"Here's the situation. I don't know whether West Supreme Kai has told you, but there's a terrifying being in our universe called Majin Buu. Because of him, our Supreme Kais suffered heavy casualties. I contacted you about Buu because I'd like your help."

Kast knew about Majin Buu, of course. He was the one who had killed or injured five Supreme Kais. Laila had told him that even she had been badly wounded by Buu, then drifted through space for who knew how many millennia. In the end, she'd survived only thanks to an extraordinary stroke of luck.

Kast also knew from the original story that even Vegeta, at the peak of his Super Saiyan 2 form, had been no match for Majin Buu—even after self-destructing. Son Goku had nearly fought Buu to a draw after transforming into a Super Saiyan 3.

Of course, if Son Goku had fully charged his energy and faced Buu at the peak of his Super Saiyan 3 form, he might have had a slight chance of winning. Even so, that showed just how terrifying Majin Buu's strength was.

Honestly, Kast didn't want to fight such a powerful being without being sure he could win. It wasn't a question of bravery; it was a matter of reason.

Unless he had no choice, Kast wasn't willing to do something when he knew it couldn't be done.

Besides, he was still only at the peak of the first Super Saiyan level and hadn't even broken through to Super Saiyan 2. Although he was stronger than an ordinary Super Saiyan at the first level's peak,

no matter how strong he was, he couldn't compare to the power increase of the second level. Super Saiyan 2 was known as the Super Saiyan who surpassed Super Saiyan, and it doubled the power of the first Super Saiyan level—making it 100 times his normal strength!

So, Kast probably wasn't a match for Majin Buu at all right now.

Even so, Kast was interested in the method of breaking through that Supreme Kai had mentioned.

Kast had always wanted to visit the Supreme Kai World, but he'd never gone. First, he didn't know how to get there. Second, the important person there was still sealed away, so there'd been no point in going.

Later, after Laila arrived, Kast had a way to get to the Supreme Kai World. He'd originally planned to ask her to take him there, but Laila had never said she wanted to go. And, as mentioned, Old Kai was still sealed away, so there'd been little point. In the end, Kast never brought it up.

But now they wanted him to come over, so he could take the opportunity to have a look around.

Meanwhile, in the Supreme Kai World, Supreme Kai Shin happily announced that Kast had agreed. Laila was delighted to hear it. At last, they'd be together again.

Laila said she wanted to go bring Kast to the Supreme Kai World herself.

Supreme Kai Shin nodded. That would be best. Someone familiar would be much better than a stranger, and Kast would have less reason to be wary.

So Supreme Kai sent Kibito along with Laila.

Kast didn't stay in space for long. Soon after their conversation ended, Laila appeared in front of him with Kibito.

Kibito looked Kast over intently, then asked,

"West Supreme Kai, are you sure this is the human?"

Kast was still transformed into a Super Saiyan. His golden hair gleamed beneath his aura, and his gaze was sharp and composed.

"Yes!"

Although it wasn't her first time seeing him in this form, Laila couldn't help feeling excited. Kast's entire presence was so piercing, especially his sharp gaze. It was as if he could see right into a person's heart, leaving them with no secrets.

Kast didn't end his transformation. He held his transformed state and fixed Kibito with a sharp look.
