Namek.

This planet, once peaceful and serene, was now a scene of utter devastation caused by the Frieza Force. In just two days, they had already secured four Dragon Balls. Dodoria was currently on a rampage through a Namekian village, clutching the fifth Dragon Ball he had just seized. Beams of energy flew from his hands, cruelly slaughtering the Namekians of the entire village, including the elderly and the children.

"You broke your word! You said if we handed over the Dragon Ball, you would spare these children!" an elderly Namekian gasped, clutching his chest where a hole had been blasted through. Purple blood gushed out, and as his words faded, his life slipped away.

"Your word? It seems you Namekians have lived in peace for far too long," Dodoria sneered.

At this moment, Vegeta and the others arrived on Namek.

The group stepped out of their spaceship. Looking at the planet, which resembled Earth, they were filled with excitement. Bulma pressed a button on the ship, and it instantly transformed into a Hoi-Poi Capsule, which she tucked away. One had to admit, this technology was incredibly convenient.

Piccolo gazed at the scenery, his mind flooded with the ancient, distant memories of the Guardian of Earth. It turned out that the place where he had lived as a child looked much like Namek. No wonder he had been so reluctant to leave, even when facing the bone-chilling, extreme weather of the high wilderness back then.

"King Kai, can you hear us? How is Frieza doing?" Vegeta asked, looking up at the sky.

"He has already collected five Dragon Balls. Of the remaining two, one is with the Second Elder, Moori, and the other is with the Grand Elder," King Kai replied.

"Understood. We'll split into two groups. Bulma, Piccolo, and I will head to the Second Elder. Goku, Gohan, Krillin, you go to the Grand Elder and wait for us there," Vegeta commanded, organizing the plan.

He had a clear head, after all; who knew what kind of foolishness might happen if Goku went alone?

Hearing this, everyone complied without argument. King Kai pointed out the directions. "You should hurry. I see one of Frieza's subordinates is about to reach Moori's village!" King Kai said with concern.

"Frieza's troops have scanners. Everyone, suppress your energy levels as we move. Bulma, did you bring a plane?" Vegeta asked.

"I did! I planned to do some proper sightseeing on other planets, so I brought several models," Bulma said, pulling out a Hoi-Poi Capsule.

"We don't need one; we don't know how to fly them anyway. The Grand Elder isn't far from here, so we'll run," Goku said, then leaped away at high speed with Krillin and Gohan.

Vegeta, Piccolo, and Bulma boarded the plane and flew toward Moori's village.

Half an hour later, at Moori's village.

"What are you doing? Spare the children!" Moori cried, shielding two children behind him—one was Dende, and the other was someone whose name was never mentioned in the original story.

"Hand over the Dragon Ball and I'll spare you! Otherwise, you all die, and I'll find it myself," Dodoria threatened.

"I can give you the Dragon Ball, but let these two children leave first!" Moori pleaded.

Dodoria fired a beam of energy at the child who had curiously poked his head out to look. Instantly, the child—who looked similar to Dende—was obliterated, his face unrecognizable as he was killed on the spot.

Dodoria used the slaughter to intimidate them. "You have no right to negotiate! Hand it over now, or you all die!"

Piccolo sensed the target's location and felt another energy signature vanish. Unable to hold back any longer, he flew out of the plane, suppressing his energy as he sped toward the village.

Zarbon's scanner began to beep incessantly. He looked up toward Piccolo's position, but a moment later, the display went blank.

"What is it, Mr. Zarbon?" Frieza asked elegantly.

"Nothing, Lord Frieza. It seems the scanner is malfunctioning," Zarbon dismissed.

"Ha! My wish for eternal life is about to be fulfilled!" Frieza exclaimed, staring at the five Dragon Balls on the ground.

At the village, Piccolo had arrived. Moori looked at this tribesman he had never seen before with a puzzled expression, but he still urged, "Quick, take Dende and go! He is the only genius left in our tribe who can create Dragon Balls!"

Piccolo looked at Dende's small frame, and a faint sense of kinship stirred in his heart.

"Don't worry. With me here, no one can hurt you," Piccolo declared loudly.

Dodoria checked his scanner, which showed Piccolo's power level at around 1,500. He boasted, "Hey, hey, with a power level of 1,500, what do you have to be arrogant about? You're just coming here to die. I am a confidant of Lord Frieza, and my power level is 21,000!"

Vegeta and Bulma arrived just then. They stepped out and stood behind Piccolo.

Dodoria looked at Vegeta in surprise. "Vegeta, when did you get here? Have you betrayed Lord Frieza? You have some nerve!"

"Frieza? I will kill him with my own hands to avenge the destruction of Planet Vegeta!" Vegeta declared.

He looked at the pink, bloated man with the pockmarked face—it was disgusting. He added mockingly, "Before that, you should first endure Piccolo's wrath! I forgot to tell you, he is a Namekian who grew up on Earth! His power level cannot be detected by your scanner!"

Dodoria felt a jolt of fear. It seemed the threat he had sensed earlier wasn't just his imagination. His eyes darted around as he plotted an escape route, and he shouted, "Get him! Kill them all!" while he himself turned to flee in a panic.

Piccolo glared at the mob of grunts. With a slight narrowing of his eyes, he unleashed a surge of soul energy that couldn't be sensed. The grunts clutched their heads and died in agony, their faces twisted in pain; the gap in strength was simply too vast.

