Chapters 2301–2325 Vol. 24 Read

Ch. 2301The Hesitant, Either Dead or Wounded

Sikong Jing took command of the Cosmic Vein and Demon Vein forces, using the opening clash to eliminate Cosmic Vein members who hesitated to obey. He left the battle under his control as Ying Sanmeng and Zhan Hu backed his authority.

  • Sikong Jing ordered the Cosmic Vein to retreat in formation and remove their shackles while Ying Sanmeng and the elders joined him in the attack.
  • Some Cosmic Vein elders hesitated, and the first clash killed or injured Cosmic Vein members who had failed to follow the defensive orders.
  • Sikong Jing told the survivors that hesitation had scattered their true qi, then explained to Chai Ren that he had brought the conflict within the ranks to a head before the enemy could exploit it.
  • Chai Jiu accused Sikong Jing of deliberately killing disobedient Cosmic Vein members, and Sikong Jing said he needed absolute control to protect the forces that remained.
  • Zhan Hu called Sikong Jing the Demon Vein's master, while Ying Sanmeng ordered the Cosmic Vein to obey him; Teng Yue understood why the hesitant members had died and felt anger toward them.

Ch. 2302His Ruthlessness Planted the Seeds of Disaster

Teng Yue rallied the Cosmic Vein behind Sikong Jing and joined the devils in resisting the Cang Vein’s assault. Chai Jiu withdrew to summon reinforcements, confident that tensions within the Cosmic Vein would soon erupt again.

  • Teng Yue slapped a wounded Saint Martial elder for disparaging the devils, then ordered the Cosmic Vein members to retreat and follow the Demon Vein Lord’s commands.
  • Sikong Jing and Ying Sanmeng led the devils and Cosmic Vein in holding back the Cang Vein, though the allied forces were gradually pushed back.
  • Sikong Jing ordered Teng Yue to form a Tyrant Soul Army-Slaying Formation, and the freed Cosmic Vein members joined it to strengthen the defense.
  • The combined forces stopped the Cang Vein’s assault, and Chai Jiu ordered his people to withdraw while reinforcements were mobilized.
  • Chai Jiu predicted that resentment over the Cosmic Vein’s casualties would resurface and cause conflict, then led the Cang Vein forces away.

Ch. 2303Conflict? This is a Good Thing!

Sikong Jing warned Teng Yue that Chai Jiu expected renewed conflict between the Demon Vein and the Cosmic Vein, then learned why Tyrant Soul Venerable had left Cangyu Sect. He proposed using a staged clash to lower Chai Jiu’s guard and prepared to lead the demonfolk back into the prison.

  • Teng Yue apologized to Sikong Jing for the Cosmic Vein members’ resentment, and Sikong Jing explained that Chai Jiu expected the two factions to fight again.
  • Teng Yue told Sikong Jing that Tyrant Soul Venerable had left three years earlier to seek a way home and could no longer enter the Desolate Sea Absolute Formation after reaching the Divine Martial Stage.
  • Sikong Jing reasoned that Tyrant Soul Venerable’s repeated failures to reach the Central Plains had driven him to seek another route across Boundless Sea.
  • Sikong Jing told Teng Yue that renewed conflict could work to their advantage because it might make Chai Jiu and his allies lower their guard.
  • Sikong Jing planned to lead the demonfolk back into the prison and told Teng Yue to follow and try to persuade him.
  • Teng Yue turned toward approaching young people who supported two injured Cosmic Vein Saint Martial elders, their faces full of hatred.

Ch. 2304The Demon, is Evil

The Cosmic Vein elders accused Black Scale and the Demon Vein of plotting against them, then demanded Sikong Jing submit to their authority. Sikong Jing rejected their terms and ordered the Demon Vein to retreat into the prison, leaving the Cosmic Vein to face its fate alone.

