Lin Mo refuses Xiao Wu's help and fights Dai Mubai alone. Dai Mubai activates his White Tiger Protection Barrier and White Tiger Vajra Transformation, but is overwhelmed in close combat by Lin Mo's superior strength, endurance, and recovery. 53 54

After conceding, Dai Mubai witnesses Lin Mo reveal a yellow first ring and a purple thousand-year second ring before challenging Zhao Wuji. The revelation leaves him stunned and makes him reassess Lin Mo as a monster beyond ordinary standards. 54 55
