Explosive Flame Meteor

Previously, while Jiang Yun was contemplating how to develop a technique suitable for actual combat, he sought to harness immense power. Drawing inspiration from the elemental properties of the Thunder Shock Surprise, he developed the Power of Explosive Flame.

Jiang Yun was not yet satisfied with this, so he combined his past experience in martial arts development to compress and oscillate his ki to varying degrees, even forcing the ki to collide within a confined space.

During one experiment, a deafening roar erupted, sending dust and debris scattering in all directions. A powerful shockwave swept through the surroundings, causing damage no less severe than a mushroom cloud. Once the dust settled, a bloodied figure lay sprawled in a crater.

Jiang Yun struggled to his feet, his movements sluggish.

Damn it, I almost died. I shouldn't have been experimenting so recklessly.

"Cough, cough, cough!"

Jiang Yun clutched his chest, coughing up blood.

"Good thing I managed to shroud myself in ki at the critical moment, otherwise I would have been in real trouble—if not dead, then severely injured."

Jiang Yun sighed helplessly.

It was fortunate he didn't have a Senzu Bean on him, or that would have been a real mess!

The energy that had just erupted was more than six times his own, reaching a combat power of approximately 2,500.

Jiang Yun muttered, marveling at the miraculous effect of the bean.

"With this, I don't have to fear injury. Time to continue training."

Thinking of the powerful enemies that awaited him in the future, Jiang Yun felt a renewed sense of motivation. He couldn't afford to be lazy, not when the future foes were so formidable.

Yet, a grand ambition rose in Jiang Yun's heart, and he looked forward to crossing paths with them. This was the very reason he had started his martial arts journey.

In some respects, Jiang Yun was similar to Goku; both looked forward to meeting strong opponents and engaging in visceral, hand-to-hand combat. When two warriors meet on a narrow path, the brave one prevails. A martial artist must possess a sharp, progressive spirit.

Life is a mountain thousands of feet high, and I have emerged from the bottom. Every pine and cypress has endured the bitter cold, and every person has experienced growth.

It was a miracle he hadn't been blown to bits, but Jiang Yun also saw in it the opportunity to develop a move of immense power.

If he could bind that compressed, chaotic, and colliding ki, it would essentially be a bomb of immense power—only many times stronger.

He could even infuse it with elemental properties. Jiang Yun had been researching ki attributes for some time; in his view, this was a significant field of study, even if it was overlooked in the Dragon Ball World, where the mainstream focus was solely on combat power.

However, there were a few who developed martial arts. For instance, in the original story, Goku traveled to the Yardrat Planet, where he engaged in unique martial arts training. Perhaps because the Yardratians possessed strong mental power, they had carved out a path different from others.

Even Goku's Instant Transmission was learned there, a technique that had saved Earth from disaster many times. The Yardrat Planet held many such miraculous secrets.

Then there was the planet known as Metamor, which was also a very magical place.

While the name might sound unfamiliar to some, everyone would certainly recognize the dance Goku and Vegeta performed to fuse—the Metamor Fusion.

In Jiang Yun's view, this was an incredibly formidable technique.

For example, if Krillin and the others had learned this technique when Vegeta invaded Earth, there is no doubt that even without Goku, they could have defeated Vegeta, provided he didn't transform into a Great Ape. That shows just how powerful it was.

Another classic case of the Metamor Fusion was Trunks and Son Goten, who reached the level of Super Saiyan 3 after fusing—a hundredfold increase! How astonishing!

Perhaps the people of the Dragon Ball World were too obsessed with raw combat power, likely because mastering martial arts was far more difficult than simply increasing one's power level.

It had to be said that the people of the Dragon Ball World were too shortsighted, though there was little choice in the matter, with internal strife and the cosmic real estate mogul, Frieza, forcing his will upon the galaxy.

Furthermore, this technique required extreme control over ki to achieve any success, as it required converting ki into electrical current.

Jiang Yun had an idea: his control over ki was, if anything, superior to the Turtle Hermit's. He believed he could convert his ki into the explosive Power of Explosive Flame.

After several days of calculation and experimentation, the newly developed technique was born, which he named the Explosive Flame Meteor.

Jiang Yun brought his hands together, instantly manifesting an energy sphere resembling a meteor, which then shot out rapidly, striking the ocean and even stunning the seabirds in the sky, causing them to fall.

As of today, this technique could finally be considered a success!
