Tactical Visor Activated!

"Soldier: 76 transformation time remaining: 1:30."

With a deafening boom, the back door of the Abandoned Factory exploded into a fireball. Through the blazing flames, William rushed out with the Heavy Pulse Rifle in hand, Sprinting at full speed.

"Stop! Don't run!" A crowd was chasing him from behind, shouting as they ran and fired. Bullets whistled through the air, some grazing right past his scalp.

For the mission, William had infiltrated the Skull Gang's headquarters. He had fought his way to the control room to uncover the gang's secrets, only to find that everyone inside had already left. He immediately gave chase, but there were pursuers all along the way.

The pursuers were all Skull Gang guards. Even though their enemy was far stronger than they had expected, they didn't give up. If they captured the archer, they would get a five-million-dollar reward, dead or alive.

Dozens of guards surrounded William from every direction. Just then, five or six black-clad soldiers appeared in the distance, walking slowly toward them. The Skull Gang assumed they were reinforcements.

But they soon realized their mistake. These soldiers hadn't come to help them—they had come to kill them!

Without the slightest warning, the black-clad soldiers attacked. Their weapons were sophisticated and their firepower overwhelming. A merciless storm of bullets swept toward the gang, like the scythe of the Reaper.

One Skull Gang member after another fell into pools of blood. In the blink of an eye, more than a dozen had been shot dead. The survivors panicked and began firing back.

Even William came under attack. He hurried behind cover, but a stray bullet pierced his thigh, and blood poured out at once. The pain made him grimace.

"Ow, ow, ow..."

Soldier: 76 wore body armor, and his physical abilities far surpassed those of an ordinary person. Ordinary bullets shouldn't have been able to hurt him. It seemed these special forces soldiers weren't using ordinary weapons—their firepower was ferocious.

Who... were these black-clad soldiers?

When the fierce battle ended, dozens of bodies lay scattered across the ground. They were all Skull Gang members. Against the well-trained soldiers, they were like lambs among wolves—the fight had been almost entirely one-sided.

"Soldier: 76 transformation time remaining: 1:00."

William glanced at the transformation timer, then at the blood still pouring from his thigh. He was running out of time.

This was the first time he had been shot, and the first time he had bled. So this was what being shot felt like. So losing blood made your body grow cold. The moment the bullet hit, his leg had gone numb.

An ordinary person hit like that would be almost unable to move, left with no choice but to sit and wait for death. But William now had the powerful Overwatch System.

Soldier: 76 was a fierce fighter in the game, not just because his Pulse Bullets dealt heavy damage, but also because he had strong staying power. He could deploy a healing beacon. In other words, he could heal himself!

Biotic Field: Heal yourself. Soldier: 76 can deploy a biotic field on the ground. Its energy heals Soldier: 76 and nearby allies.

Note: If the field is blocked (by a wall, an enemy barrier, or something similar), you will not be healed.

Before he passed out, William hurriedly deployed a Biotic Field on the ground. A yellow ring appeared beneath his feet, and a yellow pillar of light rose from its center.

Standing in the Biotic Field, with cross-shaped symbols floating around him, he immediately felt warmth spread through his body. The pain in his wounded thigh gradually eased, his dizziness vanished, and the wound healed completely. Even the bullet inside was pushed out by the healing tissue.

After clearing out the enemies in front of them, the special forces soldiers began searching for survivors. If they found anyone still alive, they immediately shot them again. The Biotic Field's pillar of light stood out, drawing their attention.

"There's someone alive over there. Take him out!" The soldiers spotted William and steadily closed in.

William leaned against the cover and took a deep breath. These enemies were different from the Skull Gang—they were true killing machines. If he wasn't careful, he could easily die.

In his field of vision, a dim icon showed 95%. It was the Overwatch System's ultimate ability icon.

Every Overwatch hero had their own special move, or ultimate ability. Unlike ordinary skills, an ultimate couldn't be used at any time. Its energy had to be fully charged first.

Using regular abilities and making normal attacks both charged the meter. Only when it reached 100% could he unleash his ultimate.

Ever since he transformed into Soldier: 76, he had been charging his ultimate. It looked like it was time to show them the true power of Pulse Storm.

With that thought, William didn't hesitate. He burst out from behind cover and opened fire with the Heavy Pulse Rifle. One enemy fell to the ground. The others all fired at William, but Soldier: 76 rolled on the spot and launched a fierce counterattack!

98%... 99%... 100%!

Tactical Visor activated!

Tactical Visor: Eliminate your enemies. Soldier: 76's Tactical Visor activates auto-aim, locking onto hostile targets and firing at them. While the ultimate is active, bullet damage increases and reload speed improves.

Note: If an enemy leaves your field of fire, the visor quickly locks onto the next target.

"I see you!" The Tactical Visor before William's eyes lit up red. A huge circle appeared in his field of vision, and every enemy within it was locked onto by the visor.

In an instant, blue flames burst from the Heavy Pulse Rifle. Amid its ferocious roar, blue flashes erupted like a storm, seemingly able to destroy everything.

A special forces soldier was knocked to the ground. He tried to get back up, but a bullet pierced his throat!

Another soldier tried to fight back, but the ferocious Pulse Bullets shot his Tactical Rifle to pieces—and shredded his hand along with it.

Another soldier tried to run. One of his legs was blasted apart by bullets, and in the blink of an eye, blue flashes engulfed his entire body...

Pulse Storm—terrifying beyond belief!

The Tactical Visor truly lived up to its reputation as Soldier: 76's strongest ability. No one could escape the storm of Pulse Bullets alive. Even these soldiers were nothing more than moving targets in front of the visor.

Although the special forces soldiers were well equipped, the Tactical Visor riddled them with bullets. The surviving soldiers tried to retreat, but William wasn't about to let them get away. In the end, deadly Pulse Bullets pierced their bodies.

"Soldier: 76 transformation time remaining: 0:30."

After taking care of the soldiers, William continued onward. The map showed that the Golden Question Mark was at the Parking Lot ahead. When he ran over, he found many bodies lying in the lot.

In the distance, he saw the Skull Gang Leader, his face covered in blood, clutching a briefcase with a desperate look in his eyes. Special forces soldiers surrounded him. The captain in charge aimed a pistol at him and said viciously, "Your mission is over. Hand over the case!"

"You devils! I'll never give it to you!" the Skull Gang Leader roared hoarsely. "I brought you the briefcase just like we agreed. Why are you still slaughtering my people?!"

"Tsk, tsk." The captain looked at him with disdain. "Why do you think we supported the Skull Gang? You were nothing but pawns to us. Now that you're no longer useful, and you know too many secrets, you have to die!"
