After Fire Dragon Mountain was purged of Lei Hongteng’s allies, Sikong Jing discussed how to save the injured Qin Heng and counter Lei Hongteng. He proposed hiding inside Qin Heng’s demon dragon mount to reach him, leaving the group to find a cure for Qin Heng’s condition.
Sikong Jing revealed that he possessed the Gold Dragon and Cloud Dragon medicines needed to treat Qin Heng, then entered Qin Heng’s demon dragon mount to reach him. As Lei Hongteng prepared to convene the Long Night Sacred Dragon Assembly, Huo Yanmei vowed to protect Sikong Jing no matter what happened.
Sikong Jing secretly traveled inside the Overlord Sacred Dragon to reach Qin Heng, who was near death under Lei Hongteng’s surveillance. Sikong Jing used two kinds of dragon-vein true energy to revive him, and Qin Heng realized Sikong Jing had been the one to challenge the Gold Dragon Mountain Road.
Sikong Jing revealed that he had also conquered Dark Dragon Mountain Road before Qin Heng staged his death to uncover Lei Hongteng’s plans. The chapter left Qin Heng’s loyalists resisting Lei Hongteng’s threats while the Holy Dragon Assembly began with only a few leaders present.
Lei Hongteng used Qin Heng’s reported death to push for a new Deputy Palace Master and crush Qin Luo’s supporters. The chapter ended with Lei Hongteng’s allies nominating him for the position at the Qin family residence.
Lei Hongteng became Deputy Palace Master and led the elders to mourn Qin Heng, expecting to consolidate his power. Qin Heng revealed he was alive and credited Sikong Jing with reviving him, leaving everyone stunned.
Qin Heng confronted Lei Hongteng after exposing his claim to the vice palace master position, while Huo Yanmei and Liu Shan joined Qin Heng’s side. As Lei Hongteng invoked Star Luo Palace to prevent a decisive fight, Sikong Jing challenged his claim that the two sides were evenly matched.
Sikong Jing brought Dark Dragon Mountain into Qin Heng’s alliance, turning the Sacred Dragon Palace conflict against Lei Hongteng. After Lei Zizhen threatened Baili Que’s life, he challenged Sikong Jing to a fight to the death on the Life-and-Death Platform.
Sikong Jing accepted Lei Zizhen’s challenge on the Life-and-Death Platform to secure Baili Que’s location and fight for her release. As the duel began, Sikong Jing revealed that he had broken through from the peak Martial Sect Realm to the Mystic Heaven First Realm.
Sikong Jing broke through to the Third Profound Heaven Realm during his battle with Lei Zizhen and defeated him with a single palm strike. After killing Lei Zizhen and crippling Lei Hongteng, Sikong Jing left to stabilize his cultivation while Qin Heng promised to tell him when there was news of Baili Que.
After Sikong Jing defeated Lei Zizhen and helped end the Thunder Dragon Mountain rebellion, Qin Heng punished the Lei Family and rewarded Sikong Jing and others. Two days later, several mountain headmasters converged on Sikong Jing to recruit him, leaving him caught in their competition.
Sikong Jing escaped the rival academy masters trying to recruit him and met with Qin Heng, who asked him to serve as a surprise weapon in a life-and-death battle against Star Luo Palace one month later. Sikong Jing revealed that he had caused Star Luo Palace’s destruction, leaving Qin Heng and Wen Hu stunned.
Sikong Jing asked Qin Heng for demon beast inner cores and access to Demon Dragon Valley so he could grow stronger before the life-and-death battles. After three days of cultivation, he reached the peak of the Mystic River Realm, but an unfamiliar divine presence arrived and called for Shen Qingye.
Ma Daoming confronted Qin Heng over Holy Dragon Palace’s failed attempt to rescue Baili Que, then demanded access to the Seven Dragon Mountain Path. He Jia challenged the palace’s disciples to make him retreat, and Qin Luo asked Qin Heng for permission to fight.
Sikong Jing arrived at the Long Night Holy Dragon Palace and volunteered to face He Jia, who had challenged its students. He struck He Jia twice in the chest, but neither fighter appeared to move, leaving the onlookers laughing as the outcome remained unclear.
Sikong Jing immobilized He Jia and humiliated him in their duel, forcing Ma Daoming to release the captured Sacred Dragon Palace experts. After learning Lang Yizhan had set a trap to draw them out, Sikong Jing demanded Baili Que’s release, while Ma Daoming threatened to kill her.
Sikong Jing forced the Heavenly Dao Palace to reveal that Lang Yizhan had taken Baili Que aboard a ship bound for Long Night Heaven-Questioning City, then pursued them with Lang Yisuo. The Sacred Dragon Palace detained the Heavenly Dao Palace forces, while Sikong Jing and Lang Yisuo boarded the Long Inquiry Divine Void Ship and faced its guards.
Sikong Jing and Lang Yisuo confronted the Changheng crew for allowing Lang Yizhan to board after he captured Holy Dragon Palace students. After defeating the guards and Captain Di, they learned Lang Yizhan was in Flower Inquiry Hall and headed into the cabin.
Captain Di planned to summon Ten Thousand Treasures Pavilion reinforcements to trap the two Long Night Holy Dragon Palace disciples aboard the ship, while Lang Yizhan arranged a banquet game to force Baili Que into marriage. The young masters eagerly accepted the prospect, and Baili Que remained bound and unable to speak.
Sikong Jing barged into Flower Inquiry Hall to confront Lang Yizhan over Baili Que, swiftly overpowering the guards and challenging Lang Yizhan. Lang Yizhan revealed his Mystic Riverway Realm strength and attacked Sikong Jing with his soft sword.
Sikong Jing overwhelmed Lang Yizhan with the Blackforged Darkhook Eighteen Claws, rescued Baili Que, and drove Lang to flee inside his treasure bell. Sikong Jing and Baili Que headed for the deck as a young master warned him about the consequences of killing Lang Yizhan.
Sikong Jing confronted Lang Yizhan aboard the Long Inquiry Divine Void Ship and stopped him from escaping, intending to force him to kneel and beg Lang Yisuo for mercy. Lang Yizhan’s threats and confidence returned when Captain Di invoked the Ten Thousand Treasures Pavilion’s power.
Sikong Jing exposed Lang Yizhan’s contempt for his second brother, Lang Yisuo, and helped Lang Yisuo assert his authority. After Lang Yizhan knelt and begged for his life, Sikong Jing forced him to write a letter recommending that Lang Yisuo take charge of the Long Night Empire’s business.
Sikong Jing forced Lang Yizhan to write and send a letter before rescuing Lang Yisuo from his schemes. As Sikong Jing, Lang Yisuo, and Baili Que departed, Lang Yisuo reflected on who truly deserved his trust, and Sikong Jing asked Baili Que where the Thousand Cold Red Lotus Core had gone.
Sikong Jing learned that Shui Yuyin had taken the Thousand Cold Red Lotus Core to Heaven-Questioning City for her grandfather’s birthday. To reach the Water Family before the banquet, he obtained an untamed Dark Wing Dragon Eagle, then approached it despite warnings.
