Superheroes in the Marvel universe generally fell into two categories: those with absurdly high combat power and those with absurdly high intelligence.

Thor, who was simple-minded and physically powerful, belonged to the former category. Hulk did too, of course, but his true self was a scientist with absurdly high intelligence.

If the superheroes of the Marvel universe were ranked by IQ, who do you think would be the smartest?

Iron Man Tony Stark, who developed the Arc Reactor and Iron Armor?

Hank Pym, the first Ant-Man, who invented Pym Particles and discovered the Quantum Realm?

Or Hulk Bruce Banner, who held seven doctoral degrees and especially excelled in Gamma Ray research?

No, no. None of them.

The smartest person in the Marvel universe was actually Shuri, Black Panther's younger sister!

As the princess of Wakanda, Shuri was not inferior to her brother in the slightest.

She oversaw the Wakandan Science Department not because of her connection to Black Panther, but because of her extraordinary intelligence.

Black Panther's high-tech Vibranium suit had been improved by her. She had invented all kinds of weapons and equipment, such as Kimoyo Beads, Wakandan aircraft, mining trains, holographic battle systems, remotely controlled cars, force fields, and more.

Although many of the people mentioned above could accomplish such things as well, Shuri was only seventeen years old and had not even reached adulthood. To have achieved so much already made her the foremost genius in the Marvel universe. Her future was limitless, and calling her the smartest person in the Marvel universe was fully deserved.

Standing beside someone like that, William, a poor student, could only feel as if his IQ had been pinned to the ground and ruthlessly rubbed raw.
