In the center of the underground hall beneath the temple, atop the hilt of the Holy Avenger, burned a faint flame that seemed liable to go out at any moment.

Yet this tiny flame radiated an unyielding power, shielding all the orbs of light in the center of the hall and firmly resisting the lawful evil that permeated the entire world.

It could even spare a trace of its lingering power to envelop the temple above, now reduced to broken walls and rubble, so that even Sui Xiong, who transcended attributes and laws, had failed to notice this place at first.

Sui Xiong carefully flew before the flame, afraid that a little too much force might snuff it out.

Within the flame, he saw the figure of a pig-headed man. The pig-headed man was old and ugly, emaciated to the bone, as though nothing but a layer of skin wrapped around a skeleton—a terrifying sight.
