Combat Power Under 100? You're Worse Than My Wolf Cubs!

To reach this level of pure physical strength is already quite rare, surpassing the base stats of certain races in the Dragon Ball universe, yet compared to a Saiyan, there remains a massive gap.

Just how strong is a Saiyan's physique?

When Nappa, with a combat power of 4,000, first arrived on Earth, he was an absolute juggernaut, smashing through planes, tanks, and warships with his bare body during his confrontation with human forces.

He even took Chiaotzu's self-destruction head-on without sustaining a single scratch.

The Saiyans are called a warrior race for a reason; they can transform into Great Apes, possess high combat power from birth, and rank among the very best of all races when it comes to physical prowess.

When facing opponents of equal combat power, Saiyans crush them with their monstrous physical strength. If the opponent's combat power happens to be higher than their own?

Well, sorry, but Saiyans still have the Great Ape transformation up their sleeves—let's see how you handle me when I'm ten times stronger than you!

The Saiyans of King Vegeta's era were already in decline; the former glory of the race was long gone.

"Not even 100? I thought these Astartes were supposed to be impressive!" Leman Russ felt a hint of disappointment upon hearing this combat power.

He had originally assumed that these Astartes, whom the Emperor took such pride in, would at least have a starting combat power of five or six hundred!

As it turned out, they were stronger than the warriors of his tribe, but only to a limited extent!

They still couldn't beat this kid, Axis.

"They're actually quite good; their physical fitness is at least ten times that of an ordinary human," Axis remarked.

An ordinary human only has a combat power of 5, which is the benchmark for a strong adult male. Even Kid Goku only had a combat power of a dozen or so when he first appeared.

It was only after basic training with Master Roshi and the awakening of his Saiyan bloodline that he broke through to over 100.

"Which warrior in our tribe has a combat power lower than 10? If they haven't even passed 100, how can they be ten times stronger than an ordinary person?" Leman Russ countered.

If it were ten times, that should be at least over 100 and under 200, right? Calling this "ten times" was a bit disappointing to him!

Axis rolled his eyes at this. Do you even hear yourself?

Are you comparing the common folk on Fenris to the commoners of other worlds in the Imperium? Why don't you compare them to the Catachan Jungle Fighters instead?

"The people of Fenris generally have physical fitness two to three times higher than those in the outside world. Since an ordinary human outside only has a 5, strictly speaking, their base stats are over twelve times that of an ordinary human, perhaps even higher," Axis explained.

"But they still can't beat you!"

"That is true, they cannot beat me," Axis admitted.

"Great Primarch, have we... have we disappointed you in some way?" The Space Marines of the Sixth Legion standing nearby were left feeling bewildered.

The conversation between Axis and Leman Russ had been overheard by the nearby Space Marines.

What was going on? They had just met, and the Primarch was already dissatisfied with his own gene-sons?

What was this combat power nonsense? What did he mean their combat power wasn't even as good as a child's?

The Sixth Legion Space Marines gathered around. They had been incredibly excited to finally meet their Primarch, but hearing him say their combat power was inferior to a child's—and having that child confirm it—left a bitter taste in their mouths. They understood that the environment on this planet was harsh and that its people were formidable warriors, but to look down on the Space Marines because of it was going too far!

"Don't misunderstand, my gene-sons. I'm not targeting you; I'm saying that none of you have combat power equal to Axis. You all pale in comparison to this kid," Leman Russ said with a smile.

In his mind, there was nothing wrong with this statement, as he often lectured the warriors of his tribe the same way: "Look at you all, you can't even beat Axis when you fight together—why aren't you doubling your training every day?"

It was meant to be an encouraging remark! At least, that's how Leman Russ saw it.

But these words stung every Sixth Legion warrior present. Great Primarch, what are you saying?

Are we really that beneath your notice?

To say our combat power isn't even as high as a seven-year-old boy's?

How are we supposed to refute that? Should we go and fight this little boy? If we lose, we're humiliated; if we win, we're even more humiliated!

Axis was speechless. Are you kidding me? Russ, when did you learn the catchphrases of Master Duan Shui Liu?

Did you really have to go and hit me with an area-of-effect taunt like that?

"Great Primarch, you have lived on this backward planet and may not be aware of the situation, but we Astartes are the pride of the Master of Mankind. We are the most powerful demigod warriors of all humanity, the Emperor's Angels of Death, and your gene-sons," the lead captain of the Sixth Legion stepped forward to say.

He was the one whose combat power Axis had just measured at 93, the strongest individual among these Astartes, a veteran who had participated in the Master of Mankind's wars to unify Holy Terra.

He was one of the earliest batches of Astartes.

"I speak the truth; you are indeed no match for Axis. He is my finest little wolf cub. But don't worry, I will train you well in the future to make you even stronger. At the very least, everyone in the Legion needs to get their combat power over 100!" Leman Russ declared.

Since they were ten times stronger than an ordinary human, they would have to meet the Fenrisian standard!

"Please board the ship, Primarch! We will take good care of this battle-brother in the future. Once he officially becomes an Astartes, please be sure to let us witness his terrifying combat power." The Sixth Legion Space Marines glared at Axis with ill intent.

They wouldn't stoop to fighting a seven-year-old human boy right now, but since this child had such an extraordinary relationship with the Wolf King, he would certainly undergo the Astartes surgical modifications. Once the kid grew up, there would be plenty of time to play.

When that time came, they would be sure to teach him a lesson and show him some of the Sixth Legion's old traditions.

"Hahaha! If you're interested, I can have the boy Axis spar with you right now," Leman Russ offered.

It would be good to let Axis knock some sense into these gene-sons of his.

"Let's go! Russ, don't keep Emperor waiting; we still have some gifts to deliver to him! You Astartes over there, come over and help move these things," Axis said.

Damn you, you old schemer! Stop drawing aggro for me!

I'm still a child not even seven years old, yet you're making me bear everything that shouldn't be expected at my age.

I'm being stared down by a pack of Astartes.