  • A Cosmic Vein Saint Martial elder and two youths accused Black Scale of trying to kill their elders and stir up conflict with the Cosmic Vein.
  • Ying Sanmeng tried to silence the accusers, but the elders claimed the demonfolk were evil and used the Cosmic Vein's resentment to pressure him.
  • The Saint Martial elders demanded that Sikong Jing kneel in apology, surrender command, and swear the Demon Vein would treat the Cosmic Vein as supreme.
  • Sikong Jing refused and ordered all Demon Vein members to follow him into the prison, while the Cosmic Vein elders cried out for him to stop.

Ch. 2305You Call Yourselves Worthy of Acknowledging Demon Veins?

Sikong Jing led the demonfolk into the prison after the Cosmic Vein elders demanded their obedience and refused to respect them. Ying Sanmeng tried to explain and sent Teng Yue after Sikong Jing, while Chai Jiu decided the Cang Vein should wait and avoid destroying the Cosmic Vein.

  • Sikong Jing rejected the Cosmic Vein's demands, declared that the Demon Vein could seek its inheritance without their recognition, and led the demonfolk into the prison.
  • Ying Sanmeng pleaded with Sikong Jing to reconsider, but Sikong Jing refused to turn back and continued into the prison.
  • Teng Yue stopped Ying Sanmeng from following and entered the prison himself to persuade Sikong Jing, as Ying Sanmeng feared the Cang Vein would attack the Cosmic Vein.
  • Ying Sanmeng blamed the two Saint Martial elders for driving the demonfolk away and ordered them seized.
  • Chai Jiu told the Cang Vein to advance only as a show and not to attack, hoping Sikong Jing would return.

Ch. 2306He Deploys Troops, I Deploy Troops

Sikong Jing used the conflict between the Cosmic Vein and Demon Vein to conceal plans to mobilize demon forces and strengthen his control over them. He ordered Teng Yue to demand the deaths of two Holy Martial Elders and their disciples before the Demon Vein would act again.

  • Sikong Jing gave the demons the Demonic Battle Heaven-Constant Art, sharing its first three levels broadly and its complete form with several powerful demons.
  • Sikong Jing ordered Zhan Hu and the demon commanders to summon every demon force from the Gods and Devils Island Sea, promising to provide Divine Shuttle Ships.
  • Sikong Jing explained to Teng Yue that the Cang Vein would hold back because it feared he would pursue the Demon Vein's inheritance instead of rescuing the Cosmic Vein.
  • Sikong Jing told Teng Yue to inform Vein Master Ying that the two Holy Martial Elders who had targeted him and their disciples must be killed, with their heads brought to him before the Demon Vein would move.

Ch. 2307Terrifying Talents, Breakthroughs Galore

Sikong Jing sent demons to rally their forces and urged those remaining to cultivate, triggering a wave of breakthroughs. Outside the prison, Teng Yue killed a young disciple who insulted Sikong Jing after the two captured elders rejected his demand.

  • Teng Yue accepted Sikong Jing's conditions and left the prison to report them to the Cosmic Vein.
  • Sikong Jing gave more than a hundred demons message birds and Divine Shuttle Ships, then used the Space Sacred Key to send them out of Gods and Devils Island.
  • Sikong Jing told the demons who remained to cultivate the Demonic Battle Heaven-Constant Art, and demons began breaking through one after another.
  • The two captured Saint Martial elders angrily rejected Sikong Jing's demand, while Ying Sanmeng and the Cosmic Vein forces hesitated.
  • Teng Yue killed a young disciple who berated him and insulted Sikong Jing.

Ch. 2308Establishment, Young Vein Master

Teng Yue executed the disciples of two Sacred Martial elders and watched Cosmic Vein powerhouses kill the elders, while they named him Young Vein Master. He returned to the prison carrying the heads and found it surrounded by demon men radiating overwhelming true qi.

