Zuno's Answer

"What do we do now?" Jaco was suddenly at a loss.

"Simple."

Lin Chen smiled and stepped forward. "I have an appointment. Let me see Zuno."

"You?" Zuno's attendant blinked, flipping through his ledger. "What is your name? Let me check."

"Lin Chen! My Saiyan name is Lynx."

"Lin Chen? Lynx?" After a careful scan, the attendant said regretfully, "I'm sorry, you aren't on the appointment list..."

Before his words could even fade, a golden light suddenly erupted before him.

The next moment, Lin Chen transformed into a Super Saiyan and fired a ki blast toward the corridor outside.

"Ridiculous. Zuno Planet is protected by the power of Lord Zuno himself. You cannot possibly cause any damage to this planet..."

BOOM!

The ki blast slammed into a forest in the distance, punched through the ground, and exited directly out the other side of Zuno Planet.

Seeing this, every guard and guest present widened their eyes, snot streaming down their faces.

"Tell me, have you found my name yet?"

"F-found it! Lin Chen, right? Please, come in!"

The guests who had been queuing immediately split to both sides, clearing a path for Lin Chen.

"Let's go." Lin Chen did not revert to his base form; he walked toward the depths of the corridor with his golden hair still ablaze.

Tights was about to follow, but Jaco pulled her back.

"Tights, was that a Super Saiyan?"

Tights replied, "Yeah? Don't you think it's cool? His hair actually turns gold! Lin Chen said he can even turn it yellow-green, red, and blue later on!"

She glanced at Jaco and added, "You aren't thinking of arresting him for the destruction he just caused, are you?"

Jaco shook his head frantically. "How could I? We're companions, after all! Hahaha!"

Before long, the group arrived at a grand hall deep within the building, where a man resembling a Japanese samurai sat atop a "bowl"-like flying craft.

He was the master of this planet, Lord Zuno.

Beside Zuno, an attendant was whispering into his ear, clearly reporting the incident that had just occurred outside.

As Lin Chen approached, Zuno immediately put on a stern face. "Are you the one who broke the rules and forced your way in?"

"And what if I am?" Lin Chen asked.

Zuno did not reply, instead staring straight ahead and striking a mysterious pose.

At this, another attendant standing by Zuno spoke up: "Please present your tribute!"

In truth, Zuno's requirements for tribute were quite low; a kiss was enough to answer one question, and if the visitor was a beautiful woman, she might even be granted more.

But Lin Chen was the dignified King of the Saiyans; how could he stoop to such a demeaning act?

"What is a tribute? Is it this?" Lin Chen held up a finger, a Planet Destroyer Bomb coalescing in his palm.

This was one of Frieza's most powerful techniques, and the power contained within it could easily obliterate a planet.

As a being possessed of mysterious power, Zuno naturally recognized the lethality of this move at once. He nodded frantically, "Enough, that's enough! You may ask one... no, three... no, ask as many questions as you like!"

"Very good!" Lin Chen flicked his wrist, snuffing out his Planet Destroyer Bomb.

"Then listen well. My question is: how does one travel to a parallel universe?"

Zuno coughed and began to explain in a monotone, chant-like voice: "There are several ways to traverse parallel universes."

"The first is to use a time machine. Theoretically, time machines do not exist; every time one is used, it is actually a journey into a parallel universe."

"The second is to become a Supreme Kai and use the Time Rings reserved for them. When a new parallel universe is created, a green Time Ring is born. Using the corresponding ring allows one to reach that specific parallel universe."

Before Zuno could finish, Lin Chen interrupted: "Wait!"

"Zuno, what I want to know is how to reach a specific parallel universe!"

Lin Chen realized his question might have been phrased poorly, as Zuno's answer was not what he was looking for.

"In the parallel universe I wish to visit, there is a Legendary Super Saiyan who has conquered the entire South Galaxy! How do I get to that specific timeline?"

Zuno paused, then unexpectedly replied, "Is the Legendary Super Saiyan in that timeline you speak of named Broly?"

"You even know that?"

Lin Chen was momentarily stunned and incredulous; he hadn't expected Zuno to know such a detail.

"Of course I know. My vast knowledge stems from a special ability similar to a Great Prophecy. As long as something exists in this world, there is nothing I cannot know," Zuno answered.

"Impressive!"

Lin Chen was genuinely starting to admire this comical-looking fellow.

"Then, can you answer my previous question?"

"Certainly. There are two ways to reach the timeline you mentioned."

"The first method is to obtain the help of Chronoa, the Supreme Kai of Time. The Supreme Kai of Time is the deity who governs all parallel dimensions. She possesses the ability to observe and freely enter any parallel space-time."

"But as an aside, the Supreme Kai of Time transcends all universes and exists independently of Grand Zeno's control. Unless she summons them herself, it is impossible for mortals to see her."

Lin Chen then asked, "And the second method?"

"The second..." Zuno began, but he suddenly seemed to stall, his body beginning to twitch uncontrollably.

It was the first time Zuno's attendants had ever seen him like this, and they rushed forward in a panic, but Zuno raised a hand, signaling them not to approach.

"The second... the second method is to find Tamulespes Metal!"

"Tamulespes Metal? What is that?" Lin Chen asked.

"It is an extremely rare metal in the universe, also known as Time Metal. The Time Rings of the Supreme Kais are crafted from this very material! Incidentally, this metal has already gone extinct in our universe."

"That doesn't matter; I can just have Shenron conjure it. What then? What should I do after finding this metal?" Lin Chen continued to ask.

Zuno replied, "Possessing the Time Metal is only the first step. Next, you must bring the Time Metal to a place abundant in space-time energy, and infuse that energy into the metal."

"That..."

Before Lin Chen could ask, Zuno said, "A black hole is a place abundant in space-time energy. Infusing the metal with that energy simply means throwing the Tamulespes Metal into a black hole."

"That's it?" Lin Chen frowned. Why did this method sound so unreliable?

Zuno nodded. "That is correct, that is all. However, in reality, doing this only opens a gateway through space-time; it does not allow one to control where that gateway leads."

"However!" Zuno suddenly said with a solemn expression, "My ability tells me that if a Saiyan named Lynx does this, he will be able to open a path to a designated space."
