Fang Cheng searched for the Soul Stabilizer to help Ye Yuqing and infiltrated the Truth Cult’s headquarters with Kanzaki Rin. After destroying the Holy Grail and its animated statues, they learned that Kitaryu Shingen was hiding underground with the Soul Stabilizer.

• Fang Cheng learned that Ye Yuqing’s shared soul might not survive, then enlisted Kanzaki Rin and his connections to find the lost Soul Stabilizer.
• Fang Cheng and Kanzaki Rin discovered that the Truth Cult had taken the Soul Stabilizer and arranged for Kamikawa Takumi to protect Ugou Mirai while they pursued it.
• Fang Cheng and Kanzaki Rin infiltrated Nanmoku Village with Kaneda Hideki, disguised themselves as wish-seekers, and entered the Grand Temple’s ceremony.
• Fang Cheng and Kanzaki Rin avoided the Truth Cult’s blood ritual and learned that Kitaryu Shingen’s chest ornament was the Soul Stabilizer, but Kaneda Hideki exposed them.
• Wakamatsu Kazuki revealed that he was an undercover agent, helped Fang Cheng take the Soul Stabilizer from Kitaryu Shingen’s double, Tamagawa Shu, and explained that the real Kitaryu Shingen was elsewhere.
• Kaneda Hideki activated the Holy Grail, and Fang Cheng fought the revived statues before melting the Grail and Shiva statue with Purifying Demon Fire.
• Wakamatsu Kazuki gave Fang Cheng the key to the passage beneath Nanmoku Village and said Kitaryu Shingen carried the Soul Stabilizer underground, while Kanzaki Rin and Fang Cheng restrained Wakamatsu and Tamagawa Shu.

Fang Cheng and Kanzaki Rin entered Shambhala to stop Kitaryu Shingen, and Fang Cheng killed him after learning the domain had no core. When Wakamatsu Kazuki’s final attack trapped Kanzaki Rin in Nightmare Hell, Fang Cheng entered her mind and brought her back, leaving them together in the hideout.

• Wakamatsu Kazuki led Fang Cheng and Kanzaki Rin into Shambhala, where they discovered its inhabitants were motionless Mud Men and fought off attacks by Garuda and Kitaryu Shingen’s forces.
• Fang Cheng confronted Kitaryu Shingen, who revealed his plan to kill humanity, while Kanzaki Rin searched for Shambhala’s supposed core with Wakamatsu Kazuki.
• Wakamatsu Kazuki betrayed Kanzaki Rin and admitted there was no core, but his planted blood sphere killed him before he could escape.
• Fang Cheng strengthened himself with 45 lives, shattered Kitaryu Shingen’s defenses, killed him, and took the Soul Stabilizer, but Kitaryu’s final attack left Kanzaki Rin unconscious and trapped in Nightmare Hell.
• Wakamatsu Kazuki’s soul stole the Soul Stabilizer and explained that someone had to enter Nightmare Hell to rescue Kanzaki Rin, then disappeared after asking Fang Cheng to protect his family and Tamagawa Shu.
• Fang Cheng projected his soul into Kanzaki Rin’s body and entered Nightmare Hell, where he found child versions of her and helped the younger Rin accept her parents’ deaths.
• Fang Cheng and Rin-chan escaped the ghosts after she answered the phone and heard the truth about her parents, and Fang Cheng woke in his hideout still possessing Kanzaki Rin’s body.
• Fang Cheng returned to his own body, and Kanzaki Rin privately remembered Nightmare Hell before he comforted her about her childhood.

Fang Cheng rescued the Cyborgs from the SOT Unit and uncovered a connection between himself, Tamagawa Shu, and Gongyuan Hang. The arc ended with Fang Cheng discovering seventy men who looked exactly like him, as SOT attacked the village where they were held.

• Fang Cheng rescued Wakamatsu Yuko, her sons, and Tamagawa Shu from Nanmoku Village, then learned Tamagawa Shu had been abandoned at an orphanage.
• Fang Cheng saved Nangong Saya from SOT soldiers and joined her and Takeda Masumi in helping the Cyborgs escape Black Dragon Town.
• Fang Cheng overwhelmed the SOT drone swarm with Blood Eagles, allowing the Cyborg convoy to flee toward Machine City.
• Asaka Akie’s investigation showed that Fang Cheng and Asaka Makoto had been adopted, while a later blood report linked Fang Cheng, Tamagawa Shu, and Gongyuan Hang to a shared ancestor.
• Fang Cheng accepted a protection job for Gongyuan Hang, whose resemblance to him and fear of being targeted drew the Agency into a deeper mystery.
• Fang Cheng and Ye Yuqing followed kidnappers who took Gongyuan Hang to an abandoned village, where they found sixty-nine other captives with Fang Cheng’s face.
• Hasegawa Kohei said Fujiwara Hirotetsu had created the captives through a Gene Editing Project, then invited them to join the resistance.
• An artillery shell struck the village as SOT soldiers established a position outside.

Fang Cheng uncovered Kanzaki Rin’s revenge plan and raced to the Nest of Life as she attacked it. He rescued her and her parents, destroyed the Nest, and was left facing Uehara Takashi after Kanzaki pursued Fujiwara Hirotetsu.

• Fang Cheng defeated the SOT Unit’s Bishamonten machines, brought Hasegawa Kohei and Gongyuan Hang to the Resistance Organization, and learned that Nozawa Hana led it while Nakajima Tomoya secretly worked for SOT.
• After kidnappers lured Fang Cheng toward Iwate, he rescued Sato Hayato and Kujo Go and traced the plot back to Nozawa Hana and the Resistance Organization.
• Fang Cheng confronted Kanzaki Rin and learned she had been reincarnated, founded the Resistance Organization to avenge her parents, and was dying from the Sessho-seki.
• Kanzaki Rin began her assault on Tokyo and the Underground Prison, while Takeda Masumi and Nangong Saya carried out attacks against government officials.
• Fang Cheng reached the Underground Prison, rescued Nozawa Ritsu, entered the Nest of Life, and took Mother’s Finger before Izanae directed him toward Kanzaki Rin.
• Kanzaki Rin fought through the Nest of Life, where Fujiwara Hirotetsu revealed that Number Two and Number One were her parents, transformed by his experiments.
• Fang Cheng arrived, rescued Kanzaki Rin and her parents, and escaped with them before detonating the blood he had planted in the Nest of Life.
• As the Nest of Life exploded, Kanzaki Rin flew after Fujiwara Hirotetsu and Fang Cheng fought Uehara Takashi, who blasted away much of Fang Cheng’s body and pursued him with a Vacuum Slash.