  • Teng Yue killed the disciples of the two Sacred Martial elders and challenged the Cosmic Vein elders to deal with their leaders.
  • A group of middle-aged Cosmic Vein experts moved to seize Teng Yue, but Ying Sanbo took Teng Yue's sword and killed the first Sacred Martial elder.
  • Ying Sanbo explained that the Cosmic Vein powerhouses had agreed to make Teng Yue Young Vein Master because he had inherited the first master's legacy and passed the Heart-Testing Illusion Realm.
  • Ying Sanmeng nodded to the decision, and another middle-aged expert killed the second Sacred Martial elder.
  • Teng Yue accepted the position and returned to the prison, where he found crowds of demon men gathered outside amid surging demonic intent.

Ch. 2309Collective Demon Repulsion, Re-entering the Barrier

Teng Yue witnessed the Demon Vein’s people rapidly shedding their demonic forms and breaking through under Sikong Jing’s influence. Sikong Jing sent Teng Yue out to stall Chai Jiu, then prepared to lead the Demon Vein forces into the barrier and rescue the sacrifices; an unfamiliar Black-Clothed Youth entered the prison.

  • Teng Yue watched Zhan Hu reach the Saint Martial Stage and shed his demonic form as the other Demon Vein experts also broke through.
  • Sikong Jing told Teng Yue that the Demon Vein’s fighters would grow stronger quickly and asked him to delay Chai Jiu with negotiations.
  • Sikong Jing asked Yinlu to comfort the sacrifices and ordered the Demon Vein people to enter the barrier to train and bring them out.
  • Inside the barrier, Chai Gong reassured the Cang Vein deathsworn that the Great Sect Master’s hostage exchange plan would succeed.
  • A prisoner leader sensed someone approaching, and an unfamiliar Black-Clothed Youth passed through the barrier into the prison.

Ch. 2310I am Black Scale, Instant Kill Saint Martial

Sikong Jing entered the prison, revealed himself as Black Scale and the Lord of the Demon Vein, and killed a Saint Martial prisoner in an instant. He then summoned the demon folk to seize the sacrifices and train by fighting the prisoners and deathsworn without killing them.

  • A twisted prisoner attacked the newly arrived Black-Clothed Youth, but he used the Previous Lord of Ten Thousand Beasts' claw corpse-bone to crush the prisoner and erase his spirit shadow.
  • Sikong Jing revealed that he was Black Scale and the Lord of the Demon Vein, leaving Chai Gong and the others stunned by his identity and power.
  • Sikong Jing ordered all people of the Demon Vein to enter the prison and begin training the troops.
  • Sikong Jing ordered the demon folk to take away the sacrifices and beat down the prisoners and deathsworn without killing them.
  • The demon folk charged into battle to sharpen their fighting talent and build their confidence.

Ch. 2311Block Reinforcements, Seize the Divine Shuttle Ship

Sikong Jing led the prisoners and deathsworn through a brutal training session, then escaped the prison with the demons and sacrifices. He revealed to Teng Yue that his plan was to ambush the Cang Vein’s reinforcements, seize their Divine Shuttle Ships, and drive them from Gods and Devils Island; Chai Gong then emerged from the prison after Chai Jiu summoned him.

  • Sikong Jing forced the prisoners and deathsworn to fight, then led the powerful demons deeper into the prison while the weaker ones left the barrier, and they all broke through to higher realms.
  • Sikong Jing returned with sacrifices and escaped the barrier with his demons, leaving Chai Gong and the other prisoners unable to follow.
  • Chai Gong wondered whether the prison’s rules had changed, but he failed to pass through the barrier and was summoned by the Chief Gate Master.
  • Teng Yue told Sikong Jing that Chai Jiu was close to attacking, and Sikong Jing explained that Chai Jiu would wait until he confirmed whether Black Scale had received the Demon Vein inheritance.
  • Sikong Jing told Teng Yue that demon forces would ambush the Cang Vein’s reinforcements, seize their Divine Shuttle Ships, and help drive the Cang Vein from Gods and Devils Island.
  • Chai Jiu summoned Chai Gong out of the prison, and Chai Gong appeared beside him two quarter-hours later.

