Sikong Jing revealed that he had lured the Jade Appraisal forces into his Beast Slaughter Array and launched an attack while advancing to the Fourth Reverse Soul Realm. As Hua Meixi’s Sacred Body aura erupted, Sikong Jing began restoring the jade pendant and called on Yao Yulou to hold off the enemy.
Sikong Jing completed a jade pendant that helped Jiang Wanyou suppress the Fierce Charm aura while he turned the battle against the Jade Appraisal forces. He defeated their commanders and ordered them captured alive, then learned that Pei Fenqing was the nephew of the Chaos-Shaking City branch president.
Sikong Jing killed Pei Fenqing despite Pei Feishan’s arrival and threats, declaring that the Eastern Tyrant Branch would bear the consequences. Pei Feishan attacked in fury, but Yao Yulou appeared to shield Sikong Jing.
Yao Yulou intervened when Pei Feishan attacked the Heavenly Wolf Team, then pursued him after Pei Feishan captured Hua Meixi. Pei Feishan found no Fierce Charm Sacred Body in Hua Meixi or Jiang Wanyou, and Yao Yulou blamed Pei Fenqing’s death on Pei Feishan’s refusal to trust him.
Yao Yulou protected Sikong Jing from Pei Feishan until Duanmu Chun arrived and drove Pei away. Sikong Jing then prepared to go to the Yang Residence to kill the mastermind behind Jiang Wanyou’s kidnapping, asking Yao Yulou to join him.
Sikong Jing left Nameless Mountain Manor with Grandpa Wan San to pursue Wan Tonghui, while Yao Yulou stayed behind and concealed what he knew from the arriving Eastern Tyrant Branch experts. Jiang Wanyou revealed that Sikong Jing had defeated the Jade Appraisal Chamber of Commerce’s forces and killed Pei Fenqing, leaving the experts stunned and eager to learn how he had done it.
Jiang Wanyou confirmed that Sikong Jing had planned the Army-Slaying Formation battle, but Yao Yulou concealed Sikong Jing’s whereabouts while the Eastern Tyrant Branch debated whether to pursue Wan Tonghui. Yao Yulou agreed to seek conclusive evidence, then reminded Duanmu Chun that Sikong Jing’s victory over Pei Fenqing would bring the branch enormous prestige, and challenged him to imagine his own family being kidnapped.
Yao Yulou learned that Sikong Jing had taken evidence and Grandpa Wan San to the Yang Residence, and he went to support him while protecting Jiang Wanyou and Hua Meixi. On the way, Sikong Jing persuaded Grandpa Wan San to reveal Wan Tonghui’s crimes and broke through to the Fifth Reverse Soul Realm.
Duanmu Chun considered Sikong Jing’s victory over Pei Fenqing and set out to speak privately with Yang Zhi, while the engagement banquet continued without news of the search for Jiang Wanyou. Wan Tonghui reassured himself that Sikong Jing was dead, unaware that his fate remained unconfirmed.
Sikong Jing arrived at the Yang Residence banquet carrying Wan Tonghui’s Third Granduncle’s bracelet, exposing Wan Tonghui’s failed attempt to have him silenced. Yang Li and the captains mistook the gift for an apology and demanded Sikong Jing surrender his treasures and allies, but he called Yang Li pathetic.
At Yang Li and Wan Tonghui’s engagement banquet, Sikong Jing challenged Wan Tonghui to a life-and-death battle while hinting that he knew about Wan Tonghui’s secrets. Before Wan Tonghui could respond, a Dream Seizing captain attacked Sikong Jing and was sent flying by a single slap.
Sikong Jing killed Captain Duomeng at the Yang Residence after the captain attacked him, then demanded that Wan Tonghui fight him. Yang Li stopped the guards when Sikong Jing claimed Wan Tonghui had wronged her, and Wan Tonghui stepped forward to handle Sikong Jing himself.
