Sikong Jing nearly succumbed to demonhood while devouring a Worry-Forget Sect woman, but the beasts used Su Yuexi’s voice to turn him toward the Long Night Imperial Capital. As he raced there, Lan Gou infiltrated Sixty-Six Town and threatened Su Yuexi and Mei Xiaofang.
Lan Gou abducted Su Yuexi and Mei Xiaofang from Sixty-Six Town to take revenge on Sikong Jing, while Xia Dielian witnessed the kidnapping and alerted Ning Jingjing. With help from a former Sixty-Six Legion subordinate, Lan Gou escaped the camp with his captives and headed for the Lan Family.
Ning Jingjing led her army toward Sixty-Seven Castle to find Su Yuexi and her daughter, while Sikong Jing arrived at the Long Night Black Flame Camp aboard a Worry-Forget Sect Divine Void Ship. After learning Su Yuexi was in Sixty-Six Town, Sikong Jing headed there, and he and Ning Jingjing caught sight of each other as the ship passed overhead.
Demonized Sikong Jing rescued Xia Dielian from Black Armor Warriors who had seized her for alerting Ning Jingjing to their kidnapping operation. He left the surviving leader unconscious and prepared to return to the Divine Void Ship without revealing his identity.
Sikong Jing learned that Su Yuexi and her mother-in-law had been captured, then rushed to Sixty-Seven Castle and confronted General Fu. He arrived as Fu Mian taunted Ning Jingjing, leaving Fu Mian injured and at his mercy.
Sikong Jing killed Fu Mian after learning that Lan Gou of the Lan Family had taken Su Yuexi, then rode toward the Lan Family with the Long Night Black Flame Camp’s demonic beasts following him. Ning Jingjing concealed what Fu Mian had revealed as Cao Yi questioned her about the massacre.
Ning Jingjing considered whether the Worry-Forget Sect had rescued Su Yuexi, while the demonized Sikong Jing reached the Long Night Imperial Capital and headed for the Lan Family. The chapter ended with Sikong Jing sensing that Su Yuexi was in danger as Lan Gou and Zhong Li prepared to abuse her and Mei Xiaofang.
Sikong Jing devoured a Worry-Forget Sect woman and lost his last reason as he rushed to save Su Yuexi from the Lan Family. He rescued Yuexi, but the Lan Family discovered that a host of demon beasts had gathered outside.
Surrounded by demonic beasts, Su Yuexi learned that Sikong Jing was on the verge of becoming a blood-devouring Magic Beast and tried to stop him from draining Zhong Li. The chapter ended with her clinging to his arm and urging him to stop, while his struggle between demonic instinct and his love for her continued.
Su Yuexi brought Sikong Jing back from the brink of becoming a blood-devouring beast by pleading with him to stop devouring power, and he agreed. After he saved Mei Xiaofang from Lan Gou and attacked the Lan Family, Su Yuexi concealed the truth about his transformation from her mother.
Sikong Jing left the Long Night Imperial Capital aboard the Worry-Forget Sect’s Divine Void Ship after Su Yuexi urged him to save Sikong Ling and promised to wait for his return. As the Qian Family plotted to kill Sikong Jing and capture Su Yuexi, the ship escaped under attack from the empire’s forces.
Sikong Jing annihilated the Qian Family after hearing them threaten Su Yuexi, then escaped Long Night amid a citywide Magic Beast riot. Beigong Xianfeng learned the Worry-Forget Sect had come to rescue Su Yuexi and questioned her about her connection to the sect.
Su Yuexi defended herself and Sikong Jing before Beigong Xianfeng and Cao Yi, explaining how Sikong Jing had destroyed the Worry-Forget Sect's forces and taken their Divine Void Ship. She left the commanders to decide whether to protect her family, warning that refusing could bring another demon-beast uprising to the Long Night Imperial Capital.
Su Yuexi persuaded Beigong Xianfeng to conceal Sikong Jing’s role in the beast unrest and blame the Worry-Forget Sect, while promising the humanoid beast would aid the Long Night Black Burn Army. Three days later, Sikong Jing arrived at Worry-Forget Mountain, where his sister Sikong Ling was in seclusion.
Sikong Jing reached the Worry-Forget Sect and secretly sought Sikong Ling, while Wang Qing arranged a trap to make Ling believe her brother had returned. The impersonator was killed before Ling could embrace him, leaving her grieving over his corpse as her breakthrough threatened her life.
Wang Qing crippled Sikong Ling and hid the evidence, but Sikong Jing arrived to find his sister dying and tried to repair her meridians. His demonic rescue drew the attention of Worry-Forget Sect disciples, who rushed into the palace and accused him of attacking her.
Sikong Jing devoured the Worry-Forget Sect disciples’ true qi to repair Sikong Ling’s meridians, but Mo Ci attacked him before he could finish. Sikong Ling awakened and began mastering the Supreme Emotionless Art, while Mo Ci ordered the sect to protect her and kill Sikong Jing.
Sikong Ling completed the Supreme Emotionless Art, reached the Dao Martial Realm, and was renamed Wang Ge and appointed Young Sect Master. She persuaded Mo Ci to let her pursue the wounded Sikong Jing with Wang Qing and sixty disciples, hiding her desire to confront Wang Qing for past mistreatment.
Wang Qing tried to manipulate Sikong Ling with the claim that her murdered brother was a fake, while Sikong Jing hid nearby and learned the truth about the Supreme Emotionless Art. Wang Qing planned to find Sikong Ling’s real brother and use his survival to shatter Sikong Ling’s cultivation.
Sikong Jing confronted Wangqing after she proposed joining forces to kill Sikong Ling, revealing that he had been protecting his sister and had repaired her meridians. He left Wangqing maimed after learning how hatred and extreme cold could suppress the Supreme Emotionless Art, while the Worry-Forget Sect pursued him and Sikong Ling returned to Wangqing.
Sikong Ling tortured Wangqing and rejected her claim that Sikong Jing was alive, while Sikong Jing hid inside the Ice Soul Cold Eagle’s corpse and heard his sister grieving nearby. He sought help from the beasts to save her from a cultivation backlash, but they warned that even a small reminder of hope could endanger her.
Sikong Jing obtained a tear from the Eternal Night Wolf King to protect Sikong Ling’s Dao Heart and learned he should acquire her Supreme Emotionless Art to modify it. After revealing himself as the demon beast who saved her, he hid his identity and asked Sikong Ling for the art, leaving her convinced he had saved her for its benefits.
Sikong Jing used the news that Sikong Ling had a sister-in-law to persuade her to accept the Eternal Night Wolf King's tear and hand over the Supreme Emotionless Art. Sikong Ling kept Sikong Jing alive in her thoughts as her dead brother, then returned to the Worry-Forget Sect determined to protect the humanoid beast and assert her authority.
Sikong Jing returned to Sixty-Six Town and learned that the Long Night Empire had blamed the Worry-Forget Sect for the humanoid demon beast’s attacks while concealing his role. Xia Dielian explained that Su Yuexi had kept his demonic transformation secret and told him to find General Ning; Su Yuexi was at Sixty-Six Castle for Su Zhenglong and the others’ Black Armor Warrior ceremony.
Sikong Jing and Xia Dielian rode toward Sixty-Six Castle as the Ninety-Nine Legion prepared to attack it with help from a traitor inside. Sikong Jing exposed the ambush and reasoned that the infiltrator was likely a leader among the newly added Black Armor Warriors, but he had not yet named the culprit.
