Originally just a monastic order, its scale, influence, and wealth expanded rapidly after gaining the Church's recognition, eventually developing the earliest banking systems. It evolved from a small monastic group into an armed organization with military power and participated in many famous battles.

However, by the time of the Third Crusade, the Templar Order had already declined. In 1307, under pressure from King Philip IV of France, the Pope was forced to dissolve the order, causing this armed force to vanish completely into the dust of history.

After the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse appeared, they gathered the full strength of the Foundation Church to rebuild the Templar Order.

The reborn order reached a strength of a thousand members, each one meticulously selected from over three billion believers. The entire order possessed thirty Templar Knights at or above the Ace level, and the lowest rank among the remaining knights was A+.
