"I say, Caesar! Aren't we getting along quite well? You've improved your own combat techniques during our sparring sessions lately, haven't you?" Axis said.

"No. Fighting you no longer provides me with any improvement. If you wish to train, do it alone!" Caesar replied.

You have the nerve to say my combat techniques have improved? I have to hold back every single move when fighting a child like you. Plus, you can fly and fire energy blasts from the air, while I'm stripped of my Power Armor, which has weakened my combat effectiveness more than tenfold.

Fighting Axis was completely devoid of training value; he was merely acting as a one-sided punching bag.

"How about you call a colleague over?" Axis suggested.

The gap in combat power between me and a Custodian is still over 300 points! How did I manage to drive this guy into a state of self-doubt?

Could it be that the Saiyan combat genes are too potent, combined with the aid of Ki, making it impossible for this Custodian to parry?

Come on, man! You're a Custodian! Why are you acting like some washed-up uncle?

You can't even handle this little setback? How are you going to protect Emperor?

"That won't be necessary! The task assigned to me by Emperor is to protect you. As for the others, they have their own duties," Caesar said.

Call another companion over just to have him driven to self-doubt by you too?

He had already given his all without his Power Armor, yet this kid Axis could suppress him with mere hand-to-hand combat, not to mention that Ki Blast technique for long-range attacks. The combat power of the two sides was simply not proportional.

Although he had never seen a young Primarch fight, Caesar felt that even a Primarch at this age shouldn't possess such terrifying strength.

So there's absolutely no need to call other Custodians over to suffer defeat!

"How about I give you some benefits?" Axis asked.

Emperor had said that his Ki could enhance the physical fitness of others. Since it could strengthen Russ, it should be able to strengthen a Custodian, right?

"No need!" Caesar stood up, and with the help of a nearby Servitor, he donned his golden armor once more before standing motionless beside Axis.

Like a statue, he remained indifferent no matter what Axis said; he was simply done sparring with him.

"Fine! Is there any gravity-regulating equipment here? Like a room where I can adjust the gravity? I want to challenge 10x gravity," Axis asked.

Since this Custodian doesn't want to play with me, I'll just train my gravity adaptation.

The gravity on Planet Vegeta, the Saiyan homeworld, was ten times that of Earth. This was the key reason for the Saiyans' powerful physiques. Axis felt it was necessary to undergo gravity training.

"Denied!" Caesar shook his head.

Even a Primarch wouldn't dare to play around like this.

The optimal age for the Custodes Surgery was between zero and seven; the success rate dropped significantly as the age increased.

The success rate for infant modification was the highest, but even so, less than one in a hundred infants who underwent the surgery survived to become a Custodian.

For children over seven, the success rate was practically zero. However, given Axis's terrifying physical constitution, the success rate would likely reach 100%.

But even so, the boy should cherish his body, rest well, and bring himself to peak condition to receive the surgery, rather than messing around here.

"If you are so confident, it is not impossible. There is indeed a gravity chamber on this spaceship that can be adjusted up to 20x gravity." Emperor appeared in the training room, though no one knew when he had arrived.

Seeing Emperor in person, the Custodian Caesar immediately knelt on one knee.

"I did not know of your arrival, forgive my lack of preparation, great Emperor," Caesar said.

"I have only just arrived. I have been watching your battles during this time," Emperor said.

How terrifying was Emperor's psychic power? If he wished, he could cover an entire planet in an instant and know everything happening upon it.

Over the past few days, aside from handling matters of the Imperium of Man, he had been using his psychic power to observe Axis.

He was also very curious about the duel between Axis and his Custodian guard. Logically speaking, no matter how powerful Axis was or how astonishing his potential, he should absolutely not be able to defeat a Custodian at this age, even if the Custodian was not wearing Power Armor.

Custodian Caesar nodded, led Axis to a room in the training facility, opened the door, and let him enter.

"The maximum gravity here is 20x. Why don't you start by adapting to 2x?" Caesar suggested.

"No need! Just give me 10x gravity directly," Axis said, waving his small hand.

An ordinary person couldn't handle 10x gravity, but for a Saiyan, it was just like coming home.

Caesar's mouth twitched as he looked at Emperor for confirmation, and the latter nodded at him.

Caesar activated the 10x gravity. The lights in the room dimmed suddenly, and the gravity in the entire room instantly reached ten times that of Holy Terra.

Then, Axis acted as if nothing had happened; he stretched his body, jogged a lap, and hopped in place twice.

"Emperor, the gravity device might be malfunctioning. I will call a Tech-Priest to repair it," Caesar said.

This was different from what he had imagined; it must be a breakdown.

"No need. The machine is operating perfectly," Emperor said.
