Inside the massive estate, within a sprawling laboratory, Bulma paced back and forth in front of a spherical spacecraft. Dr. Briefs studied the parameters on his computer, exclaiming in surprise, "Such advanced technology! Despite its small volume, the cabin is fully equipped with all the substances necessary for human survival. It even allows for a hibernation mode to lower vital signs, achieving the goal of sustaining life without the need for food or water!"

"Dad, of course it's advanced. This is alien technology; Earth hasn't even begun to explore the cosmos yet." Bulma replied to her father while continuing her modifications.

Korin Tower

"Hey, Yajirobe. Take these Senzu Beans to Goku so he can recover quickly. If anyone can keep Vegeta in check, it's probably only Goku! If you eat them on the way, I don't mind letting Vegeta come pay you a visit," Korin said to the chubby man sitting on the floor.

"Fine! I'll deliver them. I don't want to see that Saiyan anyway; he's too terrifying!" Yajirobe grumbled.

As he spoke, he tossed out a Hoi-Poi Capsule. With a "pop," an exquisite aircraft appeared. When his barrel-shaped body climbed aboard, the craft nearly sank to the ground.

Hospital

Krillin and Master Roshi had already left, leaving only Gohan and Chi-Chi behind.

Gohan sat at his desk, acting like a well-behaved child doing his homework. Despite being a Saiyan hybrid, his dream was to become a great scholar. Perhaps his Saiyan bloodline only granted him a powerful physique, but not the will of a warrior race. That was why he would eventually devolve into Scholar Gohan; otherwise, there would be no room for Vegeta or Sun Wukong to shine.

In the Majin Buu arc, after the Old Kai unlocked his potential, he could suppress Super Buu with one hand. Yet, Sun Wukong's Super Saiyan 3 form could barely trade blows with Fat Buu, and seemed unable to defeat him.

But a powerful expert had been ground down into Scholar Gohan by his mother and his woman. Does a woman really affect a man's speed in drawing his sword?

Chi-Chi looked at Sun Wukong with heartache. He was wrapped in a machine that looked like a cultivation tank, swaddled like a mummy. The doctor stood nearby, remarking, "It's truly miraculous. With every bone in his body shattered, he's still alive, and his spirit is as vigorous as ever. If this were an ordinary person, the grass would already be growing on their grave." The doctor was quite the comedian.

Before the words had even faded, a creature thicker than the doorway pushed the door open sideways. Everyone looked closely—it was Yajirobe!

With a flick of his finger, a green bean flew into Sun Wukong's mouth. "Sun Wukong, this is a Senzu Bean Korin asked me to bring you!" Sun Wukong swallowed it.

The doctor shouted anxiously, "Hey, hey, hey... what did you feed him? He can't eat anything right now! This will..." Before he could finish, Sun Wukong leaped to the floor. With a loud shout, the bandages covering his body snapped instantly. His bare, muscular frame had fully recovered! The doctor's jaw dropped in shock, while the nurse behind him covered her eyes with her hands, her cheeks flushing red. Who knows what wicked thoughts were running through her head! Haha.

Chi-Chi tearfully hugged Sun Wukong, saying, "Goku, you're finally better. I was so worried about you..."

Sun Wukong, with his lack of emotional intelligence, hugged Chi-Chi with one arm while scratching the back of his head with the other. "Chi-Chi, where's my gi? I need to go train. Vegeta has already gone to the Lookout; he must be looking for the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. I've been there before! If I don't catch up when he comes out, I'll be left far behind."

Chi-Chi scolded him, "You jerk! I'm so worried about you, taking care of you, and the first thing you want to do when you're better is go train!" As she spoke, she let go of him, walked to the cabinet, took out an orange gi, and handed it to him.

"Alright, Chi-Chi. I'm already better, aren't I? Don't worry," Sun Wukong said while putting on his clothes.

"Dad, I want to go too. I want to fight," Gohan said, looking at Sun Wukong with a determined gaze.

"You are not allowed to go, Gohan. You focus on your studies and become a great scholar! I can't control your father, but I won't let you follow in his footsteps!" Chi-Chi snapped.

Gohan's eyes welled up with tears. Thinking of Uncle Piccolo's disappointment, he felt a surge of grievance. He shouted at Chi-Chi, "Mom, I hate you!" and ran out.

Chi-Chi stared at the fleeing Gohan, frozen in place. She muttered to herself, "Gohan, you've gone bad; you actually dare to yell at me now." She turned to the awkward Sun Wukong and scolded, "It's all your fault! It's all because of you that Gohan has become like this. Since we got married, you haven't cared about the house or earned a single cent. I wanted to raise Gohan to be successful, but now he's ruined because of you!"

Chi-Chi wiped her tears and sobbed as she berated Sun Wukong. She had been married to him for five years, and he hadn't provided a single penny for the family. He was a bottomless pit for food, forcing them to live in the mountains, relying on the land for survival. Every day he only knew how to train, and he had even been dead for a year in between! The heavy pressure and the responsibility of raising Gohan had caused Chi-Chi to age rapidly. She hadn't even bought cosmetics in years!

