Background / History

Mobius possessed self-awareness and independent thought from birth. She describes having no conventional childhood, instead pursuing knowledge and power alone after finding that others rarely understood her ideas or motives. Her goal became changing humanity through evolution. 35

She became a world-class scholar and an expert in genetic engineering, joining the Flame-Chasing Moths before Mei. Her laboratory relied on outside investment as well as organizational funding, because her research costs exceeded her allocated budget. 4 18

Before meeting Ling Xi, Mobius became interested in an unidentified young man recorded destroying a Temple-class Honkai Beast with an unknown power. She ordered Klein to locate him, believing the ability could lead humanity’s evolution. 2 After Ling Xi rescued her from assailants, she identified him as the person from the footage and arranged for Klein to recruit him without revealing their prior encounter. 3

Her research with Ling Xi identified a mysterious, decaying energy stored in his cells. Mobius named these samples Superpower Cells, but could not fully model or reproduce the energy. 11 24

Appearance

Mobius is a green-haired, blue-eyed woman who is first seen wearing a white shirt. 3 Following her self-experimentation with the Hypervariable Factor, she can undergo drastic physical changes.
