Lord Zuno, the Omniscient

BANG!

Hearing the roar erupt from the room, the guards outside dared not hesitate a moment longer, instantly shattering the door with a blast of energy.

"King Cold!"

As they stormed into the room, they were met with the sight of King Cold clutching one of his personal guards.

The guard's head hung limply to the side; he was clearly dead.

"King Cold, he, he..."

"You useless trash! He was the culprit behind the recent string of attacks!" King Cold tossed the corpse onto the floor. "Clean this up, and burn his body!"

With that, King Cold strode out of the room.

"Yes, yes..."

The attendants knelt on the ground, watching King Cold depart.

Only then did they look at the body on the floor, whispering in confusion, "That guy was one of the King's personal guards. How could he possibly dare to attack him?"

"Who knows? Maybe he went insane? To be a personal guard and still not understand the terror of King Cold? What a fool."

These attendants had no idea that the "King Cold" they were speaking of was actually the corpse lying on the floor.

The person who had just walked out was, in fact, Ginyu, who had already seized King Cold's body!

Once Ginyu returned to King Cold's private chambers and locked the door, he could no longer contain his laughter. "Hahaha! Power! I can feel the power!"

"Is this the body of a Frost Demon? The power surging and overflowing within this vessel feels like it's about to explode!"

"That's right! The Frost Demon race can transform! Just like Frieza, King Cold has been suppressing his own strength all this time! If I transform as well, wouldn't I be invincible?"

Suddenly, Ginyu calmed down. "No... I am not invincible yet. Even if I reach my final form, I fear I would be no match for a Super Saiyan... I must get stronger! I need to become even more powerful! This body should be capable of further training; it still has so much potential to be tapped!"

"Right! And there's the Dragon Ball! I will use it to gain eternal life. As long as I possess immortality, combined with this Frost Demon body, I, Captain Ginyu, will surely rule the entire universe!"

"Just you wait, Saiyan! Once I surpass the limits of the Frost Demon race, I will come for you! The most powerful emperor in the universe is neither Frieza nor you Saiyans—it is I, Ginyu!"

"Jaco! Does that 'Zuno' really know everything?"

"Of course! Lord Zuno is the most brilliant being in the entire universe! His knowledge might even surpass that Shenron of yours!"

Jaco replied while piloting the spaceship.

At this moment, Lin Chen and Tights were aboard Jaco's ship.

Their destination was a mysterious planet somewhere in the cosmos.

On this planet lived a miraculous figure named Zuno.

According to Lin Chen's memories, Zuno was an omniscient being who understood everything in existence.

The reason he sought Zuno was to learn the method for traveling to parallel dimensions.

So, upon returning to Earth, Lin Chen had asked Tights to contact Jaco for him.

Although he possessed Instant Transmission, he did not know the location of Zuno's planet and had to rely on Jaco to lead the way.

As for Tights, once she heard about Zuno, she insisted on coming along to see for herself.

An omniscient alien—could there be anything more interesting than that?

Bulma had originally clamored to come along as well, but Lin Chen knew the young girl's true intentions and flatly refused.

Zuno's planet was quite far from Earth. They had been flying for several hours, and the group was gradually beginning to lose patience.

"Jaco, how much longer until we arrive?" Tights asked, bored.

"Another two hours, I suppose?" Jaco estimated.

"What? Two hours? Your ship is way too slow! Lin Chen's Instant Transmission is much more convenient..."

Hearing Tights' remark, Jaco replied unhappily, "Give me a break! This ship was a reward from the Galactic King for my service in the battle on Tiwei Planet! I earned this with my own life!"

"Oh? Tiwei Planet? I've heard Lin Chen mention it... Does that mean you've already died once, Jaco? Hey, hey, what's the afterlife like? Tell me, tell me!" Tights asked curiously.

"I don't know!" Jaco turned his head away.

Tights quickly grabbed his shoulder and pleaded, "Oh? Don't be stingy, just tell me. I can use it in my new book."

Jaco asked, confused, "New book? Didn't Galactic Patrolman Jaco already finish?"

"It finished, yes, but my new serialized book is called My Saiyan Boyfriend. It's currently number one on the bestseller list—it's doing much better than Galactic Patrolman Jaco ever did."

"Hmph! Then I'm definitely not telling you." Jaco turned his head away again, sulking.

Amidst their banter, which sounded like a comedy routine, they finally arrived at Zuno's planet.

Much like Zuno himself, Zuno Planet was quite peculiar.

The planet was small, only a few times larger than King Kai's planet, and its exterior appeared to be a planet encased within a giant wooden box.

The surface of the planet was colorful, and the only structure on it was Zuno's palace.

The palace was designed in a traditional Japanese style, yet there was a massive escalator in front of it, giving the entire place an exceptionally bizarre atmosphere.

The three of them rode the escalator up to the corridor in front of the palace, only to find a long line already waiting ahead.

No sooner had the trio steadied themselves than several aliens resembling warriors approached, each holding a small notebook.

Seeing these warriors, Tights asked, "Huh? These guys look so strange. Which one of them is Zuno?"

"None of us are Zuno! We are the attendants serving Lord Zuno!"

The alien warriors spoke in unison.

They then surrounded Lin Chen, saying, "Lord Zuno mentioned that uninvited guests were coming, so we have come to investigate."

"Uninvited guests?" Tights wondered aloud.

"Yes. Lord Zuno does not see anyone without an appointment," one attendant stated.

"What? Jaco! Why didn't you tell us?" Tights snapped at Jaco in a rage; after flying for hours, anyone would be furious to find out they couldn't even get a meeting.

Jaco was stunned as well; this was his first time on Zuno Planet, and he had no idea such a rule existed.

At this moment, the attendant flipped open his notebook and said, "If you make an appointment now, you can be scheduled for five years from now. How about it? Would you like to book one?"

"Five years?"

Upon hearing this, Jaco could only offer an awkward response: "Um... I'm a Galactic Patrolman. Could you make an exception?"

"No!" the attendant of Zuno refused without a moment's hesitation.
