"Okay." Kusu nodded and asked, "Are you sure you don't need to rest?"
"No need." As Vegeta spoke, he charged at Kusu again, pushing his energy to its limit and unleashing a barrage of punches and kicks.
About ten minutes passed.
Vegeta hadn't even managed to touch Kusu's clothes.
"Huff, huff, huff..."
In those ten minutes, Vegeta had used up almost all his energy. He panted heavily.
"You can rest for a bit now, right?" Kusu said with a smile.
"Sure." Vegeta nodded.
"This is so boring... You two carry on. I'm going to take a nap." After watching the two of them fight, Rumsshi decided it was unbearably dull.
As far as Rumsshi was concerned, Vegeta's fighting ability was still far too low.
Although Vegeta's power level had reached ten million,
it was still insignificant in the presence of a God of Destruction.
Rumsshi stretched, then headed into the castle to rest.
"Kusu, why don't you have some milk tea while you rest?" Vegeta took the milk tea ingredients out of his Storage Ring and made Kusu a cup.
Kusu: "..."
Lord Rumsshi really has it rough.
He'd only just left, and now I get to have milk tea.
Kusu savored the milk tea, enjoying the delicious flavor on her tongue.
After resting for a while, Vegeta had recovered some of his energy. He immediately resumed his fierce battle with Kusu.
Once Vegeta had used up all his energy again, Kusu explained some of the finer points of Ultra Instinct to him.
Vegeta listened attentively and learned a great deal.
That evening, Vegeta gave Kusu and Rumsshi a can of peaches each, which was enough to send them on their way.
Even so, Kusu and Rumsshi were delighted as they ate.
Universe 6.
God of Destruction Realm.
Vados had returned from Universe 7.
"Vados, where is he? You didn't bring that brat Vegeta back?" Champa asked in confusion. "Did he not like the canned peaches?"
"It's a long story." Vados sighed.
"How is it a long story? Tell me what happened." Champa asked.
"Well, it's a long story... So I'll just give Lord Champa a brief summary." Vados replied.
Champa: "..."
It's a long story, and you're going to give me a brief summary...
Vados immediately told Champa everything that had happened to Vegeta, without leaving anything out.
She also told him about Merus.
"What? Vegeta was destroyed by that bastard Rumsshi!" Champa was so angry his teeth hurt. "That shameless jerk!"
"There was nothing we could do. Apparently, Mr. Vegeta provoked him first." Vados sighed.
"Damn it! My canned peaches!" Champa clenched his fists, then asked, "But speaking of which, Vados, were those canned peaches any good?"
"They really were delicious. It's a shame I'll never get to have them again." Vados shook her head.
"That bastard Rumsshi! I'm going to settle the score with him!" Champa ground his teeth.
"Lord Champa probably isn't a match for Lord Rumsshi, is he?" Vados said with a smile.
Champa: "..."
Champa immediately backed down.
He really couldn't beat Rumsshi.
"Fine. I'll train for a while, then go settle the score with him." Champa snorted.
"I suppose that's the end of Vegeta's story. Perhaps it was simply his fate." Vados said with a sigh.
"Hmph, it's that brat's own fault for being so arrogant. I'm the one with the good temper." Champa grumbled. "If he'd run into Rumsshi, with that short temper of his, he would've destroyed Vegeta without a word..."
"Yes, yes..." Vados sighed. "It was my fault, too. I should've told Mr. Vegeta who we were sooner."
"But Vados... why do I feel like something's not quite right?" Champa rested his chin in his hand, deep in thought.
"What do you mean, Lord Champa?" Vados asked.
"Could Rumsshi have deliberately deceived us? Maybe he wanted to keep Vegeta around and have him make canned peaches." Champa mused. "So he came up with this excuse about destroying him."
"I doubt it." Vados shook her head. "Even if Lord Rumsshi lied to us, surely Sister Kusu wouldn't lie to me?"
"Quick, use your Scepter to see if that brat Vegeta is still alive," Champa suggested.
"All right. I don't think Sister Kusu would lie to me." Although Vados said this, she still took out her Scepter and searched for Vegeta in Universe 10.
Three minutes passed in a flash.
"He's not there. He really has disappeared." Vados shook her head.
"What about the Communicator you gave Vegeta? Try contacting it," Champa suggested again.
"Lord Rumsshi must have destroyed the Communicator along with him, right? So it shouldn't respond." Vados replied, then used her Scepter to contact the Communicator.
Sure enough, there was no response.
"Do you believe me now, Lord Champa?" Vados said with a smile. "I don't think Sister Kusu would lie to me."
"What a shame, what a shame." Champa ground his teeth. "I didn't even get to taste those canned peaches!"
"Well... you'll just have to imagine what they taste like, Lord Champa." Vados replied.
Champa: "..."
Universe 10, God of Destruction Realm.
The next morning.
"Brat, today I'm going to teach you. I'll show you what a God of Destruction Technique is." Rumsshi grinned.
I've finally got the chance to teach this brat a lesson.
I've disliked him from the start.
"First, I'll give you a simple explanation of destruction." Rumsshi said with a smile. "Put simply, destruction erases a target completely, reducing it from one to zero. Do you understand what I mean?"
"I understand." Vegeta nodded.
"Destruction!"
Rumsshi lightly waved his hand toward a rock.
A wave of purplish-red energy instantly enveloped the rock.
"Pop!"
The rock turned into nothingness and disappeared completely.
"Did you see that? That's destruction." Rumsshi said smugly. "No matter how powerful your opponent is, this move will finish them off."
"Not bad." Vegeta nodded.
Rumsshi: "..."
"Brat, why do you look so unfazed?" Rumsshi felt like he wasn't getting any satisfaction out of this.
"I know you're strong, so there's nothing to be surprised about." Vegeta replied.
"Forget it. I've already explained how destruction works. Now, attack me with all your strength." Rumsshi beckoned him over.
"Okay." Vegeta didn't object. His energy erupted wildly.
Then Vegeta transformed into a streak of light and shot toward Rumsshi.
