West City.
Morning! A chaotic battlefield, with undergarments strewn about. Vegeta slowly opened his eyes, looking at the woman he had just conquered. She was clinging to him, fast asleep in an uninhibited posture. Looking down, one could still catch a glimpse of her plump, rounded buttocks. The room was warm, and the quilt had been kicked aside.
Since you have become my woman, Vegeta secretly vowed to himself, I will never let you suffer any grievances!
Bulma's eyes darted beneath her lids, signaling she was about to wake. As she opened them and met Vegeta's doting gaze, a warmth spread through her heart.
Vegeta looked at the waking Bulma and said, "Rest a while longer; I'll go get you some breakfast. Smack..." He didn't forget to pat those proud, rounded curves as he stood up.
The moment Vegeta stepped out, a mechanical voice rang in his mind: "Congratulations to the host for completing the mission. The reward has been issued!" This was a program set before the system went into hibernation.
A surge of majestic energy flooded Vegeta's entire body, and his muscles swelled slightly. The bottleneck that had been blocking his progress shattered instantly. He had broken through. Because the system was dormant, he couldn't see the interface, but Vegeta could feel that his combat power had more than doubled compared to just a moment ago—reaching approximately 700,000.
His body also felt a mysterious, indescribable heat spreading through his limbs; it was the S-Cell Booster. Each dose increased his power by twenty percent, and this reward had provided two. Combined with his previous levels, he should be at about seventy-five percent now.
With 700,000 combat power, he could reach 3.5 million after unleashing the Killing Intent Fist. Although he still couldn't defeat Frieza, he was on the verge of breaking through to Super Saiyan. The gap wasn't too wide anymore, and besides, Mr. Popo was going to teach him divine techniques. With three months left, it should be enough.
Vegeta brought breakfast to Bulma. Upon entering the room, he saw that she was already fully dressed, perhaps fearing that Vegeta might "whip" her again.
"Bulma, how long will it take to modify the spaceship? The original program contains the coordinates for Namek. How long will it take to get there once you're done?" Vegeta asked.
Bulma limped to the dining table, eating her breakfast as she replied, "Based on your original ship, it would take a year. But after my modifications, it will take at most 15 days to arrive! The Gravity Chamber is the most troublesome part; without enough alien materials, I'll have to dismantle your companion's ship to upgrade yours."
"That's fine, 15 days is enough! There's still plenty of time. Try to finish within a month; I need to train for another month. We'll depart in the third month. As for the Gravity Chamber, make sure it's done right! Can you set the upper limit to 1000x?"
"What? 1000x? I originally planned for only 300x. 1000x—can your body even handle that?" Bulma exclaimed in shock.
"300x doesn't do much for me anymore. Besides, don't you know how strong my body is? Should I let you experience it again?" Vegeta teased.
For the Vegeta of the past, with his immense pride, he might not have spoken this way. But this man was now an outstanding young man from China, and he wouldn't miss a chance to flirt!
"No... no more... I can't take it. Let me recover; it still hurts to walk!" Bulma waved her hands repeatedly, her face turning bright red.
"Haha... just teasing you! Eat up, then take the day off. No rush, we have plenty of time. I'm heading to the Lookout!" Vegeta laughed.
"Alright, remember to come back tonight?" Bulma blurted out. She immediately regretted it, and seeing the playful look in the man's eyes, she explained, "Don't get any ideas! I'm just afraid you'll starve to death out there. You eat so much—who else but me could support you?"
It seemed the great Saiyan Prince had started living off a woman! Haha!
Vegeta said, "Don't worry, I wouldn't dream of neglecting a beautiful flower like you!" Bulma felt a surge of joy. Hearing her lover's praise made her incredibly happy. With those words, Vegeta vanished, flying toward the Lookout.
Bulma watched the departing Vegeta with infatuation, sighing deeply in her heart, "I used to think all Saiyans were cold-blooded demons, or simple-minded idiots like Goku! I never expected Vegeta to be such a domineering yet tender and caring Saiyan." Her thoughts swirled, and the lingering attachment she had for Yamcha slowly faded away.
Lookout.
The Guardian of Earth sensed Vegeta approaching at high speed. Feeling that aura, which had grown even more powerful, he couldn't help but sigh, "Stronger again. He changes day by day."
Piccolo, however, maintained an expression of indifference. In the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, he had already grown accustomed to Vegeta's monstrous nature.
At this moment, Goku and Gohan emerged from the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. They walked out slowly, their clothes in tatters, their powerful auras intermingling. As soon as they stepped out, Goku shouted, "Mr. Popo, can you get us some food? I'm starving!" Although the chamber had basic necessities, the father and son had barely managed to survive on them, and the food they made tasted terrible. They hadn't had a proper meal in a year!
Gohan walked toward Piccolo.
"Uncle Piccolo, can you give me an outfit exactly like yours?" Gohan asked.
Piccolo looked at Gohan, who had changed significantly. "Hmph..." With a surge of magic from his palm, Gohan was suddenly clad in the same turban and white cape as him.
Vegeta arrived at the Lookout just then. Looking at Goku, he asked, "Kakarot, how is it? Do you have the confidence to beat me now?"
Goku mumbled with his mouth full, "Mmm... I... still... not..."
"Shut up and swallow before you speak..." Vegeta said with a grimace.
Goku gulped down a massive pork knuckle and took a sip of water. "...I'm not sure. I thought I might be on par with you, but I can feel that you've become much stronger than when you first came out!"
"Hmph, I am the Prince of all Saiyans. Don't try to measure me with the potential of a low-class warrior," Vegeta said haughtily.
"But if I use the Kaio-ken now, I might be able to put up a fight. Want to try?" Goku said excitedly.
"Save your strength. On Namek, there are aliens even stronger than me. Frieza—and he's the bastard who destroyed our planet," Vegeta said bitterly.
"Is that so? Stronger than you? Then I have to go even more..." Goku's battle-hungry blood surged. The thought of fighting someone powerful made him increasingly excited.
"Goku, come with me. I have something to tell you!..." The elderly Guardian of Earth led Goku toward a secluded spot.
The Guardian whispered something to Goku, leaving him with a look of astonishment. After speaking, the Guardian walked toward Piccolo.
"Let us merge, Piccolo. Take me to see our ancestral home!" the Guardian said.
Piccolo stopped meditating. "That will be a fusion where I am the dominant one. Don't think about influencing me!"
"Rest assured, I couldn't influence you even if I wanted to. After all, you are far stronger than I am," the Guardian said calmly.
The Guardian extended his right palm toward Piccolo's chest, and a white aura erupted from their bodies. The Guardian transformed into a powerful, blinding white light and merged into Piccolo. About a minute later, the Guardian was gone, and Piccolo stood there, steam rising from his body as he breathed heavily.
Vegeta looked at Piccolo's powerful, still-unsettled aura and estimated that Piccolo's combat power had reached about 10 million. What a monstrous ability! All that hard work training for a year couldn't compare to the boost they got from merging!
Recalling the original plot, he remembered that after the fusion, Piccolo was supposed to be on par with Android 17. How was it only 10 million? He suddenly realized that in the original story, Piccolo had been resurrected on King Kai's Planet, arrived on Namek, merged with Nail, and fought Frieza before finally merging with the Guardian upon his return. Since many of those steps had been skipped, reaching 10 million was well within expectations.
