Sikong Jing left the Spirit Seal Realm for the Dark Demon Small World with the Willow Leaf Sacred Wall, while the Anti-Seal Faction prepared its next move. The Absolute Pill Emperor resolved to activate the Ten Absolutes’ rebirth plan and destroy the Dark Demon Small World if Sikong Jing grew too powerful there.
Sikong Jing entered the Dark Demon Small World and used the Spirit Root Divine Willow to shield himself and Tian Wuan’s group from demonic qi. He opened the Sacred Wall Gate, found the true Divine Willow sapling, and left Liu Duoye and Qianyuan War Emperor’s coffins inside; the chapter ended with him releasing Gan Wumie from the shattered Divine Martial Shadow Pearl.
Sikong Jing resurrected Gan Wumie and assigned him to guard the First Ten Thousand Beasts Heavenly Prison while he entered the sixth layer of the Nine Heavens Restriction to cultivate. After receiving news that the Anti-Seal Faction had escaped pursuit, he completed the sixth-layer Magic Beast trial and returned to the Nine Heavens Emperor’s sword trial.
Sikong Jing completed the sixth layer of the Nine Heavens Restriction, then paused to cultivate before entering the seventh layer. The Anti-Seal Faction seized the Eastern Heaven Dragon God Domain, while Sikong Jing faced a trial requiring him to cultivate two inheritances at once.
Sikong Jing endured the seventh-level trial, balancing the Nine Heavens Sword Dao against the Nine Heavens Magic Beast’s demonic power until he broke through to the Quasi-Emperor realm and successfully severed the beast’s demonic nature. He completed the level and learned that ten years had passed while he was inside, finding Gan Wumie and the Spirit Root Divine Willow both aged and withered.
Sikong Jing reached the seventh level and found Liu Duoye reborn with an exceptionally pure Spirit Race bloodline. After checking on his allies and the Spirit Root Divine Willow, he entered the eighth level, where the sword spirit Snowforge told him to go to the Burial Emperor Tomb and reach Emperor Venerable.
Sikong Jing received the Snow-Tempered Divine Sword’s warning that resurrection could cost him his memories, then entered the Burial Emperor Tomb and signaled Su Yuexi. In the twelfth year after his departure, the Spirit Seal Realm celebrated a new Emperor Venerable, but the Anti-Seal Faction faced a renewed threat when the Absolute Beast Emperor revealed he had possessed Yu Cangmeng.
After the Absolute Beast Emperor departed, the Anti-Seal Faction prepared to hold its ground while Sikong Jing returned to the Burial Emperor Tomb. Sikong Jing emerged into the Fire Evil Spirit region, where the Snow-Tempered Sword Spirit challenged him to use his Nine Heavens Sword Dao to escape.
Sikong Jing discovered that Tian Wuan, Shan Qiansu, and Xue Lin had triggered the Burial Emperor Tribulation after entering the Burial Emperor Tomb. He used the deadly lightning and their Black Tortoise Divine Armor to force them to accept his control, and Shan Qiansu agreed first.
Sikong Jing captured fire evil spirits and used them to force Tian Wuan, Shan Qiansu, and Xue Lin out of the Nine Heavens Emperor’s dangerous trial grounds. After removing their Black Tortoise Divine Armor, he left them with a lethal threat inside their spirit platforms and seas of consciousness, preventing them from attacking him.
Sikong Jing waited for Tian Wuan and the other two to undergo their Burial Emperor Tribulations, then searched for a giant tomb whose soil might save the withering Spirit Root Divine Willow shoot. He told Liu Duoye about the changes in the world and her possible Spirit Race origins, and the chapter ended as he approached a dark mountain amid strangely shifting evil baleful gas.
Sikong Jing discovered that an Emperor Venerable from the Primordial Cosmos Great World had crossed the Burial Emperor Battlefield into the Vast Cosmos side of the Burial Emperor Tomb. He hid nearby to learn how they had crossed and whether they had reached the Spirit Seal Realm, as the group set out to explore a giant tomb.
Sikong Jing watched a Primordial Cosmos force test the Yin Spirit Evil Qi and discovered that its members wielded the Nine Heavens Sword Dao. He suspected the Nine Heavens Emperor had crossed into the Primordial Cosmos and left behind a sword lineage, but the Snow-Tempered Sword Spirit could not confirm it.
