A Spirit Ring condenses when a Soul Beast dies, with the Douluo Plane’s laws abstracting its memories into a Soul Mark. The stronger the Soul Beast’s existence, the greater the weighting applied to that imprint. 78

During absorption, a Martial Soul normally attracts only the more active, shallow rule fragments within the Soul Skill Rule Space. Lin Yan uses the Prajna Heart Lamp to enter this space directly and seek deeper fragments before absorption concludes. 7

Hundred-Thousand-Year Threshold

A Soul Beast that reaches one hundred thousand years undergoes a qualitative change in life level. Its correspondingly stronger soul imprint can anchor two rule fragments, allowing a natural hundred-thousand-year Spirit Ring to produce two soul skills. 78

Artificially raising an existing ring to one hundred thousand years does not create a second soul skill, because unused rule fragments dissipated when the original ring was absorbed. 78

Acquisition and Selection

• Higher-aged Spirit Rings generally produce stronger soul skills, but their absorption demands a sufficiently resilient body. Lin Yan prepared for a seven-thousand-year ring through whale glue, medicinal herbs, medicinal baths, and body-tempering training. 6

Exotic Flame Soul Rings

Semi-Finished Structure

An Exotic Flame Soul Ring condensed from a Heavenly Flame begins as a semi-finished ring. Its framework uses Heavenly Flame in place of the ordinary Soul Power shell, but it initially lacks both a Soul Beast-powered middle layer and a Soul Skill Rule Space. 50 79

Because Heavenly Flames are not inherently living beings, they do not naturally provide soul power or Soul Marks to anchor rule fragments. A normal Soul Beast Spirit Ring can supply the missing middle and inner layers through fusion. 79

Ring Condensation Method

Lin Yan and Electrolux develop the Ring Condensation Method after analyzing Spirit Ring structure. Lin Yan weaves a basic ring framework from Life Spirit Fire; once the framework is complete, the laws of heaven and earth recognize the semi-finished ring and complete its evolution. 79 80

The Life Spirit Fire ring absorbs the entire sea of derived Life Spirit Fire, including its source, before forming as a cyan-green Exotic Flame Soul Ring. After absorption, its flame source returns to Emperor Flame rather than remaining permanently inside the ring. 80

Dual-Ring Fusion

When the Life Spirit Fire ring merges with Lin Yan’s second Spirit Ring:

• The ordinary purple ring’s outer Soul Power layer is consumed by the Exotic Flame ring. 80
• Its remaining middle and core layers embed within the Exotic Flame ring. 80
• Life Spirit Fire purifies the Soul Beast’s life imprints from the middle layer. 80
• The Heavenly Flame source overlays the inner Soul Mark, forcing the originally intangible imprint into tangible form. 80

Following this fusion, manifested Flame Spirits can absorb heaven-and-earth essence, cultivate, evolve, and strengthen their corresponding source flames. As those source flames are parts of Emperor Flame, their growth also reinforces Lin Yan’s Martial Soul. 85

Rearrangement

An un-fused Exotic Flame Soul Ring has only a simple one-layer structure. Before it develops a Soul Skill Rule Space and a complete connection to the Martial Soul, Lin Yan can dismantle it, move it to another slot, or remove it entirely. 125

Lin Yan uses this property to dismantle the lower-essence Mystic Ice Fire ring, reserve the fourth slot for the Yin-Yang Dragon Flame, and later recreate the ice-blue ring in the sixth slot. 125 126
