Li Shu didn't let his guard down. He bowed first, then assumed a fighting stance and said solemnly, "Please, teach me."
Seeing how polite and well-mannered his opponent was, Bora's hostility eased. He returned the bow and said, "I'll go easy on you."
Once they were ready, Li Shu launched the first attack, dashing toward Bora like an arrow loosed from its string.
"What incredible speed!" Bora's expression changed. He hurriedly sidestepped and pushed off the ground with both feet, barely dodging Li Shu's punch.
During his five years on Mount Paozu, Li Shu had often sparred with Wukong. He was no longer a novice when it came to fighting.
Li Shu had already anticipated Bora's reaction, and followed up with a spinning side kick.
Clearly, Bora's fighting skills were no match for Li Shu's. He was completely unable to defend himself and was sent flying by Li Shu's whip-like kick.
He had lost in just two moves. Remembering his earlier claim that he would go easy on Li Shu, Bora's face was filled with embarrassment.
"You let me win." Li Shu clasped his hands in salute, feeling a little disappointed. That fight hadn't been satisfying at all.
He suddenly yearned for a powerful opponent he could really fight. Li Shu knew the Saiyan blood in him was making him crave battle again, and there was nothing he could do about it.
Bora accepted his defeat wholeheartedly and was impressed by Li Shu's bearing. "You're an excellent martial artist. I'm the one who should be embarrassed."
"Uncle, you're impressive too. You're just getting on in years," Li Shu said with a smile.
"Is that so? Hahaha!" Bora laughed. "Our ancestors have guarded this place for generations, and only one person has ever made it to the top of the tower."
Li Shu knew who that was: Master Roshi, that old lecher.
Bora then told Li Shu the legend of the Super Holy Water.
Li Shu didn't believe it, but he still had to keep up appearances. He deliberately put on a shocked expression, which pleased Bora greatly.
Bora invited Li Shu over to his house for a meal. "No one knows how tall Korin Tower is, but climbing it must take a lot of energy. If you get hungry, come to my house for a meal."

Just a few minutes later, Li Shu reached the top of the tower.

Hearing two system notifications in a row, Li Shu looked pleasantly surprised. He hadn't expected to get an extra reward in addition to the [Beginner Senzu Bean Can].

"What funny thing?"

First, he pretended to make a few attempts to snatch it, but Korin toyed with him each time. Once Korin had indulged his peculiar hobby, Li Shu deliberately fell for the trick and jumped off Korin Tower.
"You're not allowed to use the Flight Technique while trying to steal the water!" Korin shouted smugly.
"I know! I'll get it for sure!"
Li Shu ran down the pillar to the ground. He didn't go back up right away, but instead headed to Bora's house and ate his fill.
"That was delicious. Thank you for the meal, Uncle Bora."
Korin was standing in front of a water tank. The surface of the water reflected an image of what Li Shu was doing at that very moment.
"Not bad, kid. He's not in a rush and knows to fill his stomach first."
However, the next scene in the water left Korin looking puzzled.