Ch. 2312War Begins, Frenzied Assault

Chai Jiu realized Sikong Jing had used the negotiations to let the Demon Vein grow stronger, so he launched an attack on the Cosmic Vein. Sikong Jing led the Demon and Cosmic Veins into a fierce counterattack that drove the Cang Vein to the shores of Gods and Devils Island, where its reinforcements finally arrived.

  • Chai Gong reported that the demons had grown far stronger, and Chai Jiu ordered the Cang Vein to attack the prison.
  • Teng Yue prepared the Cosmic Vein for battle, and Sikong Jing led the Demon Vein out to fight under his command.
  • The strengthened Demon Vein held back the Cang Vein, and Teng Yue led the Cosmic Vein to join the assault.
  • After hours of fighting, Chai Jiu ordered a retreat toward the shores while promising that Cang Vein reinforcements were near.
  • Cang Vein Divine Shuttle Ships appeared over the sea, and Chai Ren rejoiced that their troops had arrived.

Ch. 2313Of Course, There Were Preparations

Sikong Jing led the Demon and Cosmic Veins back into battle despite the Cang Vein’s reinforcements, confident that more Cang Vein troops would not arrive. When Chai Jiu learned the next batches had been intercepted, Sikong Jing revealed he had long since stationed demonfolk along their route.

  • Sikong Jing ordered the Demon and Cosmic Veins to keep charging, and Teng Yue urged the Cosmic Vein members to trust his plan.
  • Chai Jiu gathered the first batch of Cang Vein reinforcements and led them against the Demon and Cosmic Veins while awaiting more troops.
  • The Cang Vein’s first batch was gradually suppressed, but Chai Jiu kept fighting as he waited for the second batch to arrive.
  • After a message from the second batch arrived, Chai Jiu learned something had gone wrong and demanded to know when Sikong Jing had deployed the demonfolk troops.
  • Sikong Jing told Chai Jiu he had stationed heavy forces along the route between Absolute Formation Gate and Gods and Devils Island to intercept the reinforcements.

Ch. 2314Don't Run, Come Wash Away the Humiliation!

Sikong Jing convinced the Cang Vein that its reinforcements had been blocked, then led the Demonic and Cosmic Veins in pursuit as the Cang Vein retreated. At Demon Rock Island, the demonfolk discovered that Heavy Rock had deceived them into slaughtering Cang Vein troops and had transformed into a human.

  • Chai Jiu denied that Sikong Jing could have arranged the demonfolk ambushes in advance, but Sikong Jing kept the true scale of his forces secret.
  • Sikong Jing ordered the Demonic and Cosmic Veins to attack, forcing Chai Jiu and the Cang Vein to retreat again.
  • Zhan Hu mocked Chai Ren for fleeing after claiming he would wash away his humiliation, and Chai Ren coughed up blood in fury.
  • Sikong Jing continued directing demonfolk forces across the Gods and Devils Island Sea while the battle remained difficult beyond appearances.
  • At Demon Rock Island, Heavy Rock's demonfolk forces completed an ambush on the Cang Vein's third batch of reinforcements and seized their Divine Shuttle Ships.
  • The Demon Rock Islanders confronted Heavy Rock after realizing they had killed Cang Vein troops, and watched him reveal his human form and Saint Martial Stage strength.

Ch. 2315Stalemate, What's the Countermeasure?

Heavy Rock revealed that Sikong Jing had ordered him to force Demon Rock Island into fighting the Cang Vein and begin awakening its demons. As demon and Cang Vein reinforcements gathered, the battle settled into a difficult deadlock, leaving both sides’ leaders to plan their next moves at Demon Rock Island.

