Sikong Jing reached the Ten-Spring Quasi-Emperor realm while searching for Sword Extinction Giant Tomb, but he learned that the tomb had disappeared. He discovered that Teng Bahun had been inside it, leaving his fate uncertain.
Sikong Jing learned that the Sword Extinction Giant Tomb had vanished and that people from the Primordial Cosmos Great World might have taken it. While investigating the Heaven-Soaring Giant Continent, he sensed his Demonic-Form Spirit Shadow there.
Sikong Jing learned that the Abyss Mad Demon Giant Beast had seen the Divine Cosmos Ship three years earlier near the far side of the Boundless Sea, raising questions about the Seven Decree Sect’s first arrival. The beast warned that he could not remain because people on the Heaven-Soaring Giant Continent were coming to capture him.
Sikong Jing used a captured centipede beast to draw faction leaders out and investigate the vanished Sword Extinction Giant Tomb and missing Teng Bahun while concealing his identity. Elsewhere, Ling Wangjiao led Divine Lord Stage forces from Heaven-Soaring Palace in capturing Purple Dust Pavilion, intending to use its members to force Teng Bahun to reveal whether he knew the Nine Heavens Sword Dao.
Ling Yuyue was targeted by Ling Wangjiao’s jealous maidservants after he recognized her Nine Heavens Sword Dao talent. As Sister Li prepared to kill her, a mysterious voice revealed that Sister Li had reached the Extreme Prison Stage, a realm forgotten by the Spirit Seal Realm.
Ling Yuyue accepted the demonic shadow’s offer to control her body and unleashed the Nine Heavens Sword Dao against Sister Li and the surrounding maids. When a squad led by a Divine Dao Stage expert arrived, the shadow returned control to her, leaving Ling Yuyue to face them alone.
Ling Yuyue was captured after the Demonic-Form Spirit Shadow used her sword to unleash the Nine Heavens Sword Dao, then revealed itself as part of Sikong Jing and began teaching her the sword art. Meanwhile, Sikong Jing remained disguised atop the centipede beast as powerful pursuers surrounded him and questioned his identity.
Sikong Jing learned that the Boundless Sea’s surviving factions had become variant humans and were searching for Teng Bahun, then sensed Ling Wangjiao’s Divine Lord Stage power and Nine Heavens Sword Qi near Purple Dust Pavilion. He headed there and found Ling Wangjiao traveling toward Sword Extinction Giant Tomb, where Ling Wangjiao lamented that the Nine Heavens Emperor’s essence blood was gone.
Ling Wangjiao and Heaven-Soaring Palace sought to seize the Nine Heavens Sword Dao from Teng Bahun before the Primordial Cosmos lords returned. Sikong Jing confronted their ship and realized the outsiders had already reached Heaven-Soaring Palace, giving him a chance to learn what had happened in the Spirit Seal Realm.
Sikong Jing confronted Ling Wangjiao and Heaven-Soaring Palace while disguised as a Seven Decree Sect disciple, then learned that Purple Dust Pavilion had been seized to find Ba Hun and the complete Nine Heavens Sword Dao. He revealed that Sword Extinction Giant Tomb had disappeared and prepared to take Purple Dust Pavilion with him.
Sikong Jing broke Ling Wangjiao’s suppression and revealed that he could wield Absolute Sword power. Lord Wudun of the Seven Decree Sect confronted him, and Sikong Jing began his first true battle as a Quasi-Emperor by striking with both Absolute Sword and Absolute Slaughter.
Sikong Jing overwhelmed Wudun and demanded that Heaven-Soaring Palace leave behind a Divine Lord Stage cultivator so he could question him about the Primordial Cosmos Great World's forces in the Spirit Seal Realm. Wudun fled with the others, leaving the standoff unresolved as Sikong Jing insisted the captive was needed to calm his friends in Purple Dust Pavilion.
Sikong Jing captured Ling Dongyang and questioned him about Seven Decree Sect, while Wudun fled with Ling Wangjiao and the others through the Void Rift World. Ling Dongyang revealed that Seven Decree Sect’s main interest was the Nine Heavens Sword Dao, leaving Sikong Jing to consider the sect’s motives.