Sikong Jing decided to infiltrate the Primordial Cosmos Great World party to learn how its people crossed the Burial Emperor Battlefield and acquired the Nine Heavens Sword Dao. He disguised himself as a survivor who had broken through to quasi-Emperor after being torn apart by Yin Spirit Evil Qi, and the Emperor Venerable questioned him aboard the Divine Cosmos Ship.
Sikong Jing was exposed as an intruder and left aboard the Divine Cosmos Ship under Fu Lun’s guard while Golden Bright Emperor and his forces entered Longfir Emperor’s tomb. The tomb’s defenses revealed signs that the Nine Heavens Emperor had left sword marks inside, and Sikong Jing faced interrogation as the expedition advanced.
Sikong Jing defeated Fu Lun and the Golden Bright Emperor’s remaining subordinates aboard the Divine Cosmos Ship, then interrogated Fu Lun about crossing the Burial Emperor Battlefield. Fu Lun realized Sikong Jing was from the Vast Cosmos Great World and asked why he was there.
Sikong Jing learned how the Primordial Cosmos Great World had begun sending forces into the Vast Cosmos Great World using the Nine Heavens Sword Dao. After killing Fu Lun and the other intruders, he concluded that at least five groups had already entered the Vast Cosmos.
Sikong Jing entered Longfir Tomb and revealed to Longfir Emperor that Golden Bright Emperor’s forces came from the Primordial Cosmos Great World, provoking the tomb’s defenses. Mingzhu then falsely exposed Sikong Jing as an invader too, and Longfir Emperor turned his fury on him.
Sikong Jing convinced Longfir Emperor that he was a native of the Vast Cosmos and showed him the Willow Leaf Sacred Wall, prompting Longfir Emperor to use his tomb’s fir forest to nourish the Spirit Root Divine Willow. As Golden Bright Emperor broke through the tomb’s defenses, Longfir Emperor prepared to sacrifice his remaining strength and sent Liu Duoye out, lamenting that he could not pass on his inheritance.
Sikong Jing sought a way to stop Golden Bright Emperor from destroying Longfir Tomb and interrupting Liu Duoye’s inheritance. After studying the Nine Heavens Emperor’s sword trace, he proposed trapping Golden Bright Emperor and his forces inside it with the Fire Evil Spirits.
Sikong Jing and Longfir Emperor trapped Golden Bright Emperor and his hundreds of thousands of followers inside the Nine Heavens Sword Qi cavern with formations and evil spirits. Golden Bright Emperor realized they were trapped, but dismissed Mingzhu’s suspicion that Absolute Sword’s sect was responsible.
Sikong Jing kept Golden Bright Emperor and his forces trapped in the Nine Heavens Sword Qi Cave while collecting more Fire Evil Spirits, but Tian Wuan, Shan Qiansu, and Xue Lin struggled through their tribulations. He returned to find Longfir Emperor’s spirit fading and prepared to strengthen the blockade around Golden Bright Emperor.
Golden Bright Emperor led his forces out of the Nine Heavens Sword Qi Cave, only to be driven back by a fresh surge of Fire Evil Spirits and lose a third of his subordinates. Sikong Jing and Longfir Emperor chose to abandon the attempt to kill him for now, and Sikong Jing asked Longfir Emperor to explain how the war between the Origin Universe and the Vast Universe began.
Sikong Jing and Liu Duoye departed Longfir Tomb aboard Golden Bright Emperor’s seized Divine Cosmos Ship after Longfir Emperor revived the Spirit Root Divine Willow and entrusted them with his remains and treasures. Longfir Emperor stayed behind to attack Golden Bright Emperor, and his tomb collapsed after leaving the enemy badly wounded.
Golden Bright Emperor survived the destruction of Longfir Tomb but lost his Divine Cosmos Ship and Nine Heavens Spirit Passage Shield, leaving him stranded with fewer than ten thousand subordinates and vowing revenge on the unknown sect of the Absolute Sword brat. A year later, Sikong Jing reached the area near the Sword Extinction Giant Tomb, but Gan Wumie could not find it.
