The main Lin Family branch had few members, and Lin Yan became its undisputed heir after his parents’ deaths. Because Uncle Lin entrusted him with the family’s resources, Lin Yan was able to independently pursue his cultivation plans, beast-fire collection, and soul guidance research from a young age. 9

Before entering Shrek Academy, Lin Yan developed a blood-energy cultivation method called the Body Forging Art.
