Goku's Resolve

Whis stood to the side, quietly observing the battle. The staff in his hand trembled slightly, as if recording the combat data and the fluctuations of power from both sides.

He understood in his heart that this battle was a rare opportunity for growth for Son Goku, and Beerus also seemed to be intentionally testing Son Goku's limits.

Son Goku took a deep breath, his muscles tensed to the limit, and he elevated the power of the Super Saiyan God to a new height. The surrounding space began to distort, and faint golden dragon-shaped phantoms emerged within the red radiance.

"Dragon Fist Explosion!" Son Goku roared, and a massive golden dragon surged out from behind him, rushing toward Beerus with the force to destroy the heavens and extinguish the earth. The dragon bared its fangs and brandished its claws; wherever it passed, space was torn into black fissures, as if it intended to swallow Beerus whole.

Beerus watched the incoming dragon, his gaze appearing to grow a bit more serious. He planted his feet apart, standing firmly on the ground, and slowly raised his hands. Purple energy gathered in his palms, forming a massive vortex of power.

"Judgment of the God of Destruction!" Beerus shouted, hurling the energy vortex toward the golden dragon. The two met in mid-air, instantly erupting into an extremely blinding light. Within the radiance, energy continuously collided, intertwined, and annihilated, with the powerful shockwave spreading in all directions, dragging everything nearby into this storm of energy.

Amidst the blinding light and the violent energy storm, the figures of Son Goku and Beerus flickered in and out of sight. The sound of the energy collision was deafening, as if it would overturn the entire universe.

Son Goku gritted his teeth and persisted, sweat soaking his clothes. Every inch of his muscle trembled from the exertion, but an unyielding flame burned in his eyes. He continuously funneled his energy into the golden dragon, attempting to break through Beerus's attack.

Beerus, meanwhile, wore a grave expression. He had not expected Son Goku to be able to unleash such powerful strength, which in turn ignited his own competitive spirit. He increased the output of the energy vortex in his hands; the purple light grew increasingly dazzling, remaining locked in a stalemate with the golden dragon.

Suddenly, the golden dragon let out a heaven-shaking roar. Its body swelled violently, and its power increased accordingly. The dragon opened its blood-red maw and bit down on the energy vortex, actually beginning to swallow it.

Seeing this, a flash of surprise crossed Beerus's eyes, but he immediately regained his composure. He let out a cold snort, his hands moving rapidly. A mysterious purple light emerged in his palms, and he forcefully pushed the light forward, causing it to instantly merge into the energy vortex.

In an instant, the energy vortex erupted with an even greater power, forcing the golden dragon to retreat step by step. Son Goku was also caught in the backlash; his body was struck by a powerful shockwave and sent flying, crashing heavily into the ground and creating a massive crater.

"Hmph, Saiyan, you are still far from ready!" Beerus crossed his arms, hovering in the air, and looked down coldly at Son Goku.

Son Goku struggled to climb out of the crater. His body was covered in wounds, and blood stained his clothes, but his gaze remained resolute. He looked up at Beerus, took a deep breath, and once again mobilized the power within his body.

At this moment, Whis shook his head slightly and said softly, "Son Goku, you have already tried your best, but Lord Beerus's power is not so easily surpassed." However, Son Goku seemed not to hear Whis's words; he had only one belief in his heart, and that was to continue fighting and break through his own limits.

Son Goku shouted once more, the red aura on his body burning more fiercely, and the golden electricity becoming even more violent. His body slowly rose, hovering in the air as he locked eyes with Beerus.

"I will not give up, Lord Beerus! Today, I will let you witness the true power of a Saiyan!" Son Goku's voice was firm and powerful, echoing across the land ravaged by their battle.

Beerus frowned slightly, feeling a touch of admiration for Son Goku's resilience, but his expression remained cold. "Then come. Let me see what other tricks you have."

Son Goku pressed his palms together in front of his chest and then slowly pulled them apart. A golden orb emitting a mysterious light appeared in his hands. This was a new power he had inadvertently grasped during the battle; although he was not yet proficient with it, he had no other choice at this moment.

He swallowed the golden orb, and in an instant, his body underwent an astonishing transformation. His muscles became more compact, his red hair grew longer, and his eyes revealed a profound aura.

"What is this power?" Beerus was startled; he could feel the aura emanating from Son Goku becoming even more mysterious and powerful.

Son Goku did not answer; he charged directly at Beerus, his speed several times faster than before. Every one of his attacks carried immense power and an eerie glow, forcing even Beerus to respond with seriousness.

Beerus continuously parried Son Goku's fierce attacks, secretly marveling at this suddenly increased power. Son Goku's fists and kicks carried the sound of whistling wind, and each strike caused ripples in the surrounding space. His figure was as fast as lightning, weaving around Beerus, for a moment leaving the God of Destruction struggling to keep up.

"Hmph, interesting!" Beerus snorted, a hint of excitement in his eyes. It had been a long time since he had encountered an opponent who could make him take things this seriously. His purple aura surged violently, his power instantly rising, and his hands moved rapidly, creating trails of purple light that collided fiercely with Son Goku's attacks.

Each collision produced a deafening roar, and energy waves spread outward, tearing up layers of earth and stone from the ground once more. Son Goku showed no intention of backing down; utilizing his newly acquired mysterious power, he continuously searched for Beerus's openings, his fighting spirit growing ever higher.

Whis, watching from the side, also revealed a trace of surprise and curiosity in his eyes. He carefully observed Son Goku's movements and power fluctuations, the staff in his hand flickering gently as if recording the data of this extraordinary battle, attempting to analyze the source and mystery of this new power of Son Goku's.

Son Goku suddenly leaped high into the air, raising his hands above his head. A massive golden energy sphere rapidly gathered, surrounded by mysterious light and flashing with a dazzling radiance. "Taste this!" Son Goku shouted, then hurled the energy sphere down at Beerus with all his might.

Seeing this, Beerus dared not be careless. He stood firmly on the ground, pushed his hands upward, and an equally massive purple energy shield instantly appeared above his head. The golden energy sphere collided with the purple shield, instantly erupting into an extremely powerful energy shock. The light was so blinding that one could not keep their eyes open, and the entire Earth seemed to tremble under the impact of this power.
