Vegeta trained with Kusu every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
While training with Kusu, Vegeta gradually converted and applied the energy he had gained from training with Rumsshi.
He made that energy flow seamlessly through his body.
In this way, Vegeta's strength continued to grow.
Before he knew it, Vegeta's base combat power had reached 10 to the 40th power.
It was an enormous number.
Vegeta realized he had reached his limit after dying and coming back to life.
As long as he drank another two jin of Ultra Divine Water, he would break through that limit.
Then he could keep increasing his combat power using the same method.
It was this way that Vegeta had raised his combat power to 10 to the 40th power.
Rumsshi's combat power was 10 to the 47th power.
By now, even Rumsshi was having a hard time keeping up with him.
Rumsshi had to be careful to handle him.
Now, the slightest lapse in attention meant he would get hit.
Before, they had only been playing around.
Rumsshi couldn't help feeling overwhelmed just thinking about it.
What have I been through these past nine years?
This kid's strength had skyrocketed like a rocket.
At this rate, one day he would surpass me.
"Um... I don't have anything left to teach you. You've learned everything you needed to over the years. From here on, you'll have to figure out the rest on your own." Rumsshi sighed helplessly.
"Sure. In any case, I should thank you for being my teacher." Vegeta smiled.
"But now that I think about it, you haven't grown at all in the nine years that have passed." Rumsshi sighed. "You're not going to stay this short forever, are you?"
"It doesn't matter." Vegeta smiled faintly.
Vegeta had barely grown at all in those nine years.
His appearance had hardly changed either.
Vegeta didn't care about that.
He knew this was just how Saiyans were.
Saiyans could keep looking like teenagers for a long time.
Then, after that period passed, they would suddenly grow up.
After that, Vegeta would keep the appearance of a young adult.
He probably wouldn't change much after that.
After all, thanks to a wish he had made to Shenron, Vegeta could now live for over a thousand years.
Rumsshi was speechless.
Did you really not care at all about how short you were?
"You're pretty easygoing." Rumsshi chuckled and stepped forward to pat Vegeta on the shoulder.
Without rushing, Vegeta pulled out a small notebook and a pen, opened it, and wrote down a number.
80060!
"What does that number mean, anyway?" Rumsshi couldn't help asking. Then he shook his head. "Never mind. You never tell me when I ask, so it doesn't matter."
"Thank you again for teaching me these past nine years." Vegeta bowed.
It was only proper for a disciple to show this kind of respect.
Once I've bowed, I won't have anything to do with you anymore.
"No need to thank me. Just make me another cup of milk tea." Rumsshi swung his elephant trunk.
"Sure thing." Vegeta readily agreed and made Rumsshi a cup of milk tea.
"Mr. Vegeta, I've taught you just about everything I can, too. I think you're almost ready to grasp Ultra Instinct." Kusu smiled.
"You're not going to teach me anymore, either?" Vegeta looked at Kusu. "That won't do. I'm still a long way behind you."
"You're also a long way behind Lord Rumsshi. Why is it all right for him to stop teaching you?" Kusu asked with a smile.
"Fine, whatever you two want. I'll figure out the rest on my own. I can still ask you when I run into something I don't understand, right?" Vegeta suggested.
"Of course. That's fine." Kusu nodded, without objecting.
"On one condition: you have to keep making us delicious food," Rumsshi said with a grin.
"Deal," Vegeta replied.
Over the next three years,
Vegeta began training on his own.
He would use that time to master everything he had learned over the past nine years and make it his own.
Ultra Instinct, the God of Destruction Technique...
Those all belonged to Angels and Gods of Destruction.
Saiyans had their own way of training.
It took Vegeta three whole years, but he finally converted all of it into the energy he needed.
"It's finally done." Vegeta took a deep breath.
"What? What did you finish?" Rumsshi asked, staring at Vegeta in surprise.
"Rumsshi, another three years have passed. Want to see how we measure up?" Vegeta smiled.
"Hmph, I don't think so." Rumsshi snorted. "You need to understand that no matter how hard you try, you can never beat a God of Destruction."
"Is that so?" Vegeta wore a broad smile.
"Hmph. Don't tell me you naively think you can beat me, a God of Destruction?" Rumsshi chuckled.
"Forget it. We'll talk about it another time. The time isn't right yet." Vegeta smiled as he mused, "I've been in the God of Destruction Realm for twelve years. It's time I went out and looked around. Do you have anywhere good in mind? Take me out for a spin."
"You want to go out?" Rumsshi was taken aback. "All right. I haven't been out to destroy planets in a while, either. You can come along with us."
"Sounds good." Vegeta nodded.
"Kusu, let's go," Rumsshi called.
Vegeta didn't bother with formalities. He stepped forward and wrapped his arms around Kusu from behind.
Kusu: "..."
You certainly are casual.
But Kusu didn't say anything more.
After spending twelve years with Vegeta, it would be unrealistic to say she didn't feel anything for him.
"It's time to get back to work," Rumsshi sighed. "This is a good chance for you to get familiar with the duties of a God of Destruction, Vegeta. You can take care of jobs like this yourself in the future."
"Sure thing." Vegeta readily agreed.
Agreeing was one thing.
Whether I did it or not was up to me.
"Whoosh!"
The three of them became two streaks of light, swiftly disappearing into the starry sky and appearing in the reaches of Universe 10.
After flying forward for a while longer,
Rumsshi finally stopped above a huge red planet.
"Do you see it, Vegeta?" Rumsshi pointed to the enormous red planet below and explained, "Its existence has seriously disrupted the balance of the universe, so it has to be destroyed."
"Understood." Vegeta kept his hands in his pockets and nodded. Then he extended his right hand toward the planet.
"Clap!"
Purplish-red energy gathered in Vegeta's hand.
In an instant, a ball of Destruction Energy the size of a basketball appeared in his palm.
"Destroy!"
Vegeta swung his hand downward, and the Destruction Energy shot toward the red planet below.
Rumsshi: "..."
