Betty and Mr. Blue both looked utterly bewildered. At a time like this, how could this guy still be singing a lullaby?
"The sun is setting."
William kept repeating those words, as if in a daze. They had no idea that Black Widow had used this trick to calm Hulk down and turn him back from a monster.
And so, when the irritable Hulk heard those words, he gradually calmed down. Even his fierce gaze softened.
"This method really works." William said in a low voice, "Quick, inject the antidote while we still have the chance!"
Mr. Blue pressed the button hard. As the antidote was injected, the Hulk stopped struggling and roaring. William saw that Hulk's eyes, which had been green, were gradually turning blue. He was turning back into Bruce.
"Bruce, can you hear me?" Bruce lay on the mechanical bed in human form. His eyes were closed, and the veins all over his body were slowly receding.
Bruce slowly opened his eyes and gazed deeply into Betty's. Then they embraced tightly, making one lonely soul feel unbearably envious. He grabbed his right hand with his left and said angrily, "No, I can't control my Kirin Arm anymore!"
After the treatment was over, Mr. Blue looked extremely excited. He hadn't expected it to be so successful, and launched into a long explanation:
"Gamma power comes from the gamma pulses in the amygdala of your brain. The nucleic acid chains in your body let your cells absorb energy temporarily, allowing you to transform..."
William frowned. "What was that about walnut kernels and sour plum chains? You're making me hungry. You've said so much, but how did the treatment go?"
