Ugou Mirai secretly breathed a sigh of relief. She was glad she'd sent the bodyguards away earlier. If they'd seen her get knocked down with a punch, they'd surely have gotten into a fight with him.

Soon, a long, luxurious bulletproof car pulled up in front of Ugou Mirai.

A maid about the same age as Ugou Mirai stepped out. Her delicate features made her look like an expensive doll.

The maid's brows were clear and her gaze cool, her bearing frosty. Her cherry-red lips parted, but her voice held no emotion.

"Miss, your mother asked me to take you home."

"Got it."

Ugou Mirai ducked into the car.

She'd always hated this kind of pomp, but after sneaking out on her own to have fun and getting captured by a monster, she could no longer refuse the protection her mother had arranged for her. She wasn't allowed to go out at night anymore, either. She had to go home.
