At once, a giant golden ape suddenly appeared in Kibito's mind as he locked eyes with Kast.

"Roar!!"

The ape let out a thunderous roar. Its deafening howl jolted Kibito back to reality.

"Y-you... sir, I'm Supreme Kai's attendant. My name is Kibito. I've come with West Supreme Kai to bring you to our Supreme Kai World."

Seeing how much Kibito had changed, Laila suspected it was because of the look Kast had given him.

She stepped over to Kast, rolled her eyes, and asked in a low voice,

"Did you just use some kind of trick on him?"

Kast glanced at Laila and replied calmly,

"I just taught him a lesson, so he won't cause trouble later."

As he spoke, Kast ended his Super Saiyan transformation and returned to his normal state.

As Laila had said, Kast knew a little about Kibito, the god.

As a god's attendant, Kibito Kai was just as arrogant as most deities, indifferent to mortals and unconcerned with them.

But this wasn't the time to dwell on that. Supreme Kai Shin stepped up to Kast and held out his hand.

"Hello. Welcome to Supreme Kai World. I'm the Supreme Kai here, Shin. You can just call me Shin."

When Kast didn't shake his hand, Supreme Kai didn't get angry. He simply withdrew it with a smile and said,

"I imagine you're not fond of formalities either, so I'll get straight to the point."

"I know you agreed to come here because you can break through your limits. Still, I should explain beforehand: I hope that after you break through, you'll help us defeat Majin Buu. Of course, you only need to help once you're strong enough to beat him. You don't have to do it right away."

Kast didn't say much in response. He simply said,

"I know. Just tell me how to break through."

Seeing Kast's expression, Supreme Kai Shin said no more. He smiled and replied,

"Very well. In that case, please come with me."

As he spoke, Supreme Kai floated into the air, then continued,

"What you need to break through is just ahead. Please follow me."

With that, Supreme Kai flew off into the distance.

Nearby, Kibito gestured respectfully for them to follow.

"Please come this way, Mr. Kast."

With that, Kibito slowly flew after Shin.

Watching the two of them fly away, Laila smiled and said,

"Kast, we should hurry and catch up."