Sun Wukong looked at Chi-Chi, completely at a loss, and could only weakly say, "I'm sorry, Chi-Chi. I'll go find Gohan and make him apologize to you!"

Sun Wukong was a single-celled organism, and his best strategy was to run away!

Chi-Chi felt utterly disappointed in him.

After Sun Wukong went outside, he saw Gohan squatting by a crooked tree and walked over slowly. He patted Gohan's head and said, "Gohan, you shouldn't talk to your mother like that. She's worried about you! She doesn't want anything to happen to you! After all, seeing your father injured like that really scared her."

"But Dad, I want to go to Namek too. I want to help," Gohan said, looking at his father with determined eyes.

"Fine, as long as you can convince your mother, I have no objections!" Sun Wukong said.

After the great battle, he had heard what Piccolo said after Vegeta and Bulma left, and he also wanted to see Piccolo's homeland and fight powerful aliens. He didn't know yet that Frieza was already on his way to Namek.

Lookout

Inside the Hyperbolic Time Chamber! Only an hour or two had passed in the outside world, but over ten days had gone by inside.

In a clearing, Piccolo was locked in combat with Vegeta. Vegeta unleashed his Prince Tactics against Piccolo, who dodged the incoming energy waves with high-speed movement. Piccolo pressed his fingers to his forehead, charging up energy. It was his signature technique: the Special Beam Cannon.

Time ticked by, and Piccolo had finished charging. While dodging, he aimed at Vegeta, seized the gap in Vegeta's next attack, and roared, "Take this... Hah!" A beam of light, not particularly thick but surrounded by yellow energy spiraling like a spring, surged toward Vegeta.

Vegeta sneered, "Hmph, I don't even need to dodge a move like this!" Despite his tough talk, his body tensed slightly. He solemnly raised one hand, palm facing the beam, preparing to take it head-on.

Chairman Mao once said: despise the enemy strategically, but respect the enemy tactically!

Piccolo shouted, "Don't underestimate me! My strength has increased significantly over these past two days. Try taking this—if you die, that's on you!"

Neither would yield in their verbal sparring, but Piccolo poured his full power into the attack. The beam struck Vegeta's palm, and a powerful piercing force pushed Vegeta back, unable to stop his retreat. The burning sensation in his palm made Vegeta feel excited.

As the dust settled, Vegeta's palm smelled of scorched flesh. Piccolo was panting heavily.

"Not bad. In such a short time, your combat power has risen from around 2,000 to 15,000. You're stronger than Sun Wukong now. But don't let your guard down; if he recovers from his severe injuries, his power will increase drastically. We Saiyans always have our potential explode after recovering from the brink of death!" Vegeta said.

"Why help me?" Piccolo asked.

"Don't overthink it. This Prince just wants a good whetstone for future battles. You count as one, and Kakarot counts as another," Vegeta said with a haughty air.

"Also, when you go to Namek, ask your kin. Perhaps your race has an extraordinary origin, after all, you can create magical things like the Dragon Balls," Vegeta added.

"Hey, Vegeta, thanks..." Piccolo said reluctantly.

He felt grateful in his heart; after all, he had been given a path to catch up to Goku. Defeating Sun Wukong was also Piccolo's obsession.

"Alright, next, it's my turn to train. I've learned those methods of controlling and stabilizing energy you taught me! Fighting you no longer increases my strength. Train on your own; leave whenever you want!" Vegeta said.

"Fine. Don't worry about me. I have my own training methods," Piccolo said.

Piccolo sat cross-legged, folded his arms, closed his eyes, and floated in the air to meditate.

Outside, Goku had already brought Gohan to the Lookout. Gohan later apologized to Chi-Chi and explained the situation at length; having no other choice, Chi-Chi eventually agreed.

The Guardian of Earth asked, "Are you here to train as well?"

"Yes, Guardian, I intend to take Gohan to train too," Goku replied!

The Guardian said, "Then you will have to wait over ten hours. Vegeta and Piccolo just went in a short while ago, and they set a duration of one day!"

"Piccolo went in too? Alright then. Hey, Mr. Popo, you're here too! I'm starving—could you prepare something for me to eat?" Goku said, looking at Mr. Popo as he approached!

"Very well. Please, follow me," Mr. Popo said.

Goku and Gohan followed Mr. Popo toward the dining hall!

In deep space, a massive fleet of starships was flying toward Namek. Inside the largest ship at the center of the formation, a refined figure sat upon a small, delicate hover-pod, swirling a glass of red wine in his hand. He asked his subordinate, "How much longer until we arrive? This King can hardly wait!" The thought of fulfilling his wish for immortality left him brimming with excitement.

"Reporting to Lord Frieza, it will still take four months to arrive!" a soldier replied in terror!

Swish. A beam of purple light pierced through the soldier's chest. "Increase our speed. Give it everything you have," Frieza said in an evil voice.

The terrified subordinates scrambled to their tasks, and the speed increased another notch. It was estimated that it would take at least three months at best!
