Clang! Clang! Clang!

As the bell tolled once more, the entirety of Centralia Town revived yet again.

This time, Fang Cheng and Isis both stood within the town, watching with their own eyes as it was restored to its pristine state at an incredible speed, the departed residents coming back to life in their homes.

Dulu and his group of Investigators had yet to appear; they still had over ten minutes to wait.

Fang Cheng said to Isis, "I'll try to see if I can catch Richard again. Will you go keep watch inside the mine?"

Isis nodded, offering no objection to the proposal.

After the two parted ways, Fang Cheng immediately flew toward Richard's home.

Inside the two-story building, Richard sat in the living room, neither reading nor eating, but waiting quietly.

He knew that after the town revived, those two strangers would certainly come looking for him first.

Just as this thought crossed Richard's mind, Fang Cheng appeared behind him as if by teleportation, yet Richard remained completely unaware.

The second hand of the wall clock had just ticked to the number two, meaning only ten seconds had passed since the town's revival.

Fang Cheng reached out directly toward the oblivious Richard; as long as he could grab hold of his body, he could drag him into his own Subspace.

Unfortunately, the result was exactly the same as before. The moment his hand made contact, Richard's body twisted instantly and vanished into a Rift.

Fang Cheng reflexively tried to follow, simultaneously opening his own Subspace Rift in an attempt to interfere with the other party.