  • Heavy Rock admitted he had concealed that the troops were Cang Vein reinforcements, then explained Sikong Jing’s plan to seize their Divine Shuttle Ships and force Demon Rock Island to resist.
  • Heavy Rock taught the demons the Demonic Battle Heaven-Constant Art, and, despite lingering opposition, used his strength to bring Demon Rock Island onto the path of awakening.
  • Other demon experts took captured Divine Shuttle Ships to spread the plan across the Gods and Devils Island Sea as reinforcements arrived for both sides.
  • Chai Jiu accused Sikong Jing of only recently organizing the ambushes, while Sikong Jing replied that the demons were gathering and could use the seized ships to bring in reinforcements.
  • After several days of fighting and shifting reinforcements, the battle reached a deadlock, and the Demon and Cosmic Veins gathered at their temporary headquarters on Demon Rock Island.

Ch. 2316Next Step, Trapping the Cang Vein

Sikong Jing proposed using Ying Sanmeng’s demon authority to reach Cangyu Sect while the Cang Vein’s leaders were away, then trapping Chai Jiu’s forces inside the Desolate Sea Absolute Formation to force negotiations. The Cosmic Vein’s hopes rose, but Ying Sanbo worried that Chai Jiu might see through the plan.

  • Ying Sanmeng and the Cosmic Vein elders voiced fears that neutral Cangyu Sect elders or outside allies could tip the balance against them.
  • Sikong Jing asked Teng Yue about winning the neutral elders’ support and noted that the Absolute Formation Gate would close in about a month.
  • Sikong Jing revealed that Ying Sanmeng and Saint Martial Demon Vein members could leave the formation without using the gate and secretly return to Cangyu Sect.
  • Sikong Jing proposed sending Ying Sanmeng to seize Cangyu Sect or enlist the neutral elders while a Cosmic Vein team escaped through the gate.
  • Sikong Jing explained that they could trap Chai Jiu’s War Puppet and many Cang Vein forces inside the formation, making Chai Jiu negotiate to save his main force.
  • Ying Sanbo asked whether Chai Jiu might anticipate their plan.

Ch. 2317The Momentum of a Single Drumbeat

Sikong Jing organized a deception to make Chai Jiu expect an assault on the Absolute Formation Gate while Ying Sanmeng led eight Sacred Martial devilfolk on a secret mission against the Cangyu Sect. After revealing his real name to Teng Yue, Sikong Jing began preparing for the possibility that Ying Sanmeng’s operation would fail and Chai Jiu would remain guarding the gate.

  • Sikong Jing ordered the devilfolk to gather around Demon Rock Island and publicly cultivate the Demonic Battle Heaven-Constant Art to make Chai Jiu believe they would attack the Absolute Formation Gate soon.
  • Sikong Jing sent Ying Sanmeng and eight Sacred Martial devilfolk through the absolute formation to infiltrate the Cangyu Sect, while spreading word that Ying Sanmeng had entered seclusion.
  • Ying Sanmeng told Sikong Jing that the Cang Vein had seized the prison and that he had no spatial transmission stone, leaving him to carry out the operation without reinforcements from inside.
  • Teng Yue apologized for the Cosmic Vein’s past failures, and Sikong Jing reassured him that he had still been helpful.
  • Sikong Jing told Teng Yue his real name and said he would prepare a way for the devilfolk and Cosmic Vein to escape through the Absolute Formation Gate even if Ying Sanmeng failed to draw Chai Jiu away.

Ch. 2318Sea Beast Swarm, Ice Eternal Mystic Turtle

Sikong Jing planned to use Ice Eternal Mystic Turtles to secretly move demon forces toward the Absolute Formation Gate while preparing to counter Chai Jiu’s attack. As the Cang Vein launched an assault on Demon Rock Island, he ordered the gathered demon forces to retreat to hidden positions and await the turtles.

  • Teng Yue remembered Sikong Jing’s name and vowed that the Cosmic Vein had to win and return to the Cangyu Sect.
  • Sikong Jing learned about the Ice Eternal Mystic Turtles, which lived near the Absolute Formation Gate, and arranged for demon folk to subdue them.
  • Chai Jiu’s officers reported the demon forces’ buildup and Ying Sanmeng’s attempt to reach the third major realm of the Divine Martial Stage.
  • Chai Jiu ordered the Cang Vein to wait for reinforcements before attacking Demon Rock Island and cutting off the demon forces’ routes.
  • When the Cang Vein attacked, Sikong Jing ordered the demon forces to retreat if necessary and gather at hidden positions to await the Ice Eternal Mystic Turtles.

