Background / History

Tang Hao was one of the Clear Sky Sect’s “Twin Stars” alongside his elder brother, Tang Xiao. The sect set them a ten-year trial: the first brother to reach Soul Saint would gain eligibility to inherit the sect-master position, with surviving Slaughter City serving as an additional qualification. 173

He and Tang Xiao left the sect to train, first traveling toward Heaven Dou City. Tang Hao later became known in Toran City’s Soul Fighting Arena as “One Punch Man,” where he won five consecutive matches through overwhelming direct force. 226 257

During his travels, Tang Hao reunited with Bibi Dong, whom he had encountered in Slaughter City as the Rakshasa. Their arena battle ended with Tang Hao falling out of bounds after Bibi Dong adapted to the Clear Sky Hammer’s power; he acknowledged that she had surpassed him in technique. 258 259

Tang Hao developed mutual feelings with Ah Lan, a Hundred-Thousand-Year Blue Silver Emperor in human form. After Tang Xiao withdrew from their relationship, Tang Hao and Ah Lan traveled together. Their relationship became the pretext for Spirit Hall’s campaign against him after Ah Lan’s identity was leaked. 282

Conflict with Spirit Hall

After Ah Lan’s identity is exposed, Spirit Hall ambushes Tang Hao and Ah Lan. Tang Hao defeats the attacking force, severely injures two Title Douluo, returns to the sect, and demands the Great Sumeru Hammer to confront the threat. 282 286 288 289

Tang San’s upbringing
