The first thing I'll do once I find them is wish to grow ten centimeters taller. I might as well settle in and make the best of it. From now on, there's no more Wang Chen. There's only Vegeta." Vegeta looked at the body, less than 1.7 meters tall, and murmured to himself.

After that battle, Vegeta never had another standout performance, and he lost his Saiyan pride, making it his goal to defeat Kakarot but never succeeding. Perhaps it was that very pride that kept him trailing behind Kakarot.

In his previous life, Wang Chen had also liked this character a lot. He was tenacious, proud, and fiercely self-respecting. Taking over Vegeta's body suited Wang Chen's personality perfectly. Since he was here, he might as well play the role of Vegeta properly! Though he didn't know why the original Vegeta had died, with a system, anything was possible!

When Frieza destroyed Planet Vegeta, he had deliberately sent Vegeta off to wage war on another planet. He wanted to see whether a Super Saiyan would appear among the Saiyans. After all, his ancestor had been defeated by a Saiyan, and Frieza wanted to personally return that humiliation to them!

It showed their destination as Earth, so he knew this was the trip he and Nappa had taken to find the Dragon Balls after Raditz's death.

"Other people who get transported to another world either have a system or an old man who comes along with them. What about me? Where's my cheat?" Vegeta wondered.

"Ding. This system is currently merging with the rules of this plane. Please wait." A cold, mechanical voice suddenly rang out in his mind.

"Here it comes, here it comes! My cheat has arrived! System, how long will the merge take? And what kind of system are you?" Vegeta asked excitedly.

"Please wait, host. The merge will take five months. Once it is complete, this system will provide the abilities best suited to help you improve your strength. You'll find out what kind of system it is after the merge." The cold mechanical voice fell silent.

"Five months. I've already been traveling for seven months, and it'll take another five to reach Earth. The timing's perfect. That's right, in the original story, they arrived a year later, too. Kakarot, just you wait! Since I've crossed into this world, you can have the eternal runner-up spot!" Vegeta said viciously.

At the end of Snake Way in Hell sat a planet that looked as small as a ball. That was King Kai's Planet!

A muscular young man about 1.8 meters tall was chasing a monkey-like pet named Bubbles. The young man was Sun Wukong. Perhaps King Kai secretly resented Beerus for destroying his planet, which was why he'd given the pet such a petty name. If the God of Destruction Beerus found out, he'd probably destroy King Kai along with it!
