Sikong Jing steadied himself, led the Eternal Night Wolf Guard through Wind Reflection Lake to replenish their strength, and killed the Palace Master of the War Soul Star Luo Palace with the Eternal Night Ice Dance Blade. The battle continued for hours as the pursuing army pressed its siege around the bloodied lake.
Sikong Jing led the seven hundred Eternal Night Wolf Guards through an army of millions and escaped, prompting the War Soul Dynasty to mobilize reinforcements to hunt him down. After receiving intelligence two days later, Sikong Jing realized their pursuit had drawn the dynasty’s attention away from General Ning’s situation.
As Sikong Jing left to rendezvous with Ning Jingjing, he ordered Lian Guang and the Eternal Night Wolf Guard to draw the War Soul Dynasty’s attention and stay alive. Meanwhile, the Tyrant Heaven Chamber of Commerce finalized its new ranking, placing Sikong Jing thirtieth and Wang Ge twenty-ninth.
Ren Dongmeng’s report of Sikong Jing’s draw with Gongyang Ying set the stage for Sikong Jing and Wang Ge to be targeted, while Sikong Ling learned in the Northern Mountains that her master Mo Ci had died. The chapter left Sikong Ling asking who had killed Mo Ci, as the Great Elder tried to keep Sikong Jing’s name from her.
Sikong Jing returned to the besieged Soulfall Bandits and led them toward the Northern Mountains while Lu Lingun pursued. At the mountains, Sikong Jing unleashed a beast tide with blood containing the Lord of Ten Thousand Beasts’ essence, leaving the War Soul Dynasty army in panic.
Sikong Jing tricked Lu Lingun into believing a beast tide was coming, allowing the Soulfall Bandits to escape into the northern mountains. After learning that Sikong Jing’s wolf-blood warriors had also escaped, Lu Lingun collapsed, while Sikong Jing’s exhausted group rested and he reaffirmed his determination to save Wang Ge.
Ren Dongmeng told Sikong Jing that he had risen to thirtieth on the Eastern Plains Thousand Tyrants Ranking, intensifying his fear that his sister Wang Ge would be exposed. Sikong Jing entered seclusion to perfect the Supreme Emotionless Art, while Lian Kegu confronted the War Soul Sacred Dragon Palace leaders and demanded Qiu Baichu’s death.
Qiu Qifeng used Sikong Jing’s plan to destroy Lian Kegu’s Bloodforged Pursuit Dragon and lure him into the altered natural formation, where Qiu Qifeng launched an attack. Qiu Baichu revealed that Sikong Jing’s demonic blood had caused the dragon’s collapse, as the story left Qiu Qifeng fighting to advance resistance against the Sacred Dragon Central Academy.
War Soul Sacred Dragon Palace rebelled against Sacred Dragon Central Academy, defeated Lian Kegu’s forces, and then failed to stop the wounded Lian Kegu from escaping. Lian Kegu headed for the Northern Mountains to kill Wang Ge, while Qiu Baichu rode a dragon beast north to warn Sikong Jing.
Qiu Baichu found Sikong Jing and warned him that Lian Kegu was hunting Wang Ge in the Northern Mountains, prompting Sikong Jing to leave his army and search for her. As Sikong Jing followed Lian Kegu’s trail, Mo Sang learned that the Worry-Forget Sect was under threat, and a hostile figure appeared before her and Sikong Ling.
Lian Kegu returned to kill Wang Ge and began revealing who had killed her master, Mo Ci. Sikong Jing arrived to take responsibility for his crimes, but Lian Kegu exposed his identity to Wang Ge.
Lian Kegu revealed to Sikong Ling that Sikong Jing might be her brother, and her emotions broke the Supreme Emotionless Art. Sikong Jing struggled to form a new art as Sikong Ling recognized his voice and her condition worsened.
Sikong Jing revealed himself to save his dying sister, Sikong Ling, and held her as she fell asleep. He tried to preserve her last breath with the Eternal Night Wolf King's Tears, while the chapter left her survival uncertain.
Sikong Jing discovered that the Eternal Night Wolf King's tears were keeping Sikong Ling alive, but he chose to fall toward demonhood so he could protect her from Lian Kegu. After transforming into the Blood Devour Magic Beast, he summoned terror among the nearby demon beasts and prepared to unleash a greater power.
Sikong Jing devoured demonic power, reached the Soul-Reversal Realm, killed Lian Kegu and Mo Sang, and rushed toward the War Soul Imperial Capital with Sikong Ling. Meanwhile, Furious Horizontal confronted Gongyang Ren and Gongyang Ying over the deaths of his disciples and demanded compensation.
Furious Horizontal abducted Gongyang Ying and tried to force her into marriage, but Sikong Jing arrived at the Imperial Preceptor's Residence carrying his gravely ill sister, Sikong Ling. After asking Gongyang Ren to treat her, Sikong Jing moved to save Gongyang Ying from Furious Horizontal.
Sikong Jing killed Furious Horizontal and the Horizontal Blade Sect experts, then forced Gongyang Ren to treat Sikong Ling by holding Gongyang Ying hostage. Gongyang Ren obtained a fresh Eternal Night Wolf King's Tear and prepared to use it to save Sikong Ling, while Sikong Jing was certain her cultivation art would be compatible with its energy.
Gongyang Ren used the Eternal Night Wolf King's Tears to restore Sikong Ling, whose identity as Wang Ge was revealed as her Supreme Emotionless Art cultivation returned. Wang Ge recovered and reached the third level of the Extraordinary Realm, while Sikong Jing remained by her bedside as Gongyang Ying mocked his apparent unreliability.
Sikong Jing reunited Sikong Ling with her brother’s identity still concealed, then spared Gongyang Ren and Gongyang Ying while warning them to keep the encounter secret. He left for the Northern Mountains with Sikong Ling, and Gongyang Ren realized the danger had brought him a valuable gift.
Gongyang Ren and Gongyang Ying concealed Sikong Jing’s humanoid monster beast and learned that the Eternal Night Wolf King’s Tears could strengthen Ying’s Moon Soul Battle Body. In the Northern Mountains, Sikong Jing struggled against demonic corruption and ordered Sikong Ling to cut off his left hand.
Sikong Ling severed Sikong Jing’s left arm to save him from the demonic power, and his monster form receded, revealing that he was her brother. After waking, Sikong Jing comforted Ling’er as she blamed herself for his injury.
Sikong Jing recovered the frozen beast arm and told Sikong Ling how Mo Ci had repeatedly tried to kill him, leaving Ling'er grieving and furious. He rewrote the Supreme Emotionless Art so Ling'er could cultivate through emotion and loyalty, then began studying how to reattach his arm as she entered cultivation.
Lu Chi took command from Lu Lingun and led an army into the Northern Mountains to intercept Sikong Jing, where a beast tide overwhelmed his forces. Meanwhile, Sikong Jing grafted a powerful beast arm onto himself, and Gongyang Ying reached the first level of the Extraordinary Realm.
Sikong Jing reunited with Sikong Ling, returned to the Long Night Empire with the Sixty-Sixth Legion and the Soulfall Bandits, and agreed to let his sister return to the Worry-Forget Sect. The chapter ended with the sect elders surrounding Sikong Ling and demanding to know where the Grand Elder was.
Sikong Ling returned to Worry-Forget Sect and learned that its forces were heading to the Long Night Imperial Capital, so she resolved to go there and protect Sikong Jing. Ten days later, Sikong Jing reached the capital with the Sixty-Sixth Legion, where citizens celebrated the army’s victory and argued over his role in it.
