"Brother?" Shuri glanced at T'Challa. "Can I go too?"
"Of course not." T'Challa immediately refused. "Do you know how dangerous it is out there? And that's the moon, not Earth. Who knows what kind of trouble you might run into?"
Having remained isolated from the world for so many years, the Wakandans distrusted outsiders. If T'Challa had not fought alongside William, and if William were not a member of the Avengers, he probably would not have allowed William to enter his country so freely.
However, compared to his father T'Chaka, his views were far more open-minded. Seeing that T'Challa would not allow it, Shuri stepped forward, grabbed his arm, and shook it back and forth. "Brother, just let me go."
There it was—the little sister's coquettish assault. Even the king of Wakanda couldn't withstand it.
"Ahem." T'Challa deliberately coughed, pulling his sister's hand away. As the king of Wakanda, he had to maintain a kingly demeanor. What would this look like in front of outsiders?
"Even if you agree, Mother won't," T'Challa said.
"That's fine." Shuri hurriedly said, "She usually doesn't come to my lab anyway. Just tell her I'm researching new weapons these next few days and need to stay in the lab longer."
"Fine..." Black Panther could not refuse his sister. Besides, letting William watch Shuri act spoiled in front of him was far too embarrassing for a king.
"Great!" Shuri jumped up happily. After all, she was only a seventeen-year-old girl. Though she possessed extraordinary intelligence, she had little guile, and the chance to go out and have fun made her very happy.
"William." T'Challa patted William on the shoulder and said with a serious expression, "Take good care of my sister. Don't let her encounter any danger. I'm entrusting her to you."
"Don't worry, Your Majesty."