Vegeta moved at high speed to intercept the fleeing Dodoria. With a wave of his hand, he sent an invisible blast of air that knocked Dodoria back in front of Piccolo.

"He's yours. Finish him," Vegeta told Piccolo.

Piccolo stomped down on Dodoria's head, and instantly, fluids sprayed everywhere as the head was reduced to a pile of pulp.

Calming his inner rage, Piccolo turned to Moori. "Hey, hurry up and take the Dragon Ball. Come with us to the Grand Elder!"

"So you are the Namekian the Grand Elder spoke of who was on Earth. I never expected you to be so powerful!" Moori said with relief.

"Enough talk, let's go. That guy Zarbon is already on his way. It seems he detected the power level reading from Dodoria," Vegeta said impatiently.

Bulma, meanwhile, was in the back, retching violently. Although she had seen them fight before, seeing a head explode was truly sickening.

Vegeta scooped Bulma up by the waist and flew into the sky, while Piccolo took the remaining Dende and Moori. They flew toward the Grand Elder at full speed, their bodies erupting with powerful energy as they streaked through the air like light.

Zarbon stared at his shattered scanner in terror, wondering if it had truly malfunctioned. Upon reaching the scene and seeing the dead Dodoria, he sped back to report.

Less than three minutes later, Vegeta, Piccolo, and the others arrived in front of the Grand Elder's house.

Nail stepped out of the room and said, "Honored guests, please enter. The Grand Elder is already aware of your arrival."

Vegeta and the others went inside and saw the Grand Elder breathing heavily. Goku and the others were radiating powerful energy; it seemed the Grand Elder had already unlocked their potential.

Vegeta asked Bulma for a Senzu Bean and tossed it into the Grand Elder's mouth. "Eat this. It won't extend your lifespan, but it will ensure you have plenty of stamina and health."

The Grand Elder swallowed it, his entire body shuddering. It was as if he had regained his youth! His aura slowly stabilized, and he said gratefully, "Thank you, Saiyan. Come here! Let me help you unleash your potential!"

"You can't, Grand Elder! You are already at your limit!" Nail said worriedly.

"It is fine, Nail. Unleashing potential will not shorten my lifespan; it just makes me a little tired. Besides, this guest has already given me a miraculous bean, and I feel clearer than ever, with plenty of stamina," the Grand Elder explained.

Vegeta walked over first, and the Grand Elder slowly placed his massive palm on top of Vegeta's head. A magical energy spread throughout his body, and as his potential erupted, the final bottleneck of the Super Saiyan transformation shattered! He could now transform, and his combat power surged to 20 million.

Once Vegeta was finished, Piccolo walked over. The Grand Elder looked at the man before him and said slowly, "So, you are the child of Katatz. No wonder you can create Dragon Balls! Katatz was the most brilliant genius of our Dragon Clan! I never expected he would leave behind a bloodline."

He placed his palm on Piccolo's head as well, developing his potential. Sensing Piccolo's strength, he couldn't help but be shocked! He then said, "What immense power. There is no Namekian on Namek more powerful than you! I cannot help you much, as you have already developed to your absolute limit."

Piccolo finished as well. His combat power rose from 11 million to around 20 million. Goku's power also increased to 5 million.

Krillin and Gohan were next; one went from over 5,000 to over 20,000, and the other from 20,000 to around 50,000.

"Grand Elder, please try to help my wife as well," Vegeta said.

"What? She... isn't she an Earthling? And not even of the combat type?" the Grand Elder asked in surprise.

"Please, take a look. I have always felt she is different from other Earthlings," Vegeta explained.

Bulma looked at Vegeta with confusion, but she did not refuse. After all, what girl could turn down the wish to fly through the sky?

"Very well, I shall try!" The Grand Elder reached his palm toward the top of Bulma's head.

A wave of green energy erupted from Bulma's body. Her combat power rose from a negligible few points to around 1,500. Feeling the power surging through her, Bulma jumped up in excitement, but she lost control and shot toward the ceiling, punching a large hole right through it! Vegeta flew up and caught her in a princess carry, bringing her back down.

"You've just started, so you obviously can't control your strength yet. Stop jumping around—what if you get hurt?" His gentle voice made Bulma blush a deep red.

"I see... her ancestors were likely not Earthlings either. In her bloodline, I see traces of the ancient Elf Race. That race was much like ours—a kind people who loved nature. However, they were wiped out long ago for unknown reasons," the Grand Elder explained to everyone.

"No wonder Bulma's mother still looks like a beautiful young girl even though she's over 50!" Krillin and Goku finally realized.

"That is correct. In their Elf Race, the body does not change much from birth until death, and they have very long lifespans. However, her bloodline has been diluted over many generations. If she hadn't met me, this ability to remain forever young would likely have slowly faded away," the Grand Elder explained.

Vegeta recalled the anime. No wonder Bulma would secretly search for the Dragon Balls later on to wish to be five years younger! Her mother had always looked the same. It turned out the bloodline was slowly diluting.

Still, one had to admire their genes; they could even alter the powerful Saiyan genes. Their future son's hair would turn purple because of Bulma's genes...

Ding! "System repair complete. Congratulations to the host: S-Cells increased to 100%!"
