"Do as I say, and you might just live. Otherwise..."

The robber leader had barely finished speaking when one of his lackeys chambered a round in his weapon. The terrifying sound silenced everyone; the hostages stared at the robbers with fearful eyes, their bodies trembling uncontrollably.

Damn it! William, crouching on the ground, was shivering as well. He had only arrived in this new world two days ago, and he was already facing bank robbers. The Marvel world was truly even more dangerous than he had imagined.

Before transmigrating, he had been nothing more than an ordinary person. Even with the Overwatch System, facing these vicious, murderous thugs, his heart was filled with terror.

"Tell me! Where is the vault key?" Not far away, the robber leader yanked the bank manager's hair and asked coldly.

"I won't tell you!" The bank manager glared at him and said, "Just wait until the police arrest you!"

The robber leader impatiently grabbed his hair and slammed his face into the table, leaving him covered in blood. This scene caused the people present to scream, and some women began to weep in terror.

William looked on with a sense of helplessness. He had heard that in America, when a bank robbery occurred, the manager would usually hand over the keys and passwords voluntarily, as the insurance company would cover the losses.

However, the manager before him was very young, acting like a hot-headed fool. If he truly provoked the robbers, he would likely be in mortal danger.

"I don't have the patience to mess around with you!" The robber leader chambered his pistol and aimed it at the manager's forehead. "I'll give you five seconds. After five seconds, give me an answer, or prepare to meet God!"

"Five!" The bank manager glared at the robber leader. "Just kill me! I won't say a word even if I die!"

"Four!" William's breathing grew heavier. He glanced at the guard nearby, who seemed to be watching his own leader and paying no attention to their side of the room.

"Three!" The bank manager began to grow nervous as well. He stared into the cold muzzle of the gun, sweat rolling down his forehead and mixing with the blood on his face, blurring his vision.

"Two!" Knowing he was doomed, he couldn't help but slowly close his eyes. At this moment, the robber leader lost his final shred of patience; his finger tightened on the trigger, ready to fire.

Before the robber leader could say "one," a young man with blonde hair among the hostages suddenly stood up and roared, "Enough!"

His shout startled the robber leader, who failed to pull the trigger. The robber guarding the hostages immediately walked over, raised his gun, and barked, "What do you think you're doing? Get down!"

Athena, prepare Soldier: 76 transformation.

William said silently in his heart. These villains were different from the petty thief he'd seen yesterday; they were cold-blooded, desperate criminals, which was why he was afraid. But to let him watch this man die right in front of him?

Sorry, he couldn't do it.

Overwatch, dedicated to maintaining world peace, was the guardian of the future.

William knew he wasn't a great man, but with this powerful ability, he absolutely would not stand idly by.

Because this world needs more heroes. We need heroes!

Amidst a brilliant flash of light, William's entire form underwent a heaven-shaking transformation:

His body became robust, covered from head to toe in a blue, white, and red combat suit. His golden hair turned ash-gray in an instant, and a red light appeared before his face, converging into a high-tech red tactical visor!

Soldier: 76 transformation successful. Remaining time: 2:00.

As the transformation began, William charged toward the robber guarding the hostages. By the time he reached the man, he had successfully assumed the form of Soldier: 76.

"What the hell?" The robber guard was stunned. Was this guy a magician? How did he change his clothes, hairstyle, and hair color in the blink of an eye, and where did that visor come from?

There was no time to think; the robber guard swung his fist at him.

Unexpectedly, the man didn't dodge at all. He reached out, caught the punch, and gave it a violent twist. The guard heard the sickening sound of his own bones shattering!

"Argh! My arm!" The robber guard's arm was twisted 360 degrees. He dropped his gun, clutched his arm, and rolled on the ground in agony.

"Get him!" Two other robbers rushed toward William. Seeing that he had no weapon, they assumed he would be easy to handle and didn't bother drawing their guns, intending to subdue him with their bare hands.

But they soon realized they were wrong.

The two robbers tried to flank him from the left and right. One threw a punch, but William sidestepped, and the other tried to sneak up from behind to put him in a chokehold.

William sneered, grabbed the man's arm, and tossed him over his shoulder. Soldier: 76's strength was immense; the throw sent the robber flying five or six meters, slamming him into a stone pillar nearby.

The other robber never expected this guy to be so formidable and hurriedly tried to draw his gun. But William didn't give him the chance, slamming his elbow into the man's chin. The robber groaned in pain, his gun flying from his hand.

"Bang!" Finally, the robber's head was slammed hard against the wall, shattering his skull mask instantly!

William had taken down three robbers with his bare hands. The remaining two were stunned, but the robber leader was the first to snap out of it. He raised an AK-47 and snarled viciously:

"You meddlesome bastard, you're dead today!"

Accompanied by a deafening roar, the AK-47 spat a tongue of fire. Bullets streaked through the air, seemingly destined to hit their target.

In an instant, William dodged the lethal bullets with a sidestep, moving like a phantom.

The robber leader couldn't believe his eyes. Someone actually dodging bullets? Did he think this was The Matrix?

He fired wildly, the sound of the AK-47 echoing through the air. Some bullets riddled the stone pillars with holes, while others shattered the ceiling lights, sending the crowd into a frenzy of screams.

The Sprint ability allowed William to change direction at will while running at high speeds. He turned into a blur, weaving behind cover and closing in on the robbers!

The last remaining robber stood with the leader, clutching a large bag. He had just finished looting a significant amount of cash from the bank counters, and the bag was now bulging at the seams.

"Go take him out!" The robber leader shoved his shoulder.

The robber nodded, dropped the bag, and raised his gun as he moved forward.

Although it was still daytime, the lighting in the bank was poor. The flickering, broken ceiling lights cast the room in a tense and dangerous atmosphere, where an enemy could pop out at any moment.

"Stop hiding, come out!" He scanned his surroundings vigilantly, his hand slick with sweat as he gripped his gun.

To be honest, that guy was truly impressive, taking down three of his accomplices with his bare hands. But now that he was facing the enemy, could he really take him down?

Just then, he thought he heard a strange sound.

It was very close; the voice was right nearby.

He whipped his head around, and a light appeared in the dark corner—a crimson glow, ghostly and strange!

"Aaaah!"

The cry of his companion sent a jolt of alarm through the bandit leader. He knew his men must have already been taken out.

Who on earth was this guy? To wipe out four of his subordinates without even breaking a sweat?

Internal suspicion began to curdle into fear. Pressing his pistol against the bank manager's temple, the bandit leader shouted, "Come out, you spook-playing bastard, or I'll blow his brains out!"

This world needs more heroes~
