"Hulk escaped! It's in the streets!" a panicked soldier shouted over the radio.

General Ross was completely bewildered. What was going on? Hulk—no, Bruce—was sitting right there in the helicopter. Where had this monster come from? Had the soldiers seen things?

"Impossible. Everyone, stay calm." Ross glanced back at Bruce and saw him whispering to Betty.

"Help! That monster's coming!" Hearing the soldiers scream, General Ross sensed something was wrong and immediately ordered the pilot to turn around.

Bruce noticed the helicopter changing direction and asked in confusion, "What happened? Why are we going back?"

Betty was just as puzzled. At that moment, General Ross brought up a live feed from the ground. The image showed a blaze, with a huge shadow visible amid the flames. Explosions and screams rang out from within.

"What the hell is that thing?"

A soldier appeared on-screen and had just yelled something when the shadow grabbed him. He screamed as it hurled him away. The soldiers nearby opened fire, but the shadow took them out in an instant.

William pursed his lips. Even without Athena saying a word, he knew the terrifying Abomination was about to be born. It seemed the final mission in the Hulk storyline was to defeat that deranged lunatic who'd lost control.

Actually, William could have prevented Blonsky from becoming the Abomination by destroying Hulk's blood in the lab. So why hadn't he done it?

It was just like how he held the list of Hydra members but didn't dare hand it over to S.H.I.E.L.D.

He was a transmigrator, and his arrival in the Marvel Universe had already caused unknown changes. If he stopped the Abomination from being born, many things would change as a result. He didn't dare take that risk.

Besides, he had come here in S.H.I.E.L.D.'s name
