The Mystical Power of Ki, Emperor's Evaluation

Watching the white sphere of light before him, Emperor carefully wrapped it in his golden psychic power and brought it closer.

With his incomparably powerful mind, he began to probe the energy within the small white orb, and it was exactly as he had suspected.

Beyond its immense destructive potential, this white energy possessed a positive quality; it contained a life force and a sensation difficult to describe in words. The power of Ki seemed little inferior to the psychic power of the Warp.

It was an indescribable feeling—as if it were righteous energy, the breath of life, cellular vitality, a person's temperament, their aura, and their very essence.

This power called Ki seemed to belong to Axis alone. Leman Russ had previously attempted to harness it, and while Axis had indeed assisted him, the results were negligible.

"Axis, can you teach me how to refine this Ki?" Emperor asked.

This energy called Ki was far more practical than psychic power, as psychic power could not significantly enhance one's physical body.

Psychic power was not truly one's own; it was drawn from the Warp, using one's body and soul as a conduit.

Once the body could no longer withstand the strain, the psychic power would backfire, or worse, be exploited by Chaos demons and malevolent entities.

They would use one's soul and flesh to tear open a portal, flooding the material universe with a multitude of Warp horrors.

The only reason his own psychic power remained so powerful, safe, and stable was due to a unique circumstance: a terrifying entity slept within him, one that was itself a being of the Warp.

If he could acquire a power that rivaled psychic energy yet remained safer, Emperor would be more than willing.

"Of course, I can teach you, though I cannot guarantee you will master it."

Axis nodded at these words, then instructed Emperor to sit cross-legged, carefully explaining the circulation and refinement methods of Ki.

Just as he had done when teaching Leman Russ, Axis guided his own Ki through Emperor's body, allowing him to perceive the power of Ki more clearly.

Regrettably, even one as mighty as Emperor of Mankind, one of the most powerful beings in the universe, could not grasp the power of Ki.

No matter how he tried, even when Axis left a tiny seed of Ki within Emperor, that seed was like water without a source, dissipating almost instantly.

"A pity! It seems this power belongs to you alone. Use it well, child," Emperor said, looking at Axis.

"I will," Axis replied with a slight nod.

It appeared that only those from the Dragon Ball World could comprehend the power of Ki; it was a treasure he had brought with him after crossing over into the Warhammer Universe.

This was a power exclusive to the lifeforms of the Dragon Ball World; humans or other beings in the Warhammer Universe were fundamentally incapable of comprehending it.

It was a power unique to that world, much like the psychic power of the Warhammer Universe!

Saiyans could produce offspring with humans, but he wondered, if he were to have a child, would that descendant possess the power of Ki?

Axis harbored a hypothesis: perhaps the power of Ki could only be learned if one were in the Dragon Ball World.

Even if he were to procreate with a human in this universe to produce a half-Saiyan, the child would inherit the Saiyan's physical prowess, but the power of Ki would not be passed down, as the concept of Ki did not exist in this world.

By the same logic, if someone attempted to clone him using his blood, it would not succeed; the result would be nothing more than a monster with violent strength but absolutely no Ki!

Much like the Primarchs cloned by that future old physician Fabius Bile, they possessed the form and body of the Primarchs but lacked their Warp-born essence.

"Axis, have you discovered the miraculous nature of this power you call Ki? It seems capable of sustaining life," Emperor remarked.

Since this energy called Ki possessed life force, theoretically, it should be capable of excellent recovery or even healing.

"That is true! However, the healing effect is nowhere near as good as the medical tanks I provide, and it only serves to keep a person hanging on by a thread," Axis nodded and said.

Ki could indeed help a dying person cling to life, but its healing capabilities were essentially non-existent, whereas Namekians could heal through their own unique abilities.

"This unique power is the root of all things. You have only developed its destructive potential; in the future, you must attempt to explore its other functions. Believe me, this power is not as simple as you think," Emperor said.

Hearing Emperor's words, Axis nodded thoughtfully. Ki indeed had many variations. Gods possessed Ki, and perhaps the special abilities of the Namekians were merely another application of Ki?

The power of Ki was not limited to destruction. Emperor was right; he should study the power of Ki more deeply.

"Axis, have you noticed that when your Ki is injected into others and flows through their bodies, it enhances their physical constitution?" Emperor asked.

When Axis had previously injected Ki into Leman Russ, in just one year, Russ's physical constitution had increased significantly.

This had greatly astonished Emperor, for once a Primarch reached adulthood, their physical form was set—the pinnacle of humanity—and unless they awakened their Warp essence, they could only improve their combat effectiveness through honing their skills.

Yet, with the help of Axis's Ki, Leman Russ's physical constitution had grown. When Axis guided his Ki through his own body, Emperor could clearly feel the power of Ki nourishing his cells and strengthening his physique; though the effect was minute, it was undeniably present.

Therefore, while this power called Ki could not be bestowed upon others to use, Axis could use it to enhance the physical constitution of others, a fact the boy himself had failed to notice.

"??? My Ki can enhance the physical constitution of others?" Axis asked, surprised.

"Yes! Ki can enhance the physical constitution of others, albeit slowly. But you used the power of Ki to enhance Russ previously. The Primarchs I created should not have seen any further growth in physical strength after reaching adulthood, yet after coming into contact with your Ki, Russ's physical strength increased," Emperor stated.