Ch. 2319There's a Trick, There's a Trick!

Sikong Jing used the two Demon Universe Veins as bait to draw the Cang Vein away from Gods and Devils Island while Ying Sanmeng moved elsewhere. Chai Jiu realized Ying Sanmeng was not with the troops and recognized that the apparent retreat was a trap.

  • Sikong Jing secretly relayed orders through fish and led the two Demon Universe Veins in a desperate defense of Demon Rock Island.
  • After learning Ying Sanmeng had met with the two Divine Martial uncles’ true bodies, Sikong Jing ordered the troops to feign defeat and retreat toward Gods and Devils Island.
  • Chai Jiu sent Cang Vein forces to intercept the retreating demonmen, and the fighting shifted across the sea until the Cang Vein encircled them.
  • Sikong Jing told the uncles to have Ying Sanmeng begin entering the Cangyu Sect, then provoked Chai Jiu by claiming Ying Sanmeng was still trying to break through.
  • Chai Jiu noticed that the Saint Martial demonmen around Sikong Jing were not the figures he expected and ordered the Cang Vein to retreat, concluding Ying Sanmeng was absent and the battle was a trap.

Ch. 2320Return, or Hold Fast?

Sikong Jing revealed that Ying Sanmeng had used demon-man authority to leave the Desolate Sea Absolute Formation and attack Cangyu Island, putting Chai Jiu's group in a bind. After learning that neutral elders would not interfere, Sikong Jing ordered Ying Sanmeng to seize their families and allies, while Chai Jiu stopped his furious forces from charging.

  • Sikong Jing led Chai Jiu to realize that Ying Sanmeng had taken the scattered demon troops toward the Absolute Formation Gate.
  • Chai Jiu dismissed the threat, believing Ying Sanmeng could not break through without being a troop formation master.
  • Sikong Jing revealed that Ying Sanmeng could leave the formation through other directions and was heading for Cangyu Island.
  • Two Divine Martial uncle-masters told Sikong Jing that neutral elders would not interfere with their actions on Cangyu Island.
  • Sikong Jing ordered Ying Sanmeng to seize Chai Jiu's family members, disciples, and allies, showing no mercy to anyone who resisted.
  • Chai Ren urged the Cang Vein to attack, but Chai Jiu ordered everyone to stop.

Ch. 2321Teng Yue's Mission

Sikong Jing and Chai Jiu argued over the Cang Vein’s plan to kill Ying Sanmeng and destroy the Demon and Cosmic Veins. Teng Yue returned from a secret mission carrying someone, and Chai Jiu ordered his troops to capture him.

  • Chai Jiu revealed that his true body and other Divine Martial Stage experts had returned to Cangyu Island to kill Ying Sanmeng, while two experts stayed to guard Absolute Formation Gate.
  • Chai Jiu recounted Sikong Jing’s failed efforts to win over neutral elders and bargain for the families and disciples held by the Cang Vein.
  • Sikong Jing explained that he had to protect the Cosmic Vein and the Ying Family, descendants of Black Demon, and uphold his promise to the Two-Horned War Demon Tiger.
  • Chai Jiu threatened to exterminate the Demon and Cosmic Veins, sparing only Sikong Jing and Teng Yue as slaves.
  • Sikong Jing asked where Teng Yue had gone, and Teng Yue appeared above the battlefield carrying a person and said he had completed his mission.
  • Chai Jiu ordered his troops to take Teng Yue down.

Ch. 2322Demonic Puppets, Here Again

Sikong Jing’s plan used Teng Yue to bring a prisoner from Gods and Devils Island into the Cang Vein’s ranks, drawing the Demonic Puppet into wounding their leaders. With the spatial seal broken, the Demonic and Cosmic Veins escaped into the sea, and Sikong Jing prepared to teleport to the Absolute Formation Gate.