Sikong Jing learned that the Seven Decree Sect was pursuing Nine Heavens Sword Dao and planned to visit Heaven-Soaring Palace to draw out the Primordial Cosmos sect that had taken the Sword Extinction Giant Tomb. After reuniting with the Purple Dust Pavilion, he ordered them to gather and prepare to contact allies, while Ling Dongyang realized Sikong Jing was the son of the Nine Heavens Successor.
Sikong Jing forced Ling Dongyang to help him infiltrate Heaven-Soaring Palace, then questioned Vast Sea experts about the Golden Bright Emperor’s ship and the vanished Sword Extinction Giant Tomb. After Sikong Jing left for Purple Dust Pavilion, Fire Pattern Bell arrived with Azure Fire General Camp troops and learned where Sikong Jing had gone.
Fire Pattern Bell investigated the Extreme Prison Stage and concealed Green Leaf Heavenly Emperor’s secrets by killing the Vast Sea experts who had witnessed him. Sikong Jing uncovered clues about the War Emperor Divine Flood Dragon’s remains, then learned an Imperial Venerable had appeared and prepared for battle.
Sikong Jing shielded the Purple Dust Pavilion from Fengwen Zhong’s pressure and recognized him as the Green Leaf Palace’s Azure Fire General Camp commander. After a Hundred-Spring Quasi-Emperor attacked, Sikong Jing and Ling Dongyang quickly subdued him, leaving Fengwen Zhong’s questions and motives unresolved.
Sikong Jing overwhelmed Fire Pattern Bell’s Heavenly Emperor Realm power and questioned him about Green Leaf Palace’s plans. Fire Pattern Bell revealed that the Green Leaf Heavenly Emperor had sent them to capture people connected to Teng Bahun, while Sikong Jing confirmed Fire Pattern Bell knew nothing of the Primordial Cosmos Great World.
Sikong Jing revealed the history of the Burial Emperor Spirit Seal Realm and the looming conflict between the Vast Cosmos and Primordial Cosmos Great Worlds to Fire Pattern Bell. He left with Purple Dust Pavilion, planning to use the threat of Seven Decree Sect’s return and his journey to Heaven-Soaring Realm to draw out hidden Origin Universe forces.
Sikong Jing set out for the Heaven-Soaring Realm while Fire Pattern Bell returned to Green Leaf Palace and reported his encounter with the Absolute Sword boy. Green Leaf Heavenly Emperor ordered him to investigate the visitors from the Primordial Cosmos Great World, then consulted a mysterious shadow that revealed concern over the Nine Heavens Sword Dao.
The Absolute Spirit Emperor empowered the Green Leaf Heavenly Emperor and ordered him to seize the Purple Dust Pavilion people from Absolute Sword. He then tried to recruit Teng Bahun, who refused to betray the Vast Cosmos, while the Spirit Seal Realm’s true sealing barrier was revealed in the Void Rift World.
Green Leaf Heavenly Emperor endured his first Burial Emperor Tribulation while recalling his secret alliance with Absolute Spirit Emperor and his plan to obtain the Sword Extinction Totem. Meanwhile, Wudun and Ling Wangjiao returned to Heaven-Soaring Palace, where Wuxian prepared for a threat he mistakenly believed was coming.
Wuxian ordered Heaven-Soaring Palace to prepare for a powerful enemy while avoiding open conflict with rival sects searching for the Nine Heavens Sword Dao. Ling Yuyue followed the Demonic-Form Spirit Shadow’s advice and stood up to Ling Wangjiao, who demanded that she demonstrate her sword art.
Ling Yuyue demonstrated the Nine Heavens Dark Demon Sword to Ling Wangjiao, who promoted her from maidservant to concubine in hopes of gaining favor with the Seven Decree Sect. The Demonic-Form Spirit Shadow seized control of her actions and forced her to demand a far greater status, leaving Ling Yuyue facing Ling Wangjiao’s threats.
Ling Yuyue used the promise of Sikong Jing’s Nine Heavens Sword Dao to make Ling Wangjiao agree to take her before the Heaven-Soaring Palace Master. The Demonic-Form Spirit Shadow insisted on meeting Ling Liaoyuan, but Ling Yuyue knew the promised inheritance was false, and they arrived as Wuxian berated Ling Liaoyuan for failing to break through.
