Gravity Training Room

Jiang Yun had just returned to the Martial Alliance when he heard some good news!

He had proposed the Gravity Training Room project several years ago and secretly recruited scientists to build them. Everyone else found it completely baffling; while they acknowledged that gravity training might have some effect, they felt that spending such a massive amount of capital on it was likely not worth the cost.

They were unaware of the future, but how could Jiang Yun not know? It was precisely because he knew what the future held that he decided to lay the groundwork early. The Gravity Training Room was a crucial piece of that puzzle. Take, for instance, why Goku could learn the Kaioken in the later stages, while the others who had also visited King Kai's Planet could not. It wasn't because King Kai refused to teach them, but because the human body was too frail; forcing the technique would only cause their bodies to collapse.

The Kaioken developed by King Kai was, after all, too violent. Compared to the martial arts amplification techniques he had developed himself, his own had milder side effects, though perhaps not as much stamina. Considering that his own energy wasn't as volatile, the duration might be similar. All in all, each had its own advantages, but there was still room to further develop the Kaioken.

After Goku transformed into a Super Saiyan, he stopped using the Kaioken. It wasn't that he didn't want to, but in the Super Saiyan state, the physical body was already under immense pressure. If he were to use the Kaioken on top of that, his body would simply shatter. He wouldn't even need an enemy to defeat him; he would destroy himself.

Yet, in Dragon Ball Super, why was Goku able to use the Kaioken, and with such a significant multiplier? While the power of the gods had strengthened his body, the most important factor was that Goku had improved the Kaioken, lowering its side effects and reducing its requirements.

With the training rooms in place, Jiang Yun could not only improve his own physical strength and enhance his cultivation, but he could also accelerate the training speed of the Martial Alliance disciples. He didn't ask for them to be invincible for all time, but he did want them to have the power to protect Earth, rather than being unable to handle even the smallest of cannon fodder.

However, Jiang Yun believed that under his leadership, they should be able to surpass the so-called high-level planets. Planet Vegeta, which had not been destroyed, was a high-level planet, and it was quite formidable even among the elite.

In the original Dragon Ball, it wasn't that Earthlings couldn't leave the planet; Bulma's company absolutely had the capability. The reason they didn't publish the manufacturing methods for spaceships was that they felt Earth wasn't ready to face the universe, and their own strength wasn't sufficient. The Dragon Team wouldn't always be there to protect them. It was fine on Earth, but once they left, they would be on their own. They should be grateful that such a group of people existed to guard the Earth and protect them.

In Jiang Yun's view, Goku and the others protected Earth too well. The planet had even been blown up, and after experiencing so many hardships, their memories were eventually wiped, leaving them with no knowledge of what had happened. The only thing they remembered was King Piccolo.

But as time passed, even that was gradually forgotten!

Meanwhile, the Dragon Team members who had risked their lives for Earth lived low-key lives, even worrying about being seen by ordinary people, and were dismissed as mere tricksters when disaster struck.

In Jiang Yun's view, since they were the ones bearing the heavy burden, they should enjoy the treatment heroes deserved. Goku's family lived in poverty; one could say that apart from martial arts, Goku didn't know how to earn a living at all. But could we blame him?

A hero should have the status a hero deserves, at the very least not having to worry about making ends meet. In the original story, if it weren't for their poor financial situation, perhaps Gohan wouldn't have become the Great Saiyaman.

Could Chi-Chi be blamed for this? Not really. She didn't demand anything because of the massive contributions Goku had made, nor did she seek help from Bulma just because she was wealthy. Instead, she taught Gohan to become a scholar.

At the same time, she hoped that Gohan could be self-reliant on this planet.

Overall, the Dragon Team members were all martial artists with righteous hearts. Aside from Yamcha being a bit of a playboy and eventually giving up martial arts, they had no real flaws. They didn't use their immense combat power to run amok; instead, they found honest work—a baseball player, which counted as a decent job, right?

It wasn't that one could blame Yamcha. After King Piccolo, he had strived to catch up, and even after dying in the battle to defend Earth, he continued to aim for the pinnacle of martial arts. In his view, Earth had Goku and the others to protect it, and no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't catch up to the others. Even Krillin and Tien Shinhan were far stronger than him.

It was no wonder he gave up martial arts, especially since his luck was also a bit poor; he was the one who died every single time.

Who wouldn't be worried about that? What if one day Goku and the others forgot to revive him?

This was why the others' martial arts hearts were more resilient. In Dragon Ball Super, Tien Shinhan cut off contact with the others and opened a private dojo in the deep mountains to teach disciples.

His performance at the Tournament of Power proved that his combat power was not lacking.

Jiang Yun was confident that the future world would be wonderful, brilliant, and glorious!

Jiang Yun decided to fully popularize martial arts in the future, along with the research he had conducted on martial techniques over the years. With their natural talent, it was not impossible for them to rival the Saiyans in the future. Even if they couldn't, they wouldn't be reduced to the point of being unable to handle cannon fodder.

Perhaps, if they could find their own paths, they might even reach the realm of the gods.

With Jiang Yun bringing the Gravity Training Room into existence early, he believed that Earth's martial arts would see a vigorous development. And with Jiang Yun acting as the butterfly effect, perhaps everyone would have a different life in the future.

Upon learning that the Gravity Training Room was born, Jiang Yun summoned Bu Chen and instructed him, "Bu Chen, increase the capital investment for the construction of the gravity rooms. Furthermore, the Gravity Training Rooms are to be provided for the core disciples to train in, using the contribution points issued by the Martial Alliance as the currency for training."

In the few years since the Martial Alliance was founded, Jiang Yun knew he couldn't just keep giving endlessly. Things that were too easy to obtain were rarely cherished, so he had established various contribution systems.

With this system perfected, the Martial Alliance became more vibrant. Even some wandering martial artists joined the Alliance to complete tasks issued by it—though, of course, these people were not core disciples.

The Martial Alliance acted as a platform of sorts.
