Sikong Jing resisted Cang Lang while using the Cang Vein inheritance, then watched the Light-Returning Mirror reveal his parents’ desperate battle against the Heaven-Soaring Imperial Family over a decade earlier. The vision ended with Ling Xiaotian calling on the formation’s wronged souls and holding the newborn Sikong Xinyu after her mother died in childbirth.
Sikong Jing watched the Light-Returning Mirror reveal how Sikong Ding and Ling Xiaotian survived the Blood Demon Grand Formation battle and left Sikong Xinyu with Sikong Luomiao. The memory ended with Sikong Luomiao pleading for his great-granddaughter to be saved.
After watching the Light-Returning Mirror, Sikong Jing told the elders he had learned how to sever their Blood Demon shackles and prepared to free them. Chai Ren arrived before he could begin, so Sikong Jing moved the elders back into the crowd.
Sikong Jing guided the elders through the crowd while preparing to free them from their restraints, as Chai Ren searched for the Black Scale Little Demon. When Chai Ren threatened a child to force the demon’s return, Sikong Luomiao offered up Sikong Jing, whom Chai Ren recognized and approached.
Sikong Jing revealed that he had faked losing his spirit shadow, severed Chai Ren’s arm, and rescued the child. He then used his Nine Heavens Wind Leaf Sword to cut the blood threads binding everyone, leaving the weakened Blood Demon Grand Formation and Chai Ren’s threat unresolved.
Sikong Jing used the Nine Heavens Sword Bud Sprouting technique to awaken the seeds in the captives, restoring their true qi and strengthening his Qianyuan Battle-Killing Formation. As Chai Ren attacked, Sikong Jing launched a counterattack and pursued him in his Demonic Path Second-Layer Form.
Sikong Jing awakened the Nine Heavens Seeds and used the Qianyuan Battle-Killing Formation to overpower and kill Chai Ren. Chai Jiu witnessed his brother’s death and tried to flee into Zhan Hu’s body, but Sikong Jing warned that he would not be able to come back out.
Sikong Jing forced Chai Jiu to hesitate over whether to help Cang Lang, while he and Zhan Hu overwhelmed Cang Lang inside Zhan Hu’s spirit platform. Cang Lang was driven out of Zhan Hu’s body, leaving Chai Jiu still outside and undecided.
Sikong Jing’s plan forced Cang Lang out of Zhan Hu’s body, but Cang Lang tried to seize Chai Jiu’s body instead. Chai Jiu won their struggle and rose to face Sikong Jing, who had retreated with Zhan Hu and called for reinforcements.
Chai Jiu destroyed Cang Lang’s spirit shadow, took the Cang Vein inheritance, and confronted Sikong Jing, who concealed what Ling Yusong had said and denied knowing how to control the Blood Demon Grand Formation. Chai Jiu attacked to test Sikong Jing, but Zhan Hu suddenly opened his eyes.
Zhan Hu recovered enough to fight, and he and Sikong Jing battled Chai Jiu as the enemy kept the advantage. Outside the weakening Blood Demon Grand Formation, Su Yuexian appeared and asked what was happening inside.
Inside the Blood Demon Grand Formation, Sikong Jing strengthened his battle-killing formation by bringing in the Demonfolk and sharing the Demon Vein inheritance. The chapter ended with Sikong Jing breaking through to become a top-tier Emperor as Su Yuexian prepared to attack an ancient soul shadow outside the formation.
Sikong Jing and Zhan Hu overpowered Chai Jiu, who tried to retreat and hide until he could digest the Cang Vein inheritance. The Blood Demon Grand Formation then convulsed, and a terrifying face made of vengeful souls rose from the sea, which Sikong Jing recognized as Cang Lang.
Cang Lang’s spirit shadow revived in the Blood Demon Grand Formation and began devouring its vengeful souls, forcing Sikong Jing to prepare to enter demonization. Su Yuexian intervened with a sword strike that scattered the souls and pinned Cang Lang’s spirit shadow.
Su Yuexian killed Cang Lang, but he destroyed the Blood Demon Grand Formation as he died, leaving the people inside exposed to the Desolate Sea Absolute Formation. As the formation collapsed, Sikong Jing faced the urgent task of saving Sikong Luomiao and the others.
Sikong Jing awakened the wronged souls in the Blood Demon Grand Formation by revealing he was the son of Sikong Ding and Ling Xiaotian, then asked them to help save the living. With Xinyu's mother calming their resentment, the souls rallied behind him as he began the Nine Heavens Wind Soul Sword.
Sikong Jing used the Nine Heavens Wind Soul Sword and the wronged souls to drive the collapsing Blood Demon Grand Formation toward the Desolate Sea Forbidden Land. As the formation raced onward, he prepared for its eventual collapse and warned that Chai Jiu might attack the Cangyu Demon Sect.
Sikong Jing reunited with Six Leopard and Mud Armor, arranged for them to protect the survivors and gather supplies, and began preparing everyone to leave the Desolate Sea Absolute Formation. Su Yuexian escaped into the Boundless Sea to seek the power of her first life, while Chai Jiu pursued her in hopes of gaining her favor.
Chai Jiu left for Cangyu Island after gaining the Cang Vein inheritance, while Sikong Jing led the survivors through the Desolate Sea Absolute Formation. Sikong Jing and the others escaped, and the freed souls filled the sky around him.
Sikong Jing released the wronged souls and rescued survivors from the Blood Demon Grand Formation, then brought them to the Northern Wasteland to settle near his parents’ secret realm. He reunited with Sikong Ling and decided to establish a Sikong Family there, giving the survivors a home.
Sikong Jing planned to establish the Nine Heavens Hall in the Northern Wasteland, with Yao Yulou as its first Hall Master and A-Jin as deputy, to keep the Sikong survivors under control. He reassured Sikong Ling that he would search for their parents in the Boundless Sea while she stayed behind to cultivate, then left with her and Sikong Xinyu to meet their allies.
Sikong Jing returned to Chaos-Shaking City with news that Ling Yusong and the Boundless Sea powerhouse Chai Ren were dead, then explained the victory and dealt with Ling Yusong’s followers. He discussed Yao Yulou’s role in helping the Demon Dream Witch and told Su Yuexi he would go to the Cangyu Demon Sect alone for now, though his warning that the Desolate Sea Forbidden Land was not completely safe left their plans unsettled.
Sikong Jing warned Su Yuexi to stop using the Purple Spirit-Protecting Jade, unaware that it was the sinister Purple Night Mystic Jade and that its voice had begun to threaten her. After making arrangements in Chaos-Shaking City, he returned to the Northern Wasteland with Su Yuexi and others, where captured Cang Hai powerhouses asked what he planned to do with them.
Sikong Jing organized the Sikong Family and Nine Heavens Hall, then prepared to leave the Desolate Sea Forbidden Land after realizing the Cangyu Demon Sect had not sent for him. He set out for Cangyu Island with Su Yuexi seeing him off and carrying a hidden flower-blood drop for her future breakthrough.
Sikong Jing crossed the Desolate Sea Absolute Formation and returned to the Boundless Sea, intending to restore the Cangyu Demon Sect and find his parents. He reached Cangyu Island and discovered it surrounded by an immense fleet of Divine Shuttle Ships.
