Soldier: 76 transformation time remaining: 3:00.

After a moment of hesitation, the burly man threw a punch at William. William swayed his body to dodge the blow, grabbed the man's arm, and tossed him to the ground with a shoulder throw.

The countdown had begun the moment Soldier: 76 transformed. He had less than three minutes; once time ran out, he would revert to an ordinary human.

Fortunately, only this man had discovered his presence. He had to seize this opportunity to reach the Control Room quickly.

Unexpectedly, the man he had just knocked down didn't lose consciousness. Dazed, he raised his pistol and fired a shot at William with a bang.

Soldier: 76's reflexes were lightning fast. The bullet grazed his shoulder, and William rushed over to kick him unconscious.

However, the gunshot had exposed his position, drawing the attention of the Skull Gang guards.

"Gunfire!"

A patrolling guard heard the shot and immediately ran toward the sound. He gripped his machete, scanning his surroundings vigilantly.

Just then, a man with camouflage paint on his face stepped out from the shadows. The guard was startled and swung his machete, but William dodged the attack and swept his legs, knocking him to the ground.

"Archer! The archer is here!"

More guards heard the gunfire and called out to their companions. The Skull Gang had been on the lookout for an archer for days, but after waiting so long without seeing an enemy, they had grown restless.

Now that an enemy had suddenly appeared, they mistakenly assumed William was that archer, even though his weapon wasn't a bow and arrow.

"He's over there!"

The Skull Gang guards spotted Soldier: 76's silhouette in the distance. Their eyes filled with excitement; capturing this archer meant a five-million-dollar reward. That kind of money could make them rich overnight—enough to drive them mad with greed.

Two guards spotted William and were about to open fire when William tossed a pre-prepared Flashbang. A blinding white light erupted. Their vision instantly turned into a vast, white void, and a piercing ringing echoed in their ears.

Blinded by the flash, they were defenseless as Soldier: 76 sprinted toward them and knocked them unconscious.

"Get him!" Four or five guards closed in on him. William sneered and charged at them unarmed, prompting the guards to open fire immediately.

In his Sprint state, William moved like a phantom, weaving through the dense rain of bullets. Even when a stray round struck him, his tactical armor absorbed the impact.

The guards' excited expressions turned to panic. How could this man be faster than bullets?

The Skull Gang weren't idiots. Realizing their enemy was formidable, they stopped acting alone. The guards converged, gradually surrounding William and raising their rifles. The dense web of gunfire forced William to scramble for cover.

Suddenly, a strange sound came from beneath their feet, like something rolling across the ground.

Their faces changed instantly, for there lay a grenade with its pin pulled!

"Watch out, grenade!"

BOOM! Amidst the deafening roar of the high-explosive grenade, he struck down enemy after enemy:

One man took a punch to the chest, snapping several ribs.

Another was struck by a hand-blade to the neck and instantly blacked out.

A third was stabbed in the thigh with a sharp Combat Knife, blood spraying as he howled in agony.

Yet another had his head slammed into a wall until he lost consciousness...

Before Soldier: 76, these guards had no ability to resist. Though he was only one man, he was a match for an entire army!

William fought his way toward the Control Room, knocking down every enemy that blocked his path.

Finally, he reached the door of the Control Room. The guards standing watch tried to block him, but he took them down in a few swift moves and kicked the door open with a violent crash!

"Don't move! You're under arrest!"

As he kicked the door open, the imposing Heavy Pulse Rifle appeared in his hands. He had intended to deliver a cool entrance line, but the Control Room was completely empty; it seemed everyone had already fled.

He could see signs that someone had been there recently—a cup of coffee sat on the table, still steaming. This meant the occupants had left only moments ago.

William checked the Overwatch System map and saw that the golden question mark that had been in the Control Room was gone.

He hurriedly looked around and spotted the golden question mark again outside the Abandoned Factory. It was still moving, which puzzled him. What exactly was he looking for?

In the vast darkness of the night, the Skull Gang Leader carried a silver briefcase, leading his men slowly toward the Parking Lot. As they stood there, the leader checked his watch and then the sky, as if waiting for someone.

Not long after, a whistling sound echoed from the distance—the sound of rotor blades slicing through the air. Everyone looked up to see a black helicopter appearing in the night sky.

"Finally." Seeing the helicopter circling above, the Skull Gang Leader's lips curled into a smile.

But that smile quickly froze on his face. From afar, he saw the helicopter's cabin door slide open, revealing a black heavy machine gun aimed directly at them.

Rat-tat-tat-tat...

The heavy machine gun roared to life, and the Skull Gang Leader's face drained of color.

It was the melody of death.

Terrifying bullets rained down like a torrential storm, turning the two cars in front of them into sieves. A fuel tank exploded under the barrage, erupting into a massive fireball amidst a deafening roar!

"Danger! Run!" The Skull Gang members scrambled in terror. The helicopter roared in pursuit, bullets whizzing past their ears and striking the ground, kicking up golden sparks.

One man, running too slowly, was caught by a burst of gunfire and turned into a mist of blood in the blink of an eye.

The helicopter circled in the air and dropped a rope ladder. Over a dozen mysterious soldiers fast-roped down to the ground.

The mysterious soldiers wore ballistic helmets and night-vision goggles, clad in tactical armor and wielding Tactical Rifles... They were armed to the teeth, their gear entirely black, exuding a murderous aura.

The Skull Gang Leader's eyes widened in shock. He hadn't expected things to turn out this way; this wasn't what they had agreed upon. He recognized the gear as that of elite special forces. Who exactly were they?

These soldiers were clearly highly trained. They stood in a line, moving in perfect unison as they chambered their weapons.

The captain standing at the front spoke in a cold, commanding voice:

"Find our target, and kill everyone else!"