  • Chai Ren captured Teng Yue and the prisoner, but Teng Yue explained that he had brought the prisoner from Gods and Devils Island under Sikong Jing’s instructions.
  • The Demonic Puppet appeared, ordered Teng Yue to release the prisoner, and killed the prisoner while its pressure wounded the Cang Vein’s leaders.
  • Sikong Jing led the Demonic and Cosmic Veins into the sea instead of attacking the injured Cang Vein.
  • Sikong Jing met Teng Yue underwater, explained that the Demonic Puppet had shattered the Cang Vein’s spatial seal, and prepared to teleport to the Absolute Formation Gate.
  • Teng Yue returned the Space Sacred Key to Sikong Jing.

Ch. 2323Cang Vein, Courage Shattered

Sikong Jing and Teng Yue’s plan devastated the Cang Vein and sent the Demon and Cosmic Veins racing toward the Absolute Formation Gate. Chai Jiu’s forces recovered too late, and their fear of another ambush slowed their pursuit.

  • Sikong Jing unleashed the Qianyuan Battle-Killing Formation and Beast Slaughter Array against the Cang Vein, then escaped through a spatial passage with the Space Sacred Key.
  • Teng Yue led the Demon and Cosmic Veins onto the Ice Eternal Mystic Turtles and explained that Sikong Jing would lead scattered demon troops in a breakout at the Absolute Formation Gate.
  • The two Divine Martial grand-uncles and other experts used Space Folding to speed the group toward the gate with the turtles.
  • The attack killed many Cang Vein soldiers, and Chai Jiu led his troops into the sea only to find that the Demon and Cosmic Veins had vanished.
  • Chai Ren blamed Sikong Jing and Teng Yue for the Cang Vein’s losses, while the Second Gate Master urged caution, fearing more hidden traps on the way to the Absolute Formation Gate.

Ch. 2324Sikong Jing, Breaking Through the Absolute Formation Gate

Sikong Jing led the demon forces through the Absolute Formation Gate and killed the two Divine Martial elders guarding it. He then set out for Cangyu Island to rescue Ying Sanmeng and force the neutral elders to take a stance.

  • Chai Jiu told the Cang Vein leaders that his true body had returned to the Cangyu Sect and planned to capture Ying Sanmeng.
  • Sikong Jing appeared at the Absolute Formation Gate with a large demon army and eight Sacred Martial warriors, catching the two Cang Vein elders off guard.
  • Forged Rock and the other demon warriors helped Sikong Jing kill both Divine Martial elders, while their War Puppet bodies informed Chai Jiu's group of the defeat.
  • Sikong Jing ordered the demon troops to head for Cangyu Island to rescue Ying Sanmeng and pressure the neutral elders to declare their position.
  • Sikong Jing led the mounted demon army and eight Sacred Martial warriors away, leaving the Absolute Formation Gate empty.

Ch. 2325I Can Only Help You This Much

Chai Jiu searched Cangyu Island for Ying Sanmeng, who had hidden with two Divine Martial uncles in Honorary Guest He's secret realm. After Honorary Guest He revealed them, Chai Jiu attacked, leaving Ying Sanmeng and his allies badly wounded as they tried to hold out for Black Scale.

  • Chai Jiu returned to Cangyu Island and learned that Ying Sanmeng had taken several Cang Vein family members away.
  • Chai Jiu searched the Cosmic Vein's secret realms and pursued the remaining Cosmic Vein troops, but reconsidered and returned to the island.
  • Chai Jiu ordered everyone on Cangyu Island to open their secret realms and discovered that Honorary Guest He's realm remained closed.
  • Honorary Guest He opened his secret realm and revealed Ying Sanmeng, two Divine Martial uncles, and Cang Vein hostages before withdrawing with his family.
  • Chai Jiu attacked Ying Sanmeng and the two uncles without negotiating, and the three were quickly wounded as they held their ground until Black Scale arrived.
