"I'll have a look," Kusu said.
Vegeta didn't think much of it and handed her the Communicator.
Kusu took the Communicator and pretended to give it a careful inspection.
"Oh my, it really is broken," Kusu said, nodding as if she knew what she was talking about.
"Fix it," Vegeta said.
"Well... even if I fix it, you'll only be able to contact me," Kusu lied, then explained, "It's powered by Angel Power. Vados's Angel Power leaked out of the Communicator by accident, which is why you couldn't contact her. If I repair it, I can only infuse it with my own Angel Power, so I'll be the only one you can contact from now on."
Vegeta looked puzzled.
Do you think I'm an idiot?
Angel Power can leak out?
Is Angel Power really that easy to leak?
"Look, there's a crack here. You might have accidentally damaged it when you released your energy," Kusu said. She lightly tapped it with her finger, creating a crack, then pointed it out to Vegeta.
Vegeta leaned closer to take a look.
Sure enough, there was a tiny crack that was hard to notice.
"Angels never lie," Kusu said with a smile.
"Angel Power can leak out that easily? Even if it were filled with water, could it all leak out so quickly through a crack this small?" Vegeta asked, unconvinced.
"Oh my, you can think of Angel Power as energy that's been compressed under tremendous pressure. In a sealed container like this, if a crack forms, the pressure inside will force the Angel Power out very quickly, and then it'll disappear," Kusu said with conviction.
Vegeta understood.
It sounded a bit like a gas cylinder.
If even a tiny crack appeared, the liquefied gas inside would immediately start leaking and evaporate in no time.
"Fine. Fix it, and I don't mind if you change it so I can contact you instead. It might come in handy someday," Vegeta replied.
"Mr. Vegeta, you're on our planet, and we're together every day. There's no need for this Communicator, is there?" Kusu said with a smile.
"It'll come in handy someday," Vegeta said.
"Kusu, what's taking you so long?" Rumsshi said, unable to listen any longer.
Just give him a Communicator.
Then he wouldn't get suspicious.
"All right, I'll fix it," Kusu said with a nod. She covered Vados's Angel Power with her own and repaired the crack while she was at it.
Then Kusu handed the Communicator back to Vegeta.
Vegeta pressed the button on it.
"Kusu, are you there?" Vegeta asked.
Then Vegeta saw the Scepter in Kusu's hand flash a few times.
Kusu: "..."
I'm right beside you!
Do you really have to ask if I'm here?
"Kusu, say something," Vegeta said.
Kusu silently wiped away her sweat.
"Received," she replied helplessly.
"Mm, I heard you. That proves this thing works pretty well." Vegeta nodded in satisfaction and put the Communicator away.
Kusu let out a quiet sigh of relief.
I got away with it.
He won't suspect anything now, right?
"By the way, Kusu, this Communicator works no matter where you put it, right?" Vegeta asked.
"That's right," Kusu said, nodding.
"Good." Vegeta smiled faintly.
"So, what are you planning to do now?" Kusu asked. "Vados won't be able to come back for a while."
"Ask her when she'll be back. I want a definite time," Vegeta replied.
"She said she won't have time for the next two years," Kusu answered. "The Grand Minister has an important task for her. It might take at least two years, or even longer."
Vegeta: "..."
Vegeta silently cursed Vados from head to toe.
How shameless.
You just left me here?
Well, it's fine.
Training is training, no matter who I do it with.
This little loli Kusu seems pretty good, too.
"Do you want to stay here and keep waiting for her, or do you have something else in mind?" Kusu asked.
"If you ask me, why go to Universe 6? Cook us some good food, and I'll teach you God of Destruction Technique," Rumsshi said.
"Are you serious?" Vegeta asked.
"What's there to be serious about? It's not that difficult. Teaching you won't take much effort," Rumsshi snorted. "Of course, that's assuming you've got decent talent. I don't want to teach you for ages only to find you can't learn a thing... I don't have that much patience."
"What about you, Kusu? Can you teach me?" Vegeta asked her.
"Sure. Just cook us some good food, and I'll teach you," Kusu said, laying out her terms.
"Fine, it's settled, then," Vegeta said. "How about this: I'll train with Rumsshi on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and with you on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Sound good?"
Kusu: "..."
Rumsshi: "..."
"Kid, I don't think you understand the situation," Rumsshi said irritably. "Kusu and I follow different training paths. Kusu is an angel, and she trains in Ultra Instinct. No, to be precise, she was born knowing Ultra Instinct! Ultra Instinct is a special technique for instinctively avoiding danger. I'm a God of Destruction, and I train in God of Destruction Technique. It's an overwhelmingly powerful form of Destruction Energy, focused mainly on destruction."
"What does that matter?" Vegeta asked calmly.
"Of course it matters. You need to focus on one," Rumsshi snorted. "If you try to do both at once, you'll end up mastering neither."
"Let's do it my way first. I want to see which one I'm better suited to learning," Vegeta said thoughtfully.
"Kid, did you not hear a word I said?" Rumsshi's expression darkened.
This kid was pretty headstrong.
That would've been fine on its own.
But what kind of plan was this?
God of Destruction Technique on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
Ultra Instinct on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
"All right, we can give it a try," Kusu said, winking at Rumsshi.
Rumsshi said no more.
After all, we were doing this for the food.
If you want to try it, go ahead.
Actually, this works out pretty well.
Teaching him every other day is less trouble than doing it every day.
"Then what about Sundays?" Kusu asked with a smile.
"I'll rest on Sundays," Vegeta replied. "You need to balance training with rest. If you train nonstop without taking a break, all you're doing is making your body suffer."
"When do you want to start?" Kusu asked.
"What day is tomorrow?" Vegeta asked.
