was taken aback. "Offer your services? What do you mean?"

Lin Chen then explained his plan.

Now that the Saiyans were under his control, they were forbidden from raiding or invading other planets.

However, this meant the Saiyans lacked practical combat experience.

The strength honed in a training room had its limits, and to break through those limits, real combat was essential.

Since the Saiyans could no longer do evil, Lin Chen intended to have them follow the path of the Saiyans from Universe 6 in the original story.

In that universe, the Saiyans made a living by protecting other planets and being hired to take down evildoers.

Familiar with the original story, Lin Chen knew that aside from Merus, the Galactic Patrol wasn't actually that strong. Most of the time, they could only handle common bandits; when faced with someone slightly more powerful, like the Frieza Force, they were completely helpless.

But while they had no way to deal with such threats, the current Saiyans did.

"How about it, Your Majesty? If you agree, the Saiyans can become a special operations unit for the Galactic Patrol."

"I call this unit a Peacekeeping Force. If you encounter dangerous criminals you can't handle, you can send the Saiyans in."

The Galactic King was stunned. "Is that so? That's not a bad idea, but can you guarantee the Saiyans won't cause trouble? Your reputation in the past hasn't been good."

"That was the past. Now that the Saiyans are under my rule, I will lead them onto the right path."

"Well... alright then."

"Thank you, Galactic King. I'll have my people coordinate with yours for the specifics."

After settling things with the Galactic King, Lin Chen didn't linger long, taking Tights and Jaco back to Earth.

Shortly after they left, a Galactic Patrolman rushed in, laser gun in hand.

"Your Majesty, where is the Saiyan criminal? I heard a vicious Saiyan came to attack you?"

"Ah, Merus! Don't worry, it was all just a misunderstanding."

Hearing this, the Galactic Patrolman named Merus paused. When he heard of Lin Chen's intentions, a look of surprise flashed across his eyes.

A King of the Saiyans who wanted to lead his people to turn over a new leaf?

To think that such a figure could emerge among the Saiyans of this universe?

One month later, Planet Vegeta.

At this moment, the training craze on Planet Vegeta had been reignited.

Inside the Gravity Rooms produced by Capsule Corporation, Saiyans of all sizes were engaged in grueling training.

Whenever someone sustained severe injuries in a Gravity Room, they were immediately rushed into a Healing Tank, also provided by Capsule Corporation, for treatment.

Thanks to Dr. Brief and Bulma, Lin Chen's Saiyan Enhancement Project was back on track. He had already completed more than half of the first of the three tasks he had received from the system: to have over 1,000 Saiyans reach a combat power exceeding 10,000 within one year.

The other two tasks were also progressing smoothly; it seemed that completing them within a year was now just a matter of time.

In light of all this, ever since the equipment was transported from Earth back to Planet Vegeta, Lin Chen had also begun his own training, only to quickly discover that he seemed to have hit a bottleneck.
