Background

Beibei lost both parents at a young age and was raised beside his great-grandfather, Mu En, on Sea God Island. With no peers his own age, he was doted on by Zhang Lexuan and treated as a child by older Inner Court students. His privileged upbringing and mischievous behavior earned him the description of a “little demon king.” 4 5

His Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Martial Soul carried an incomplete Bright Sacred Dragon bloodline inherited from Mu En. Shrek located a suitable Bright Scaled Dragon so that Beibei could activate that bloodline through his first soul ring. 8

Qiangu Qitian's arrival on Sea God Island gave Beibei his first peer and rival. Their first spar ended with Beibei unable to counter the Coiling Dragon Staff and surrendering after being chased across the arena, but Beibei immediately declared Qiangu Qitian his friend afterward. 5 6

Appearance

During Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon possession, Beibei's body initially showed no beast-like transformation; deep-blue lightning instead spread from his brow over his body. 5

He is deeply protective of those he considers family. Zhang Lexuan cared for him after his parents' deaths, and he views her with maternal affection; although he accepts her relationship with Qiangu Qitian, he warns Qiangu Qitian that he will fight him if Lexuan is mistreated. 25

Beibei is unwaveringly devoted to Tang Ya, calling her the love of his life and joining the Tang Sect to help revive it.