Sikong Jing forced Wan Tonghui into a life-and-death duel at the Yang Residence, aiming to test his strength and buy time for Yao Yulou to arrive. Their battle began with Wan unleashing his sword techniques and Sikong charging into the sword vortex, while the watching captains wondered why Sikong was so confident despite being surrounded by Yang Residence experts.
Sikong Jing fought Wan Tonghui evenly at the Yang Residence while the onlookers misunderstood his motives. Away from the engagement banquet, Li Feng told Yang Zhi that Wan Tonghui was likely involved in kidnapping Yao Yulou's woman and colluding with the Jade Appraisal Chamber of Commerce.
Yang Zhi learned that Wan Tonghui was suspected of kidnapping Hua Meixi and refused Duanmu Chun’s demand to hand him over to Yao Bajue. He proposed framing another man as the masked culprit, while Sikong Jing remained a threat because he might have evidence against Wan Tonghui.
Yang Zhi tried to protect Wan Tonghui while secretly ordering Sikong Jing’s death, as Duanmu Chun confronted him over the case. Sikong Jing overwhelmed Wan Tonghui, but a Yang Family elder attacked him with a concealed Emperor Martial Stage sword strike just as Yao Yulou arrived.
Yao Yulou stopped a Yang Family elder from secretly attacking Sikong Jing and prevented the Yang Family from interfering in Sikong Jing and Wan Tonghui’s life-and-death battle. Duanmu Chun arrived and demanded an account of the chaos, while Yang Zhi secretly summoned reinforcements.
Sikong Jing forced the Yang Family to address Wan Tonghui’s suspected role in Jiang Wanyou’s kidnapping by exposing the stakes of their life-or-death duel. Duanmu Chun questioned Wan Tonghui about his whereabouts, and Wan Tonghui’s denial faltered when Duanmu Chun named his accuser.
At the Yang Residence hearing, Wan Tonghui denied masterminding the kidnapping of Yao Yulou’s wife, while Duanmu Chun revealed that she had identified him and that she was abducted by mistake. Sikong Jing testified that he had seen Wan Tonghui remove his mask, leaving the case to hinge on whether Sikong Jing had recorded the scene.
Sikong Jing revealed that he had no Light-Returning Mirror to prove Wan Tonghui’s identity, then relied on their agreed fight to the death to attack him. Duanmu Chun upheld the agreement and protected Sikong Jing, choosing to stand with Yao Yulou despite Yang Zhi’s threat to his position.
Sikong Jing crippled Wan Tonghui during their life-and-death duel while Duanmu Chun and Di Geng held back the Yang Family. Yao Yulou prepared to finish Wan Tonghui, but Sikong Jing turned attention to Grandpa Wan San’s bracelet, hinting it contained evidence against him.
Sikong Jing exposed Wan Tonghui’s kidnapping plot and collusion with the Jade Appraisal Chamber of Commerce, forcing Grandpa Wan San to confess and take his own life. Yao Yulou punished Wan Tonghui, while Sikong Jing and Duanmu Chun departed for East Tyrant Courtyard, leaving Yang Zhi intent on killing Sikong Jing but unable to act for now.
After Yao Yulou killed Wan Tonghui, Yang Zhi vowed revenge and moved to have Duanmu Chun replaced. Aboard the flying vulture, Duanmu Chun discovered Sikong Jing had achieved Spirit Martial Fusion, then challenged him for acting without reporting Wan Tonghui's crimes.
Sikong Jing explained to Duanmu Chun why he had kept the evidence against Wan Tonghui and acted to kill him, despite worsening his standing with Yang Zhi. Duanmu Chun reflected on his own compromises as Sikong Jing asked to return to rest.
After Sikong Jing explained his actions at the Yang Residence, Duanmu Chun recognized his fierce independence but struggled to decide whether he deserved support. Di Geng questioned how to handle Sikong Jing’s major merits, and Duanmu Chun asked for his opinion.
