Background / History

Zhao Wuji serves as an instructor at Shrek Academy. During Lin Mo and Xiao Wu's entrance examination, he sets the fourth trial: they may pass if they defeat Dai Mubai together. He takes an immediate interest in Lin Mo's unusual physical constitution and thousand-year second soul ring. 53 54

After Lin Mo defeats Dai Mubai, Zhao Wuji personally tests him. Lin Mo breaks through Zhao Wuji's first soul skill, Immovable Wisdom King Body, and withstands a strike from Zhao Wuji's Bear Transformation through rapid healing. Impressed by Lin Mo's balanced offense, defense, endurance, and recovery, Zhao Wuji accepts him as a student and offers to guide him until Lin Mo surpasses him. 55 56

He later develops a specialized regimen for Lin Mo using Gravity Enhancement, recognizing that ordinary running drills cannot sufficiently challenge a Body Spirit user of Lin Mo's physical caliber. 59 60
